Why were the old purple bricks just fine? Seems that they're just being cheap.

I know. It's a bit ironic, seeing as it's the best color EVAR. The second I read that I wa sall like "Purple pieces just increased by 5".

I vote everyone build purple MOCs and send them to Brickfair next year. Just because. Not only would it be awesome, it ... would be awesome. That's the problem with final decisions like that.

At least he publicly gave a reason for the doing-away-with of purple. (As with the blue-greys, purple, and redbrown of 2004.) I have yet to hear one explaining the blue pins and red axles.
