Which Year Deserved A Movie?

Years that already had movies omitted because otherwise it would be redundant.To quote the original topic poster from S&T:

If you had no prior knowledge of the Bionicle storyline at all and you watch the movies, you wouldn't have much of an idea what's going on, would you?So, my question is: which year deserved a movie in terms of bridging the plot and making it make sense in terms of the movie?I'd say 2006 and/or 2008. More 2008.

So remember, this isn't necessarily about which movie would be the most potentially awesome or well-written, but which could have been best used to explain the plots, characters, and themes of BIONICLE.I personally say that whatever the year, the film would have to have some ability to stand alone, making setting change years obviously better (see why 2004 and 2010 worked as movies?) and encapsulate the ideas of BIONICLE. As such, I lean towards 2008. It features the first movie's main characters and would have made TLR make some more sense in certain ways.~ BioGio

I voted 2007. It had many movie qualities such as:-Matoro's inside struggles and secrets-The Barraki's backround story-Makuta's returnand many other things.However, I'd rather not see it in Miramax form, I dislike Miramax form. I'd definately want to see it in TLR style and/or Mahri Mini Movie style (though they look around the same )

2006. It was just so dark, and the fight scenes could be awesome in movie form, such as the Nuva-Piraka fight and Brutaka vs. Axonn.

I went for 2008. It would've been a great way to wrap up the Aqua Magna story.

2006, because it was a great year story-wise, IMO.
