You might notice that little bit in my sig about joining a 'group that will revolutionize writing on BZP.' Allow me to explain.

I was surfing around BZP one day, specifically COT; I noticed a disturbing, almost total lack of any written works. There used to be a new SS or Epic chap almost every day by some author or another, and now it seems any trace of such activity has been wiped off the face of the earth by the author's deadly enemy, the eraser. The Epics and SS forum show similar signs, in different ways--a lack of review. Fantastically talented authors aren't even aware they have a gift for writing because no one bothers to tell them, and both them and the less experienced writers aren't receiving the comments and criticism they need and moreover want to improve their writing and reach a veteran level. The Critics Clubs of their respective forums are doing they part extremely satisfactorily, of course, but they can only do so much.

I want to put an end to these issues. I want all the writers of the BZPower community to band together and write. I want to form a Writers' Alliance.

The WA's mission statement would be to make writing a genuinely popular, common activity on BZP, to get people the thoughts on their writing they want, and to generally make people fantastic writers.

It's going to based in this very blog, a whole new sect of the House of the Rising Moon. The WA will try to provide inspiration for writing, tips for writing, reviews of written works, and more. And, I assure you, it's going to be fun. No deadlines, no limits, no restrictions. It's going to be creative and lively. And, if/when it's successful, it's going to be a large-scale project. Weekly updates with themes and sub-themes and challenges. Competition. A ton of members. It's going to require the faith and energy of you, the participant, but otherwise you have total freedom, total right of creativity.
