IC: JothamJotham flipped his sword around in an arc several times before suddenly lunging forward in an uppercut that would have likely harmed an opponent rather severely had he been in battle. He spun around into another attack-Suddenly he froze. Something was wrong, though he wasn't sure what it might be. Jotham lowered his blade and scanned his surroundings. The pristine beauty of the lake remained unchanged. The two Water Toa had finished their training on the opposite shore, but that was no cause for alarm. Then it hit him - he was surrounded by the sound of rushing water when moments ago the scene had been perfectly silent. He looked down over the edge of the pillar. The water at its base was a roiling mass of foam and spray, and a tendril of the liquid was spiraling up around the column.Jotham's initial reaction was one of panic. After all, water and stone didn't - couldn't - mix. Then he relaxed. The water was still less than halfway up the pillar. He could easily get back to the cliff before it reached the top. But first... Jotham again scanned the nearby shore. This can't be natural...there. A Ga-Toa was training on the lake's rocky beach, and the tendril of water was spiraling upward in concurrence with the her movements. He contemplated what to do. Go down and talk? Nah, what would I say, anyway? 'Hey, would you mind not using my pillar to practice with your element?' Yeah, right. Maybe I could...hmm. An idea forming in his mind, Jotham concentrated on the pebbles of the shore, which began to vibrate.

IC: IraanusIraanus carefully inspected his newly-fixed zamor launcher. He repeated the process of emptying a zamor of its acid and loaded the hollow sphere into the weapon as the liquid sizzled on the ground, instantly killing any plant growth it fell upon. As he did this, Iraanus responded to Rhow's question. "I'm headed for Le-Koro. Need to deliver a mask."He fired the launcher, and this time the empty zamor flew perfectly across the clearing, striking a tree and shattering with a soft crash. Satisfied, he put the weapon away and turned to the other Skakdi. "How about you?" As he spoke, he began to mentally reach out to his surroundings, feeling the water in the plants and the earth.

I am now incredibly afraid and incredibly glad that I don't have any characters at the hospital.

So from what I gather, Hiemalis has somehow tortured Wraith and is now doing something at the Ta-Koro hospital? Is that accurate?

Actually, I believe it is a glitch - if you watch the last video (scene 16), you can see that DB easily makes the jump nearly every time, but Onua simply dies upon landing on the platform.

Xemnas: Stannis' conversation with Whenua ended in Whenua entrusting him with a tablet given to him by Taipu before he disappeared. The tablet was inscribed with mysterious symbols, which the Turaga believed to be the written form of the bird language spoken by Turaga Nuju. Thus, Stannis' companions must now travel to Ko-Koro to meet with Nuju.

IC: IraanusIraanus was slightly wary of allowing the other Skakdi to attempt to fix the weapon, judging by the way she handled the device. Still, he figured that it couldn't wind up much worse than it already was, not to mention that he had no idea how he would go about repairing an internal alignment panel."That's awfully fortunate," Iraanus replied. He paused, but Rhow did not respond. Iraanus blinked. "Well, would you mind fixing it, then?"

Xemnas: Doubtful, seeing as the Marines are still active IC, plus Macku's clue has already been found. I'm hoping for Ko-Wahi, since Jotham's there and Iraanus is headed there. It's certainly a possibility, seeing as the next step in the search for Taipu will take place in Ko-Koro.Of course, that's assuming that the Rahkshi are after the clues. Maybe they'll go somewhere else and Henuai will go to Ko alone.

OOC: I'm gonna PM Nuju to see if he has any intention of finishing the conversation, or if we should just leave. EDIT: Yep, it's the latter.IC: LekuaLekua narrowed his eyes in thought. The Onu-Matoran knew more than he was telling, Lekua was sure. But it seemed unlikely that he would relinquish the information, and even if he did, Lekua wasn't certain he wanted the stranger to hear, anyway. The stranger...Lekua's gaze fell upon the Toa of Sonics. The being was entirely gray, not a speck of color on him - except for his eyes, which were a bright, sickly yellow. Unnatural, that one.Onepu shook his head. "I'm sorry, my friends. I wish I could help you, but that is truly all I know."Lekua stared at the Onu-Matoran for a few more seconds, then shrugged. "Very well. Much-thank you for your time, at least." He shook the Ussalry captain's hand, and with that the five Matoran exited the hut."Well, that was exciting-productive," he remarked. "Hopefully Stannis had more happy-luck. Should we look for him first, or try to search-find Atiel and Lepidran?"OOC: This would be a good time for Lepidran and Atiel to randomly run into the group, just to speed things along.

