I read somewhere that the old back+melee works as well as the new SUPER ASSASSINATE. Dunno if it's trufax, though.

Probably not. Makes no sense to have both in there cause you would never use the one that takes 3 seconds vs 1 second.

I'm willing to bet that as much as it might make some people angry, the full assassinations are replacing the wack to the back of the head.

The source (discussion on a Halo wiki) says they got the info from one of the Bungie podcasts, which I don't listen to therefore I cannot confirm. They say someone at Bungie said they tried totally ditching the old assassination thing, but people complained so they put it back in, with the new assassination animation thing more as a taunt.

Honestly, I wouldn't miss the current assassination system. Not with the extremely cool looking new assassination system they have in Reach.

I would probably only use it if I was alone or owning some noob, but yeah 1 sec v. 3 secs would have a pretty obvious outcome.

I just wish it was knifing not melee. ;_;

Invasion sounds cool, but sounds kind of like man hunt Halo-ized.

Halo 2 was good. Took me a while before I finally finished Halo 3 and ODST messed up my file so now I have to do the entire thing again. Once I work up the effort I'll just do it on Legendary.

Doesn't take much effort. Just a bit of patience.

There are a couple tough fights in H3, namely in front of the first tower in The Covenant, and when clearing the landing zone for the Dawn on The Ark. Other than that, H3 Legendary is pretty easy. It's all I play it on.

H1 and H2 Legendary, on the other hand...

Well ODST is really easy. I got a very easy halfway through on Heroic. H3 I was really just finishing it for the cheevos and skulls. That was pretty easy except for the Flood parts. I think I've done half the levels on Legendary too. I know you get some helmets and stuff for certain levels, so I think I did them for that and then just continued playing.

Dude Halo 1 was intense on Easy.
