Hey guys! Well, apparently I received both of these entries sometime late last night. 72 hours is a bit tight, huh duelists? :P

Anyhoo, We shall now begin with the round two voting...

Here is the original challenge:

---------------------------------------------------

Your MoC may not contain:

~ Any ball sockets what-so-ever

---------------------------------------------------

With that said, I suppose that I shall reveal the entries. Draco Cyanopterus, I changed my mind, and I have decided to include the names of the builders in the voting, for several reasons. ;)

DV sent his entry in first this time, so he gets to go first.

Duelist name: Darth Vader

Description: "cargo carrying sort of flying thing for Matoran" - DV

A quote from DV:

So, 72 hours sucks. Haha. S'all I got. Busy weekend. Basically threw it together yesterday.

Ah yes, and that is part of the whole challenge of this contest! ;)

Now it's Roa's turn...

Duelist name: Roa McToa

Entry name: Guroggen the Ice Troll

A quote from Roa:

Ahh, 10 pm AK time, and I am DONE! Yay! I built his arms laate last night, like 2 am. I finished him today over my lunch break and about 3 hours of finish work this evening.

There ya go! :D

It is now time to begin the voting. Please choose one of the above MoCists that you wish to vote for, and say who you are voting for in a comment in this blog entry.

When voting, please keep these things in mind (in this order):

- Does the MoC portray the challenge well?

- Is the MoC creatively built and original?

- Does it look cool/sleek/amazing?

The voting time begins now (Tuesday, June 24th) and shall end Friday (June 27th). At which time, the third challenge shall be posted and round #3 shall begin. That is, unless Roa wins the duel.

Current scores:

DV: 10

Roa: 5

(Updated: 6/27/08,11:13 AM CST)

You guys are now free to vote for the MoCist of your choice! :)

Wait, doesn't Roa's have two red balls for eyes never mind, didn't see sockets.

Anywho, I vote for DV's, because it's cyuute!

DV. I could totally see that thing flitting around Le-Koro or somewheres.

Roa's is certainly trollish, but a little proportionally wonky.

DV's, if only it had a better color scheme and no Tohunga with a brown (total clashing) Miru.

there are NO SOCKETS on my moc, so please stop saying I cheated by using sockets. There are some pieces that fit a ball, like throwbot heads. (thanks for noticing that Arpy aka P.P.S.G.)

Its safe to say, that dv may just have this round.

Onto round 3!

Is it so bad that we personally like Roa's?

EDIT: Ah, we did not read clearly enough. The rules are no ball sockets. We just don't like DV's. Roa's may not be the smoothest, but it seems to us to be the better built MOC. More effort seems to be put into Roa's. Thus, we vote for Roa's.

Roa's troll. Awesome bite, hands, and posing. Seems innovative for the no ball/sockets.

Neither of them seems to be too great, but I have to say Roa on this one. Mostly because of the clever gear function and that weird green thing on the back of DV's Moc. I still don't know what that thing is supposed to be. :P
