An image flashed for a moment - a sandy landscape, a dirt road, a few huts, and then nothing. He opened his eyes and shook his head.Iraanus was unsure of how to answer, not wanting to reveal the details of his memory loss. "I was...wondering which part of the island you knew best. Could be good to know."

IC: JothamJotham had been silently watching the exchange with folded arms. Now, however, he spoke up. "The Rahkshi must be found - of that, there can be no question. You know how powerful those things are; we can't just let them run loose. Not to mention that they haven't been seen for a century. The fact that they show up now means the Makuta is up to something. Whatever it is, he has to be stopped."Jotham slowly shifted his gaze from Toa to Toa. He was tired of these Ko-Koronans and their decidedly arrogant personalities. It was time to get something done.OOC: Seriously, every Ko-Koronan Jotham's met has abruptly ended the conversation, causing rapidly increasing boredom and annoyance.

Logged on and had three notifications - none of them were from this topic, which is the first time that's happened since I subscribed to this topic.Anyway, an assassination will be taking place shortly in Le-Koro.

As the water began to carry the pair of Skakdi to the base of the tree, he cautiously began to probe the other Skakdi about her past, hoping that she might know something about his home. "So where are you from, if not here?"

Planning to have my new evil character assassinate an NPC in Le-Koro. Should I kill him secretly, or have him fall over dead in a public place?

IC: IraanusIraanus nodded, satisfied. Silently, he reached out with his elemental power, attempting to get an idea of the size of the body of water.The lake was enormous, far larger than he had expected - he was unable to sense an end to the water. As far as he could tell, the lake was vaguely crescent-shaped, and the koro had been built on one of the crescent's tips. Gazing into the darkness, he was able to see the dim outlines of several immense trees, illuminated partially by several lightstones affixed to mechanisms dangling from the upper boughs of the mammoth plants. The scene was oddly beautiful.He could scarcely make out a series of enormous lily pads leading to the base of the largest tree. Raising his hand, Iraanus wordlessly directed the water of the lake to pull one of these plants to the shore. Stepping to the side, he gestured for Rhow to step onto the lily pad's broad leaves.OOC: One of my better posts.

Haven't read any of the books, but I'm planning on doing so soon. I have a friend who hates reading but loves these books, so I figure they must be decent.

I only have one Matoran character, and I'm admittedly not that great at RPing (yet), so I probably don't stand a chance, but I'll probably enter anyway.Also, if anyone anywhere needs any kind of interaction, please let me know. I really need to get Barük (who will eventually become Gluttony) started; I feel like I'm holding up the other Daedra members. (Sorry guys).

IC: JothamJotham rolled his eyes. Told me to stay behind as lookout, huh. Lookout, what good would that do? The Rahkshi is obviously a good ways away; I wouldn't have been able to see it anyway. And if I had, so what?He drew one of his daggers and began to examine it.Of course, we should be attacking the Rahkshi, but for what purpose? For a school lesson? What happened to destroying the servants of the Makuta, eh? Not to mention that these things are unspeakably powerful - 'What doesn't kill you will make you stronger,' she says, but what if it does kill you?

Glad to see Stannis' Companions is moving again.

IC: Iraanus"Agreed." He took out his map, but quickly found that he was unable to read it in the fading light. As he gathered the two pieces of his broken spear, he explained, "I haven't been in this area before. Do you know the way to the koro from here?"

IC: JothamJotham rolled his eyes. Keep watch? Like karz. Activating his Kakama, he crossed the narrow stone bridge in two strides and sprinted off after the Ga-Toa and the Onu-Toa who had joined her. The landscape faded to a blur as he contemplated the situation. That was a Rahkshi, no question. Power Scream, I'd say. Others? Probably. Why? Well, that's the question, isn't it.Jotham quickly caught up with the pair of Toa, finding that they had been joined by a few others. He came to a halt without a word.

Well, even though EW's character has the tablet, he received it from the Nuju-controlled Whenua as part of the staff plot, so...

If someone has an evil character they want tracked down, please PM me; I need some way to get a new good character started.I also have a lazy, semi-exiled Toa of Gravity who needs a way to get started, so let me know if you want to interact with him.Also, I again remind Stannis' Companions members that we should get moving.

IC: JothamJotham narrowed his eyes. The Ga-Toa was obviously aware of his presence, yet didn't respond. Either she's really intent on her training, or she's trying to make a show of ignoring me. Or both. Jotham extended his arm toward the shore, concentrating now specifically on the rocks beneath the Ga-Toa. The rocks ceased to vibrate for a few moments as he built up power in them and then-An unearthly scream broke Jotham's concentration. The pebbles exploded upward as he spun around toward the source of the noise. It had come from the southeast somewhere. He scanned the horizon in that direction - despite the sound's volume, Jotham was sure it had come from a considerable distance off.

IC: Iraanus"Aye," Iraanus agreed. He looked around the clearing. Night was falling; the last golden rays of sunlight were rapidly fading. "We should-"He whirled around as he heard the rush of air caused by KuAnLo's rock. He didn't see anything, but...Iraanus drew the Rahkshi of Shapeshifting's staff warily, ready for another fight if need be.

Finally finished reading up on what I missed overnight. Only took me forty-five minutes.I'm guessing the Rahkshi were looking for the tablet that Whenua gave to Stannis. Two reasons for this: One, "On the wall were more inscriptions...Almost no beings alive would have recognized this writing." The tablet given to Stannis was covered with writing in an unknown language. Two, "It appeared to be what the Rahkshi had been looking for. But for one feature." The Rahkshi were evidently looking for a tablet of some sort.

OOC: Sorry I couldn't participate much in that fight. I had to eat supper just after it started.IC: Iraanus"Of course." Iraanus sat up, shaking his head. The creature's strength had taken him by surprise. Standing, he examined Rhow. The Skakdi was bleeding profusely in several places and appeared to have taken considerable damage to her spine as well. Iraanus had fared much better, coming out with only a few bruises and a broken spear - for whatever reason, the creature had seemed determined to attack Rhow and had mostly ignored him when he hadn't attacked directly.Iraanus looked around warily, concerned that the creature would attack again. "What was that thing, do you think?"

OOC: Impact vision broke a Rahkshi's arm in one hit, but whatever.IC: IraanusIraanus swore as the creature broke his spear. He got to his feet and quickly loaded an acid zamor and fired it at KuAnLo. He concentrated and felt power course through him as he drew on his strength and that of Rhow. There was a low rumbling sound, and a geyser burst up out of the earth directly beneath KuAnLo.

IC: IraanusEven before the creature landed, Iraanus was in full-on battle mode. Unleashing two rapid bursts of impact vision at each of the thing's arms, he sprinted toward it and lunged at it with his spear.OOC: I'm imagining Iraanus as being behind KuAnLo at the moment.

Yes, there are three defeated Rahkshi (Accuracy, Insect Control, and Shapeshifting) in a clearing in Le-Wahi. All of their staves and some of their armor has been taken. If you go there, you should be aware that there are currently two Skakdi (Iraanus and Rhow) there as well. Not sure where the defeated one from Po is.I'd like to advise all Stannis' Companions members to regroup in Onu-Koro so we can get moving to Ko.
