Gosh, the movie isn't even out yet. I'd think you'd at least wait until it has been released to form an opinion about something nobody has ever seen. :P

2) The trailers.

 

And anyway, I never said it was bad, I just said Lucas was squeezzing more out of the series than he should.

 

But yes I think it will be awful. :)

It would probably help if he could come up with some other ideas for movies. (Maybe a remake of the original trilogy using new actors and special effects! Let him waste his money on that and watch the whole thing sink.)

The prequel trilogy wasn't bad. I like all six movies. I don't see why people always complain about episodes 1, 2 and 3, especially 2. (Maybe I should go rant in my blog.)

 

Lucas had at first very little to with the story of this movie, then gradually became a bigger asset to the process and got very excited about it. This is, I'm sure you know, the kick off of the Clone Wars TV series for Cartoon Network.

 

As for milking SW for all it's worth, what would you say about the expanded universe books? I haven't read much, but I definitely want to pick up the New Jedi Order series, for they have some wicked cool bad guys at the very least. Or do I need to tell you there is going to be a live action TV series coming out next year? It takes place between ep. 3 and 4 and focuses mainly on the bounty hunters. IMO that sounds awesome!!! Bounty hunters galore! Lucas is also not having the biggest role in making these, but I think he is sticking very close by for the first season.

 

I don't know if I've seen the latest trailer, but when I first saw it, aside from Dooku's long head, I was excited. I'll admit I've been teetering between seeing it or not, because I'd have to pay, but then a friend (big SW fan) wanted to see it and I realized that I should support it and I did have an inkling to see it so I'm seeing it.

 

It would probably help if he could come up with some other ideas for movies. (Maybe a remake of the original trilogy using new actors and special effects! Let him waste his money on that and watch the whole thing sink.)

The fans would love it if he continued with Ep 7-9, like he has plans/plots for. But a remake of the original trilogy is just an insult to the original and the original actors who did such a good job. It's not needed. The majority of normal film goers prefer the old trilogy to the prequels.

K. I didn't like the new trilogy, especially II. This is why.

 

1) Overheavy CG. It just looked so off... they threw in CG when there was no imaginable need, and they could've done it just as easy with real stuff, and it would look way better. This wasn't so much a problem for ep. I.

2) Anakin's actor was sooooo bad in episode II. Yes he was.

3) C3PO ON GEONOSIA. Need I say more? Didn't think so.

4) TOO MUCH JAR JAR

 

Yeah those are the main reasons. But there's some other stuff.

 

I just liked the more character driven original trilogy, as opposed to the CG driven prequels.

 

But I still respect those who like the prequels...

 

And yes I have read some of the books. Pretty good. I'd like to read more, especially the stuff that happens after e. VI.

 

But this movie... the animation isn't even that good. =/
