I hate that smiley, I don't know why. Maybe it's because I associate an "I know everything!" attitude with it. Or maybe just because it's overused.

I always associate it with suavely (and stupefyingly) trying to hook a girl.

And that's probably why I never use it.

I, too, find that this emoticon has a rather condescending attitude. When people use it, they seem to have an "I know everything" attitude.
