My friend in French class, Jared (who happened to have given me two giant candy bars before winter break), has informed me that I'm crazy because I don't like waffles. (I find this slightly odd, because I've known I'm crazy for years now.)
I told him that was the least of his worries, since I also didn't like: Waffles Pancakes Hamburgers Chocolate chip cookies He wasn't my only classmate to think I was lying about last one. But it's all true.
I got my hands on the book I ordered. =D
My Algebra 2 homework wound up getting neglected for a good two hours because I was engrossed with Secrets of Deltora -- and breaking the hidden codes that was in it.
Also, Avatar's coming out on the 22nd (Earth Day), so yay.

Well, I am getting a feeling, this time for a songfic or two. Anyone else think that "We'll Be Together" by Sting and "Sober" by P!nk would make good stories in my H&H series?
Why I am even surprised now? I should've expected Sumiki to win yet again.
Answer: The French tested their artillery by firing some shots into the mountains. This caused avalanches that killed many soldiers on both sides.

Yeah, sure, it sounded like the right choice at the moment I read that straightforward PM, and sent my reply back. Flattering offers? You bet. A great honor to be asked? Most likely.
Would I have been able to pull it off, all those responsiblities offered to me, on such a small amount of computer time? Probably not, and that's what I said in my reply. I felt it was the right choice, and it was.
For about five minutes.
Ever since, I've been wondering if I could pull it off in such
Well, I carried out my threat to write a second part for I Love The World.
Also, I'm recently experiencing an out-of-body feeling, due to something that has happened to me. Nothing too terrible, but it was so out of the blue that I'm a little dazed.
So my brother challenged me earlier today, and I said yes because I haven't played in years (unless you count that one phase me and Akaku went through playing chess on a chat site, but that's another story). And as it turns out, he's pretty good at playing, since he beat me in the first game.
Naturally, I wasn't too thrilled about it, so we played again and I won, mostly because he blundered into a multi-check trap.
Then, wanting a tie-breaker, we played for the third time, but we wound u
Apologies for the lateness of this, but Ebezenar McCoy: Blackstaff takes Round Sixteen!

So my English teacher finally got back from his trip to Canada (he apparently didn't get the memo that spring break ended three days ago ), and my class shared our Brags and Bombs for Spring Break.
Apparently, one of my classmates got her permit (note to self: keep an eye on the roads more often), and a lot of us wound up babysitting our siblings for little or no pay (sadly, I was part of that group ). But what really took the cake was what my friend Kathy experienced.

After listening to the 2009 version of "I Love The World" for the millionth time, I decided it must be done. So right now, I'm working on "I Love The World -- Part 2".
Just need to iron out a few things, and then it'll be up.
I'm back in school. Spring Break didn't last.
Well, summer break is within twelve weeks . . . though considering the fact my mom is trying to get me into sports again, that might not be a good thing.
That's starting today and ending on Easter, and it's happening in the exact same building that BrickCon is hosted in. Not going myself, but I have a TON of friends that have been gathering cosplay elements for weeks now, so they should have fun.
On a semi-related note, I'm finally set to challenge Cynthia in Platinum (hey, my brother borrowed my DS for months; can you blame me for lagging?). I'll beat you today, girl -- I've got a powerful team and I know how to use them. >=D
I was playing Platinum like I've been since I got my DS back, and I realized that my new Spiritomb (my brother gave it to me a few days ago) has a high friendship with me (significant, since I only got it three days ago, but since I did the same thing for my new Milotic, it's not that big a stretch). So naturally, I go to Dr. Footstep, and set it out to get a Footstep Ribbon.
The results I got back were . . . disturbing.

My brother finally managed to corner it today around lunch, but then he ran out of Pokeballs. He went, bought more, and tracked it down, but handed it off to me to make a sandwich after he tossed and broke his first ball.
So I picked it up and gave it a shot. And as it turns out, I seem to be better than my bro when it comes to catching legendaries, since I got it on my second Ultra Ball. The look on his face after I showed him was priceless.
Me and my brother were dicussing the starters in SoulSilver and HeartGold this morning (thank you, Spring Break), and he dimissed Chikorita as "weak." Now, I've been planning to start with Cyndaquill once I got my own game, but I decided to shake it up.
Once I get HeartGold, I'll start with Grass instead of Fire, and then see if I can prove Zen wrong. >=D
Taking a peek inside this topic reminded me of something my Chemistry teacher told my class before we headed out for spring break. We've been studying Light in our latest chapter, and according to him, if you can travel faster than the speed of light, time travel is possible.
Food for thought, eh? It never occured to me beforehand that Takanuva had the slimmest of chances at traveling through time.
Sumiki wins this round, simply because he had the longest list. Here's the full list of twenty:
Answer: I shot a squirrel in a tree. (killed) A long shot in betting. (odds) A shot in the dark. (guessing) A shot of liquor. (portion) I’m all shot today. (tired) Shot the day. (wasted) Shot a picture. (took) Took a shot at farming. (chance) Shot a gun. (fired) Shot an arrow. (expelled from a bow) Shot a game of pool. (played) Basketball shot. (throw) Business is shot. (ruined) You look shot. (bad
As of an hour and a half ago, I was released for spring break.
Nine days to write, read, play video games, and watch Mythbusters until I fall asleep. Then wake up and do it all again.
Anyway, my brother got his new DS last night, finally. Since it's a DSi, by all rights I should get his GBA games, since I have the only system that can play them now, but he's being stubborn and not bending to logic.
Oh well. I'll have a long time to plan how to get my hands on his Emerald and make my o
