That eye of hers throws me for a loop, amongst other things.

Plus Tali is the most adorable.

Definitely Tali. I romanced Ashley first playthrough for the achievement and now I'm doing a renegade playthrough for that achievement, in which I'll probably romance Liara. But after that, I'm waiting for the second game and Tali, so no romance in my third playthrough.

I prefer Tali myself, Liara is too cold. I like her as a person, but not as a romance option.

I did Liara and then Tali with my Renegon and everyone was totally cool with it.

I'd go for Tali if you have to choose.

I know nothing of the romances in the game.

But I'll go and say Tali.

If you have lair of the shadow broker in ME2, do what I did: romance Liara in the first game, but near the end of the shadow broker, she'll suggest just being friends. Say "let's just be friends", and then go romance Tali.
