  1. I told you all a conspiracy was going on. It's always the outspoken players who dies first.
  2. They wanted a scapegoat. That's why they singled out Ghidora alone because there was a Mafian in the midst. Going for a triple kill would be a Pyrrhic victory for them.
  3. I knew it. I knew that Ghidora was innocent from the start, but you lot *ahemmafiansahem* had to pick him off and ruin the triple hang.

    A Typical Game

Just another typical day playing Halo with Axilus
  5. After failing to defeat Belial several times in Overclocked, I moved onto Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker yesterday.
  6. Listen to a dead man's wish. Triple hang them.
  7. It has already been done. We can't turn back now.

    Analysis Part 3

After being dead for a week, I'm finally back from the morgue to post this. Strangely, out of all the sets, only the Bionicles were heavily in pieces . I couldn't get the best shots of the heavy amount of dust on the figures, but this'll have to suffice. Let's start off with the Toa Mata. The only guy I'm missing now is Kopaka, but on the flip side, I got another Gali and Tahu. A lone Kohrak with a Krana Su. With the exception of Onewa, I have all the Turagas. On a side note, Nuju is missing his head and mask, so I had to improvise. Strangely, most of the rubberbands for these sets dried out, giving them a clay-like hardness. In the end, I had to replace most of the rubberbands with generic bands. Next off are Nuhvok Va and Lehvak Va. Nuhvok is missing its Krana while Lehvak came with a Ja. Nothing new with the Toa Nuva here since I already have Lewa, Gali, and Kopaka. Although I did get Pohatu's mask. May his spirit be with us. And finally the Voya Nui Matorans. I ended up with two Piruks, not that I'm complaining. Has anyone else noticed that the Raus are comically oversized for the users's head? And this finally does it for the analysis. I might do more showcasings (they certainly weren't analysis or reviews) whenever I'm able to get a bulk load of Bionicles for a cheap price.

    Analysis Part 1

He said something about a "Slizer". I wonder if he means old Throwbot. I'm more familiar with the European name, so that's why I stick with "Slizer." In other words, Europeans calls them "Slizers" while "Throwbots" are the NA version.
  10. Well this is a nice surprise. I'm still alive.

    Delay

I cannot post the Bionicle analysis today because of work. It's definitely going to be posted tomorrow though.

    Analysis Part 2

This is Part 2 of 3 of the analysis. The Bonkles you all have been waiting for, I presume, will be covered tomorrow. Today I'm going to be covering another Technic series that came in my order: RoboRiders Onyx Onxy in the dark Swamp Lava Frost Dust Power Like all the other sets, these too are chock full of dust. Enough dust to make my fingers dry and crack. Strangely, only Dust and Onyx have Slizer heads. Unlike the Bionicles and Slizers in the box, all of the RoboRiders were fully pieced together according to their manuals. Just like the Slizers, I ended up getting a good portion of this series's sets. I will analyze tomorrow sets, for real this time.

    Analysis Part 1

I recently won a bidding war on eBay for a "HUGE Lot Of 30+ Lego Technic Bionicles Plus Extra Parts, Masks, Cases, Etc." that costed me a whopping $38.44 for the total cost of the bid and shipping alone. My initial thought before entering the bid was "I only see 27 figures. Is someone pulling my leg?" From the picture alone, I was getting 27 figures, 8 containers, and a heap of spare parts. So I though to myself "Screw it. Let's bid on it." $39 for all of that seemed like a great deal, excluding the empty containers. The package arrived on my door a few days after the bid. The UPS guy didn't bother to ring or knock, leaving the package to soak up the rain on my front doorstep. I carried the wet box to my kitchen and opened it up. On closer inspection, there were actually 35+ figures (the extra parts actually belonged to a few smaller sets). Remember the 8 empty containers in the background? Turns out they weren't actually empty. Each one contained a built Slizer/Throwbot with a few disks and spare parts. Upon further analysis, every single figure was dusty and had extremely stiff ball joints. Whoever owned these guys must've built them and thrown them on a shelf for some time. Seriously though, the ball joints produce a horrible squeaky noise whenever I try to pose a set. Enough of this chatter. You came here to see what I got right? You all obviously came here to see one of the precursors of Bionicle: Slizers! Sorry for the lousy quality of the images and the lack of a white background, but not everyone in this economy can afford a white background and a good camera. And I'm not tech savvy enough to resize images to have them be shown here. Blaster/Blaster Slizer* Spark/Spark Slizer* *Only Spark and Blaster didn't come with containers Jet/Judge Slizer Electro/Energy Slizer Flare/Flare Slizer Granite/Rock Slizer Scuba/Sub Slizer Amazon/Jungle Slizer Torch/Fire Slizer Ski/Ice Slizer Disks (Including the one from Blaster's torso)** **Even further inspection shows that (counting from left to right) disk 3, 7, 11, and 14 glow in the dark Very few of the sets were missing parts (are disks considered as parts?), but all of them were in perfect condition. They all, however, had oddly bent disk thrower arms. Each figure had a somewhat weird and disturbing face. The 90s were scary. The only Slizer that I did not get is Turbo/City Slizer, but I do have its disk though. Weird. The fact that I'm missing a set doesn't concern me too much because I basically got a majority of the Slizer sets without even trying. This wasn't much of an analysis other than a showcase, but I'll be covering the Roboriders tomorrow in Part 2.

    Blog Q&A

Of course. Why wouldn't you be able to? Takuma Nuva I figured it would be a bit weird posting something like that here.

    Blog Q&A

Is it all right if I posted some Bionicle/Technic figures review/unboxing that I got from eBay?
  16. For now, I'm only voting Hawk
