I know it's odd to get sentimental about an exploration craft that's basically dying about the same time a 1,620 year-old human would(It's expected for a long time), but I remember watching the two Rovers go up, so excited about it, and jumping like crazy as any good 10 year-old would when it landed, then being so amazed that it lasted past the 90 days! Then twice! Then three times! Four! Five! Six! And it kept going on and on in an awesome fashion.
All good things must come to an end though, and while we still have Opportunity, Spirit seems to have done so.
You did darn good Spirit, and we miss you.
