  1. 2005. No joke. Sure, the Hordika weren't symmetric, but story wise they were mutants, so it made sense. The Rahaga looked like chibi Rakshii, both hilarious and cute. The Visorak were very spider-like and I loved how you can make their jaws snap. But the titants take the cake: well-built, and a lot of fun to play with. The story was my favorite too, with the Toa having to fight their inner beast and re-find unity. The Hagah backstory was cool, showing the Rahaga weren't wierd sages, but old Toa mutated. And all of the Visorak horde and it's leaders was a mystery that ended up connecting to Makuta, showing us that he didn't work alone. In the end, it may be nostalgia talking, but if it wasn't for 2005, I wouln'd have become a Bionicle fan.
  2. I really wish the new sets come out in christsmas, instead of January (would be a good día de reyes gift, though XD). It would've made more sense, with all the holyday spirit and extra money. What do you think? Having a brand new [insert name of the first set you're gonna buy] sitting under your tree? Or having a Bionicle-less christmas?
  3. I didn't like 2010. So rushed, so many deux ex machina (I'm looking at you Golden Armor). And only six Agori-like sets.
  4. Now, all the Toa (not calling them Masters) have some flaws in their color schemes, specially Lewa (did they run out of green parts?). But Onua is different. I'm not really sure why, but him and Tahu please my eyes the most, and for the first time in my life, I'm gonna buy the black set first. Just have to surpass the pain of $20
  5. First I got Matau as a primera comunión (not sure how it is said in USA) gift. Then I bought Nokama Hordika in a Wal-Mart. I was instantly hooked when my parents bought me the rest of the Hordika for christmas.
  6. Soooo... doing the math, it will cost me around 3200 mexican pesos. Better get to saving, but I'm quite sure I'll have to starve somedays. But having Onua and Lewa will be worth it.
  7. The videod didn't quite convince me. Guess I'll have to wait until more story is revealed to give a veredict. I'm glad they kept the masks, for the most part (seriously, "Ultimate Power"?) I really wanted to see what happend with S.M.... oh well.
  8. This. Mostly because I don't keep the canisters and boxes. Each year I used to recycle them, now I have none. And my Bionicle keep rolling around the house XD
  9. I think it will be a good story. Maybe not as great as the originial, but I don't think Lego will squander the hype they've build up so far.
  10. Tbh I pretty much bought them for the sets. Didn't really pay much attention to the story. Actually, I didn't even know where to find the story lol Biosector 01 is a good place to start. Be aware though, it's full of spoilers and confusing for the uninitiated. Bioniclemediaproject is also a very cohesive compilation of all media, minus the movies. Oh, and the worst thing Lego, could do... honestly not bring back a combination of old and new molds.
  11. I just think it will be funny to see the disbelief on those young kids faces when we tell them that the first bionicle didn't have head, elbow an knee articulations
  12. Here's the link to my work for the week: Cocodrilo the hermit and Neko-Ma Sorry it's a bit late (and long) but I really had to put an effort to make it the size it is and not include many elements that could cause confusion (as this is a -relatively- small fragment from a book I'm writting, and I feel to lazy to make nough descriptions to clarify it ) Also, a writting tip: Try listening to some music while writting, but don't just pick any song, but one that goes according to the mood you want your strory to be (happy, sad, intriguing, calm...). Also, try not to pick a song that can be too distracting: the music you listen while writting must be like "background music": present, but not the focus of what you're doing.
