  1. IC: Zeal, Sister / Onu-Koro - Ugly Ussal'Super-speed, eh? Could come in handy. Problem is, I'm not as active at I used to be,' the Silver Toa said, holding up his cane. 'But yeah, we'll see what I can do.' He managed a grin.'Motara Desert sounds good, seeing as it's well away from anywhere. I've got two worries, though. One; getting lost. Two; sandstorms.' Sister tapped her fingers on the table, something she tended to do when anxious.
  2. OOC: Indeed they are. Not active at the moment, but alive.IC: Zeal, Sister / Onu-Koro - Ugly Ussal (good name, by the way)'Sounds like a plan. We'll want to take the Mataraka well away from any civilised areas. I honestly have no idea what could happen with this thing once we start hitting it. Although, superheating it to white-hot temperatures didn't put a dent in it.''As for hobbies, talents and other such things, I used to be an inventor of sorts. My old mask allowed me to juryrig things together or form rudimentary plans. The Mataraka went off, and it killed my Kanohi. I sold it to a Mask-Maker, with explicit orders not to melt it down, in exchange for this,' he said, tapping his Kakama. 'After that, I stopped inventing. I would settle down here, with the tinkerers and the like, but I find the underground... claustrophobic.''I don't remember much about my home life, too young. Before I found myself here, though, I remember that I used to love to draw. Of course, at such a young age, my artistic skills left something... well, a lot to be desired. Maybe I should try my hand at it again some time.' 'I'm in agreement with Miraul. Others might be willing to divulge any information they know, as well.'
  3. While we're still on the same page, I've got a mercenary/assassin character who needs a job.
  4. IC: Zeal, Sister / Onu-Koro - Restaurant Interior (OOC: seriously, we need to name this place) Zeal took his second tea, and nodded a silent thanks to the waiter. 'I'm not really that hungry.' 'I don't get it, Zeal. You have one meal in, like, two days. How you've not starved is beyond me.''Just because I only have one meal every once-in-a-while doesn't mean I don't eat outside of meal times. I'm capable of finding food elsewhere.' He adjusted his robes, and pulled out a small pouch. 'This meal's on me, guys.''In that case, I'll have bread as an appetizer, and... I've heard good things about the Kikanalo Steak. I'll take one of those.' Sister was practically salivating at the thought. Zeal nodded, and counted out the widgets for that order. 'Anyone else?'
  5. Reading this and then seeing Nuju's sig inspires major mood dissonance.I'm just thinking of the twist of Mata Nui being the right voice and Makuta being the left one. Weird imagery.
  6. OOC: Trust me, if I wanted to maim/kill several characters in a big colourful explosion of fury and sparkles, I'd be very sure to let you know beforehand IC: Zeal / Onu-Koro - Restaurant Interior'Fair enough, I guess. We've been looking around for a fair few weeks, though. I grow impatient, and this island is dangerous outside the villages without backup.''And as for the artefact, can't tell you anything more than I know. Silver orb of unknown origin. Took my element, replaced it with another.' Zeal demonstrated his point by letting a small flame dance in his palm, before quickly snuffing it. 'I can still use element and Kanohi, just not my own. At this point, six Toa is only a theory. Neither I, nor Dekuna could unlock it alone. Sister helpfully provided us with the Six Theorum. But for all we know, it could take ten, or a hundred.'
  7. IC: Zeal / Onu-Koro - Restaurant Interior'I prefer cynical, personally. The concept carries slightly more positive connotations, and is a lot more fun.' He once again sipped at his tea, only to found his cup was empty.'And I think that's our cue to decide, ladies and gentlemen. Will you help us?' Zeal wasn't in a mood to muck about.
  8. IC: Zeal / Onu-Koro - Restaurant Interior'Oh, and there's a slight chance it could backfire and kill us all if it doesn't work out. Just a thought.' An awkward silence hung in the air as he slowly grabbed for his tea, sipping at it cautiously.
  9. For those who were involved with Zeal and Sister before my short break, (I forget who, sorry) I made a post thingy. Just to get things back up to speed.
  10. IC: Zeal, Sister / Onu-Koro - Restaurant Interior 'We're looking for a friend. Well, two. Sister?' He gestured down to his companion. The Le-Matoran cleared her throat, trying to make herself sound much more professional than she actually was. 'First off, I'm looking for my sister. She's a Le-Toa, with a Kanohi Huna, and three daggers. Zeal here is also looking for a friend of his, a Vo-Toa, Kanohi Calix, wields a scimitar.''Also,' Zeal began, 'I'm looking for Toa that can help me with... a personal task.' He took a sip from his newly-arrived tea. 'I will warn you, though. I'm not sure what the outcome will be, if any, and if there is one, it will only benefit me. But I can't do it alone.'
  11. Do you think you'd find revenge so sweet?

  12. 575's been edited to being in the Personnel Deck. My mistake, I can't location well.
