Do you have those that are in front of the teeth or the kind that sits on just two teeth further back inside the mouth?

Only they do hurt sometimes, at least for me. =\

They're okay as long as the orthodontist doesn't start putting random other stuff into your mouth. you need rubber bands... we're gonna box these teeth... how 'bout a Forcus appliance

But the orthodontist's office also gives you cookies, so...

Front of the teeth, on both the top and bottom. Behind the top teeth, they put some other thing in to correct my "over bite". And i also got the rubber bands. ><

Yeah, they are horrible at first. But then you get used to them after a while. I just got mine off early in June, and you want to know something strange? I actually kind of miss them. Weird, huh?

That sounds a bit like me. I have them on the front, top and bottom, at one stage I had something on the inside to correct my overbite, but that's now gone. I also have rubber bands.

I know what you mean. You'll get used to it though. Hopefully you won't have to wear a nightbrace like I do >_<

They gave me the smallest wire possible and then amped it up every six weeks, so every six weeks I eat nothing but overcooked pasta.

I too got the robber bands. No matter what I do they keep popping out, smacking my upper lip. I hate 'em.