IC: JothamStanding on the column, Jotham turned toward the far shore of the lake, where he could still see Naara and Amalod. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Slowly, Jotham's mind began to clear. Opening his eyes, he drew his sword. Holding the blade upright in front of him, slowly lowered the blade until it was pointed horizontally away from him.

IC: IraanusIraanus turned as one of the beings he had seen examining Kapura's remains approached him. He suddenly registered that she was a Skakdi, silently berating himself for not having realized that sooner. He briefly studied the Skakdi's appearance. Judging by her armor, she was either water or plantlife, probably the former. Hmm..."I suppose you could say that," he replied. Shaking the launcher, he allowed the glass of the shattered sphere to fall into his hand. "You wouldn't happen to know of anyone who could fix something like this, would you?"

IC: JothamJotham stood up. Glancing around, he reaffirmed that he was alone. Turning to the newly created column of rock, he concentrated on its top and the edge of the cliff. Slowly, a bridge of stone began to grow out of the cliff and out of the pillar, the two protrusions eventually meeting in the middle. Jotham stepped cautiously onto the bridge, glancing uneasily at the water below. Continuing forward, he came to the pillar only to discover that it was not quite wide enough for him to comfortably stand on. Calling upon his power of stone, he expanded the top of the column and stepped onto it.

OOC: @Pein: Thanks.IC: JothamJotham decided to practice using his elemental powers. Looking out on the lake, he concentrated on a certain point about ten bio away from the cliff. Slowly, a column of stone rose out of the water. Jotham paused, his breathing slightly heavy from the effort. Then he concentrated on the newly created pillar, and it began to twist itself around into a spiral. Several portions of the rock broke off and crashed into the water, and soon the column appeared to be a completely natural formation. Why had he created the pillar? Jotham had no idea. But it gave him satisfaction to see what he was able to do.

IC: JothamUsing the power of his Kakama, Jotham continued to sprint around to the opposite side of the lake. The body of water was far larger than he had initially realized. Gradually, he noticed that his elevation was increasing, and he presently found himself atop a cliff rising above the surface of the lake. Sitting down, he altered the formation of the stone slightly and relaxed comfortably into a reclining position. He looked out across the lake at this region frozen in perpetual winter. It was quite beautiful, actually.OOC: Open for interaction. The lake is a short distance away from the academy, if you're interested.

OOC: Seeing as Havon has left Kapura's remains, I'm just gonna finish up that scene and move on.IC: IraanusNeither Rhow or Havon had an answer for that question. Kapura... Iraanus would have to find out more about this Matoran.For the meantime, however, he had other things on his mind. Like his zamor launcher - was it still functional? Iraanus climbed out of the pit. He pulled a zamor out - acid. Carefully, he removed a small tool clipped to his launcher and used it to create a small hole in the glass of the sphere. Iraanus then poured the acid onto the ground - no sense melting something if the launcher was damaged - and loaded the empty glass sphere into his launcher. He took aim at a tree across the clearing and fired. Or tried to - there was a sound of shattering glass as shards of the zamor broke into a thousand pieces inside the launcher. Might have to get that fixed.OOC: Anyone who's still left after the battle, feel free to interact.EDIT: @above: lol.

Iraanus has a Rakshi staff now. Now to learn how to use a double-bladed weapon...Currently waiting on Snelly to get a response from Nuju regarding Kapura's mask.Now I have to see what's been going on in Onu-Koro the past two days...EDIT: Hmm, surprisingly little. I suppose Nuju was too busy with the Rahkshi stuff to respond to inquiries about Taipu.
