If there's one thing I've learned, it's that the attention span of the average BZPer is only long enough for short blog entries. :P

I bought a tenor double ocarina.

Got a good amount of practice under my belt already. That's gonna slow down now that school's started again.

First person to suggest I bought this because of LoZ, I'mma gonna pop ya one.

Ocarinas in general are one of the easier instruments to pick up and start playing. Mastering them on the other hand takes quite some doing.

It isn't too hard to get entry level without throwing down too much cash. I decent plastic 12-hole should only run you $20-30. Then you can either purchase method books or just browse the internet if you're only interested in playing specific songs.

... That's a lot of holes. The only ocarina I've ever seen only had four.

Anyway, I for one enjoy the sound produced by the ocarina. Good luck with practice and have fun doing it. ^_^

I've seen ocarinas range from 4-12 holes and then into the double, triple, and even quadruple chambers. Needless to say, I'm not that ambitious. :P

Dear sweet Mata Nui that is gorgeous. My friend got me an ocarina for Christmas, but it was a 5-hole handmade one that looks like a kid sculpted it out of Play-Doh.

They're so much fun to play, I know I enjoy it. Good luck ^^
