  1. I originally posted this topic just before the forums went offline. Didn't get any comments, though... ----- ----- Anyway, I didn't intend to build Nuparu; this was originally just an orange and black Toa. I figured I'd just call him Nuparu since he's got Nuparu's '01 color scheme and I'm terrible at thinking of names for MOCs. Besides, I'd always intended to sooner or later build the Inika/Mahri with their '01 colors. ----- Front Back Arm Pose Thoughts?
  2. So there's a maximum filesize, but no maximum dimensions? Okay, thanks.
  3. Before the forum upgrade, the maximum avatar size was 64x64. However, after the upgrade, images smaller than 200x200 won't work properly. What is the new maximum avatar size? Thanks.
  4. That's really cool. I always like small MOCs and MOCs of Pokemon - this is both! One thing, though - this should probably be in LEGO-based creations rather than Bionicle-based creations. Pretty much all of the pieces in this have featured prominently in Bionicle sets, so I'm going to let this stay here. -Smeag
  5. Minish Cap is my second favorite Zelda, right after Majora's Mask. I'm working on Zelda II right now, and I've started Zelda 1. Zelda II is fun, but Zelda 1 is definitely my least favorite Zelda. It's incredibly frustrating to wander aimlessly for hours until you find the next dungeon. And those occasional screens that keep resetting until you leave in a certain direction don't help matters. And don't even get me started on how difficult it is to use the sword... Indeed it does. The Double Clawshot was the coolest item in TP. I wonder if there's the single Clawshot like in TP or if you get the Double right away...I'm hoping for the latter, but the former is probably more likely. Well, we'll find out in 35 days, 18 hours, and 28 minutes!
  6. I, too, cannot wait for Skyward Sword. Speaking of SS, I'd like to request that everyone use spoilers when talking about the details of the game, as there are some who want to find out everything for themselves. Anyway, right now I'm playing Majora's Mask (currently at Stone Tower Temple) and Zelda II (currently working on both Island and Maze Island Palaces). I'm enjoying both, though Zelda II is pretty sadistically difficult. Those Iron Knuckles are insanely tough, especially the blue ones. Next up are A Link to the Past (after MM) and Zelda 1 (after Zelda II).
  7. My, my, it has been a while. It's good to be back!
  8. Exactly how much proto does one get for purchasing premier membership?
  9. So, when I changed my avatar/profile picture, the profile picture looks normal while the avatar has black lines at the left and right. How can I fix this? Thanks.
  10. Yeah, it seems to me that the glare is even worse on the 3DS than it was on the DS.
  11. I haven't played much Pokemon lately. I bred some Zoruas with Snarl using the TRU Zoroark, but that's about it.
  12. If you simply start the game normally, the game will be blown up to fit the larger screen. If you hold select while starting the game, however, the game will be sized down to the size of the smaller DS screen. Anyway, the reason the 3DS hasn't been doing as well as Nintendo hoped is probably because there aren't any great games for it yet. Sure, there's Ocarina of Time 3D and Star Fox 64 3D, but that's about it so far. Sales will definitely pick up once Super Mario 3D Land is released. Also, I don't really like the 3D effect. It hurts my eyes very quickly, and it's nearly impossible to use while in a car, which is when I normally use my 3DS. I usually just play with it turned off or at a very low setting.
  13. These are brilliant, but unfortunately there's too many to review fully! I think my favorite is Gali. I like how you combined different aspects from all three versions of Gali and made something awesome out of one of the worst Bionicle sets ever. I don't really see anything that could be improved here, the build and color scheme are both spot-on. I also like Vearl, due in no small part to the awesome color scheme. Black, orange, and teal doesn't sound great on paper, but you made it work, and work amazingly well. One small thing, though - the legs, particularly the upper legs, look disproportionate. If that were fixed, this MOC would be nearly perfect. And Obscurum Time Paradox just looks extremely cool. That's the kind of MOC we all want to build, but so few of us have the patience and ingenuity to pull it off.