  13. IC: 575 - Personnel Deck 'Close.' The final window in her HUD disappeared. She knew a heck of a lot more about the mechanisms of the ship, as well as why she carried a big spanner. 'Review Suit Functions,' she told to her Voice Interface. 'Certainly.' An outline of the Power Suit appeared, but only one area was highlighted, on her wrist, which 575 pulled up into her field of vision. 'Arc Welder, huh? How does it work?' 'The User must be a Toa of Lightning for the Arc Welder to work. The User must channel their element into the device, which will arc the current from the electrode to the base material, welding whatever it is applied to. The Visor of the Power Suit is tinted during this time, to protect the User from being blinded.' 'I.. guess that makes sense. Tint Visor.' Her vision turned dark, and she concentrated on her arm. Through the darkness, she could see a spark. It sputtered, then jumped into life, a small bolt of electricity. Highly visible to anyone else on the Personnel Deck.OOC: Anyone else in the main room of the Personnel Deck, feel free to interact.
  14. IC: 575 - Personnel DeckHaving calmed down, she reattached her spanner to her back and contemplated looking through all the notes her suit had on Mechanics. 'Bring up everything you have on Advanced Mechanics and Engineering.' 'Certainly.' The hundreds of pages of information popped up again. She sat back against a wall, and began reading.
  15. IC: 575 - Personnel Deck Huh. This is new. She found her arms locked by her sides, her breathing reverberating throughout her helmet. There was a loud whirring sound, unmistakably mechanical in nature, and she suddenly dropped, hitting the ground with a thud. 575 rose to her feet, observing her surroundings.'Hello! Is anyone there?' 'Hello' a soft, yet monotonous voice replied.'Who... who are you?' 'I am the Voice Interface for the Power Suit of Crew Member 00575.' 'Okay...' She stopped to gather her thoughts for a moment. 'Where am I?' 'You are aboard the starship Requiem IV, on the Personnel Deck.' Pondering again. 'Is there anything important I should know?' Suddenly, a hundred different windows popped up on her HUD, all with diagrams and numbers and instructions. 'Advanced Mechanics and Engineering.... huh.' Suddenly, there was a loud creaking sound, and she instinctively reached behind her back, withdrawing a large spanner, about a bio in length and quite heavy. She wielded the tool with uncertainty and unease, her hands shaking slightly. 'W-who's there?'OOC: 575 open for interaction.
  16. So, question before I jump in; What is the gravity on the Requiem? Is it lowered due to a power drain, non-existent, or comparable to that of Spherus Magna?
  17. ID Tag: 575 Gender & Species: Female Toa of Lightning Appearance: Dulled white power suit, with red outlining and designs spread throughout. Blue Kanohi Matatu without magnifying lens can be seen under visor. Tall and skinny, fairly agile. Power Suit: Magnetic holster on back carries a large spanner for ship repairs and maintenance, small arc welder mounted on wrist powered by user element. Comes with knowledge of advanced engineering as well as severely limited blueprints of the Requiem. Speaks in soft female voice capable of basic conversation and interactivity. Abilities: Kanohi Matatu, Mask of Telekinesis. Able to channel weak electricity at melee range through arc welder. Personality: Crew Member 575 is very soft-spoken, not one to initiate conversation. When in conversation, however, she tries to carry it on as long as possible, as a result of her extended isolation within the Requiem. She could be described as "bubbly" by some, "incessant" by others, and "annoying" by the particularly cynical.

  19. So, I'm back from my unexplained, unannounced break. Truth is, I got kind of bored with the RPG for a while, and I had a ton of schoolwork to stumble through. But now I'm done with that, so I guess I'm back for now . *crickets*
  20. IC: Zeal, Sister / Onu-Koro - Restaurant Interior The two sat themselves at the table. 'So, what business do you have here in Onu-Koro?' the Le-Matoran inquired. Zeal, meanwhile, set about ordering drinks for the group. 'I'll have a tea, please. You guys?' 'Oh, make that two.'
  21. I know that feel, mate ._. I mean, I know Onu-Wahi is usually slow, but when the whole RPG drops, it's just kind of an odd atmosphere.
  22. IC: Zeal / Onu-Koro - Restaurant Exterior Both of them sighed simultaneously. 'In that case, we've got nothing,' said the Silver Toa. 'Although we'll see if we can work something out with him. Maybe we'll find something that we previously looked over.'
  23. IC: Zeal, Sister/ Onu-Koro - Restaurant Exterior 'Actually, yes. Surprisingly spacious down here, though.' She giggled at her decidedly terrible joke. 'A tracker, you say? I'm also looking for someone, Toa of Lightning, Calix, scimitar. Last I heard they were here, but that was a few months ago, so..' He shrugged.
  24. IC: Sister / Onu-Koro - outside a restaurant 'Personal reasons. Long story short, I have a sister. Speaking of, have you seen her? Le-Toa, Kanohi Huna, three daggers?'
  25. IC: Zeal, Sister / Onu-Koro - Village Gates Having tied Aki-Nui up at the stable, the three entered the subterranean village. Sister shivered, not used to the cold of the underground.Zeal took off his cloak, and place it over the Le-Matoran's shoulders, where it trailed comically behind her. He stifled a laugh, and held up his hand, his palm igniting, giving off a lot of very pleasant heat. He immediately extinguished the flame upon seeing the odd looks the Ussalry were giving him. Didn't want to give them the wrong idea. 'So,' he said, leaning on his cane. 'You know anyone who may be able to help us? Because it looks like we got here at the wrong time.'
