Look at what two letter approved names you have. Do you have a list of approved names? Also, do you REALLY think you'll get sued over a two letter prefix in a story serial for a toyline that doesn't exist anymore?

Understood, Greg. Personally, I think it would be worth it to get something as prefixes for the remaining canon elements. If it doesn't happen though, we'd live, lol.

At least a general fan-wide thing? (Like the "Olda" being the original, stuff like that.) Nicknames won't need a legal reason, and it gets tiresome writing "Matoran of Plasma/Gravity/Magnetism/long word.

Not only does he have a limited list of names, (at the moment I believe) but LEGO wouldn't let him post the story without it going through legal.

 

It also really isn't smart to think that "we can do anything we want since the toyline isn't around" It still needs to be approved by LEGO, and they also are the ones who say if the story stays or not.

Personally, I'd just like to see more Toa of existing elements before we get any more canonized. I heard we might be getting a serial about a Toa team with some of the alternative elements, so I'm really looking forward to that.

i would say, if you make MOC's, use the colours that you think suits the best with that element

eg.: the plasma polls, what other element(exept psionics) has always the same secondary colour?

I fifth Nuhrii's opinion. Rather than having a whole slew of elements, I want to see the existing ones fleshed out first. I'm averse to having elements "canonized" and being given prefixes and colors...I prefer the freedom of choosing my own colors and prefixes. Once it's canon, it's a bit more difficult to interpret elements our own way, and while it would be nice to see prefixes for other elements like bones suggested, I'd actually like the elements better without all the extra details. Maybe that's just me...I'm sure a lot of people want to see the official prefixes and color schemes. xD
