I didn't ever see the pictures in the box, Roa put that one together. I did Shad's, ToM's, and my own, I believe B6 or KIE did MM's, B6 and Roa did Dr K's, and Roa did Tess' and Shanny's.

You have no idea how long Shad's took.

We only saw the pictures to the ones we personally built. I never saw yours.

If it makes you feel better, I LOVED it. So much better in person (even if built wrong!) than in photos. Absolutely lovely! The flow, the lovely, lovely smooth areas on the MOC.

And it was a hit with the kids at the public expo. They ate it up (they weren't voting on it, though).

Also, KIE loves it too. A lot.

I didn't see anything that made the MOC look bad, I think it's probably just the angle of the shot. Numerous times when we were discussing the BBCC entries comments were made about how good your re-imagining of the classic set was. It got more than a few comments from passersby as I recall as well. While I can't reveal the results of the BrickFair voting yet I'll say I don't think any of the alleged mistakes had a great deal of impact on the outcome.

Just a question, how exactly did the voting there work?

All registrants were given a ballot in their registration bag.

They then filled the ballot out, and dropped it in a box on the BBCC table labeled 'Contest votes'.

Then when voting was over, we counted the ballots, and wrote down the results.

Bada-bing, bada-boom.

The MOC was quite spiffy in person. The only fault I could find was that Kopaka was in a weird pose. But yours was one of my top choices in voting.

Id be quite peeved as well Bunda. This is why I will never send my works to a show via mail. They will come with me or they will not be sent. I share the same sentiments as Seranikai in regard to this BBC.

But glad you all had fun. Thats all that really matters.

I thought it was a great MOC! Don't be too upset. I'm sure nobody noticed anything was wrong with it. It doesn't look bad at all!
