Stop Locking My Entries!

That's not a command...haha.

But in response. B6, Yes, I did. I did mention that I was very snarky with you. Also, thanks for completely disregarding my point in all three propositions. You guys are not taking evident steps to take care of this matter. :/ My point EXACTLY is that there is WAY too much room to misinterpret the rules, and that's YOUR (staff) fault, not ours (members). That's why you need to make the rules more clear! It shouldn't have to be this complicated, I'm just trying to help. :/ Also, you should know I wasn't particularly calling you a fool. I'm sorry you took it that way...

But seriously...

Members, I want YOUR feedback on my previous entry. Do you think I'm right? Do my propositions make sense or am I a lunatic?

Ahem, this is not to dig my hole deeper, just trying to save some future trouble, to be honest. :/

Also, I wondered if anyone had the answer to my question in my previous entry, about editing Staff member's blog comments...?

No offense, but you're only going to get in more trouble for this. It sounds like you're yelling at him, too. :/

What was the real problem with your sig?

^what they said

IMO, you should delete this entry immediately before the staff see it and you get in any more trouble.

I think Black Six covered it pretty well in the last entry. There's quote that I can't quite remember. It was something digging and when find you're a hole, stop digging.

I'm not yelling, I'm just very frustrated. They're not listening! I'm not ignoring the rules, this "rule" isn't even in the rulebook. I'm trying to avoid similar situations for other members in the future. And it's disheartening when the staff are not allowed to even have things suggested to them. :/

..not to mention I spent a good long while writing that previous entry. xD

Wow, 17 users are viewing your blog. Like others said, don't push it. You're only going to lose more proto.

They've all got a point. You should probably just stop.

I'm not trying to "push it" just trying to get this problem fixed.

It's worked before, I've convinced Admins to get new rules in the "rule book" (lol) ask BRex. ;P

He's gone now, and after the other entries I get the feeling that Black Six isn't changing his mind.

This isn't about B6 changing his mind, or me proving something, it's about being fair.

What was the specific signature issue, anyway?

Dunno. It kinda seems like it's all your fault.

Gatanui was supposedly pointing out that your sig violated the rules (Seems useful since you didn't know). Instead of replying with something along the lines of "I really don't see what you mean, could you please be more clear?" You were "snarky." (Never a good idea with the staff. They're pretty picky about that sort of thing)

Then, when B6 got involved, you went super snarky (I still can't believe you didn't lose proto right then.). Then, putting your sig back or whatever I dunno since I don't understand what happened there.

I dunno about editing his comment. Pretty sure I've done that before with no consequences? That should definitely be in the rules.

I agree with your propositions, but I think you handled the situation absolutely terribly. :|

I agree, I should not have been snarky, which is completely my fault. This isn't about me losing proto though, it really isn't. It's about being fair, and if they mean that to be a rule (which by the way was about 2 images in my signature that were well under 250x100, but apparently weren't in the same area...) it should be in the guidelines. Also, I wasn't super snarky to B6, I was actually much nicer to Him than Gatanui...

anyways Sun I think that is in the rules that it has to be in that constrained area.

I personally think you two should sit and have a civilized PM convo and work this out in a calm, cooled manner instead of calling him out in blog entries. :\

Just because life isn't fair doesn't mean people on a website shouldn't be. We're not talking about people going hungry here, that's something that will never change no matter what we do- but things done on a website can be changed.

"If it violates the rules, why don't you remove it? Are you that lazy?" Comes across as super snarky to me.

"An exception to this is if you have multiple small images, but collectively they do not exceed the 250x100 or 468x60 dimension limit." Is it this? That was in sig guidelines topic.

Where? Show me, PLEASE! I've talked to several other members who do not see it there and WANT it there ifwe are going to be expected to abide by it.

It doesn't mean that people online have to be fair though.
