Because having to reach all the way from your "WASD" to the "0" key (after looking down and finding it) is going to get you stomped in a fast-paced game. :P

I don't know how I'll be able to use that mouse, because I'll be accidentally pressing buttons on the side.

They're not that easy to press in that you'd be doing it accidentally after a few days

Blade, the Apple mouse has a touch pad (not a touchscreen mind you, it doesn't display anything) that allow you to have a standard mouse's functionality but with no buttons =P

It's made by Apple, it's not designed to be functional in a sensible, user-friendly way, it's designed to use the most expensive technology they can cram into it.
