One-year Anniversary
One year ago, at nearly this exact moment, two strangers met in a crowded Portland convention center. Lego abounded, but as two people drifted among the sea of bricks, a friendship was formed between squeals of delight and shouts of "HAY LOOK AT THIS!" And now, a year later, we have our anniversary.
Of course, she's in college and I'm at home, so it'd be hard to get together for a party, right? Wrong. We did the party a week early! (Yup, we're crazy.)
What did we dooo~? Well, we roamed around Target, bought a couple sets (Small car and Squidman Escape) went back to her home, BUILT THEM and had lotsa fun with that, then invited a buncha her friends over and we built the Lego City Freighter ship thingy as a group.
Then we went to dinner. =3 The Melting Pot is such a wonderful restaurant, and the food is different and absolutely great. And the service, quality, and good times are phenomenal. Especially when two Lego-loving BZPower members are in the same booth. It was like... Eeeee!
And need I mention Lego anniversary rings? No pics from me on that, but I do have a pic of the Awesome Duo.
And there's your proof. As for evidence, check out that huge crater in the middle of Portland that we created while we romped around the city. The work crews should just be getting around to fixing it...
