  1. Well it's raining over here, it's really pretty...Its weird as sometimes rain can get so annoying, but other times it's beautiful and very peaceful. Though, I love the dark clouds and silent thunder....Favorite weather.
Mine too! I love the sound of the rain and the roaring surprize of the thunder. It just feels refreshing!

I AM WINNING IN THE VOYA NUI POLL!! :happydance:
Congrats! I actually haven't read your entry yet, but I'm looking forward to it! ^_^

Tia Dalma: I feel it in my soul, if we do not escape this night, we will sail trackless seas, under starless skies, to our doom.

    Gibbs: There's a cheery thought.

Jack Sparrow: At least our demise sounds poetic.

I can see Jack Sparrow saying that now!

  2. Oh dear, VBS has been hard work, and its only day 2! I am currently helping in crafts, which is cool. But I can't do any of course. I have to set and clean up the table about 4 times during the day; it can get very tiring and old.

I know how you feel. I helped with toddler activities with my cousin in the VBS at his church last summer. ^_^

Today I went to see Pirates II, and goodness help me it was the best sequel EVER! *Squeals* I just love the ending, so glad one of my favorite characters is going to be in the 3rd.

You've just made me want to see it even more! I haven't seen it yet, but I really want to. My family doesn't want to see it, but, we'll see what happens. (I think I overused the word "see." Sea! :P )

But I really just wanted to go just to be with my dad, I don't get to spend a lot of time with him. :(

Aww, I feel so sorry for you. :( Maybe you could arrange a special night out with your dad. Just the two of you. :)

  3. I'm listening to Belly of the Whale, from the credits of the Veggietales Jonah movie.

And I'm listening to the soundtrack as I read this! Funny...

If someone here has managed to keep awake a whole night, I'd appreciate your feelings and thoughts on it. My brother was too tired to talk about it.

As far as I remember, I've only stayed up an entire night once. I think I was eight, and we were traveling from Colorado to New York by train, and we were waiting for a train at one of the train stations (I forgot where). The train was supposed to be at the station at 10:00 PM, but it was extremely late. My sisters slept on the bench while we waited, but I couldn't sleep. So we waited... then at around 11:30, my dad and I went to the gift shop to bust our boredom, and I got a plastic snake thing to play with while we waited. at around midnight, the train still wasn't there and I was hungry. My mom said if the train wasn't there by 1:00 we could get something to eat at the food court. Sure enough, that happened. I think I had some fries and a soda. The rest I don't remember completely, but sometime later in the morning the train fanally arrived! When I was on the train, I slept till we got to our next stop.

So, I was up all night waiting for a train. I wasn't exsactly miserable. I just thought it was a neat experience. Plus I got to stay up all night! Though later, I couldn't stay awake!

  4. Would you mind telling how you do that gradient-style shading? Please? Nobody will tell me.

Of course! But just so you know, things will be explained asuming you use Photoshop. ;) Anyway, I just color each part a basic color I want, then I use the "burn" tool to darken areas, and the "dodge" tool to lighten areas.

Hey, you like all the bands and singers I like. TobyMac, RelientK, Newsboys (listenin' to them now), Chris Rice, Weird Al, Apologetix, Switchfoot, Jump5... Must...stop...

    Awsome!

You think you could add some space beneath that scroll menu. It may be just me, but I'm kind of uncomfortable about having to read something when I'm not able to move it to the center of my screen.

Yeah, I'm working on that. I'm going to get rid of the small scroll area. I just need to change a few things on each page to do that. But don't worry, It'll be fixed!

I really like your banner, though. You did a good job cutting out your character, and I like that shadow you gave him. How did you do that?

I just copied him, made the copy darker, blured it a little, moved the copy under the original, diplaced it a little, gave it 25% transparency, and there you go! A shadow! It's a lot simpler than it sounds though. :P

  5. Yeah, it's the best! Even though my siblings still barge into my room. Or more recently, come in, turn off the lights, turn on my black light and start a party while I'm in the middle of typing this. <_< Things get pretty random here.

Fourteen, by Hawk Nelson? I don't think I've heard of it. How do the lyrics go?

There's not that many lyrics in the song, it's mostly going "Oooooh" to the tune. :P It's pretty slow but I love that tune. It's pretty much played by piano, though there's this one guitar solo that I figured out how to play. You can listen to a sample of the song here. ^_^

  6. What kind of guitar do you play? Normal guitar? (I'm so technical. )

I usually play my electric guitar, but my sister has an acoustic (or normal) one that I use from time to time. ^_^

Today was marshmallow fluff day. That means my family had fluffernutters for lunch, which are about the best kind of sandwich ever. (I eat the fluff off the knife.)

My sister overloads her fluffernutters with fluff. :P I don't usually eat that kind of sandwich, but my sisters love fluffernutters.

  7. ...I don't think there are too many other homeschoolers on here, though.

    I'm homeschooled! :D

Instruments are a lot of fun, except when you're halfway through a song and realize you've got your fingers on the wrong keys. :annoyed2:

    Any other instrument-players out there?

I play the guitar and piano-type insruments. I'm not exactly a professional, I just play for fun! :P And I know exactly what you mean about that wrong key thing.

As for your comedy, that's .... original. But it made me laugh! And since that's the point of a comedy, I think it's pretty good!

Oh, and did you draw the LarryBoy in your profile pic? That's realy good!

  8. That bread thing is totaly ridiculous.

    1. So are the ones who stop them.

    2. I'm pretty sure even the above average children eat bread.

    3. In the 18th century, there weren't exsactly health facilities called hospitals.

    4. Like anyone would know that.

    5. But we don't suffocate! And they spelled Moose wrong!

    6. Like that could even be proven.

    7. Well you can't just drink water for the rest of your life.

    8. Butter, jelly and peanut butter are not hard foods. And all nuts are cold.

    9. Bread gets digested, it doesn't become part of your bodily substance.

    10. Duh!

    11. That makes absolutely no sense. Bread is cooled afterwards. And it's not like someone's going to jump into an oven at that temperature.

    12. If this was true, then apparently, this person must have eaten bread. :P

Did you actually get this in your inbox?

    :a: :m:

  11. Thanks for telling me about that other translator! I only new about the Dictionary.com one. Well I tried it, but the translation's the same. I think that's the word meaning the curly metal type of spring. :P Though I assume there would be one symbol represtenting the season. Oh well, I'll keep looking.

And I'm glad you like them! :)
