  1. Thanks for the reviews, guys. I'm really proud of the legs, they're probably the best custom legs I've built. As for the hands, I didn't have any mata red glatorian hands when I built this, and I hadn't invented my awesome custom hand design [/shameless self-promotion] at that point, but I'll try both now. Thanks for the suggestion.
  2. I agree that the horns look cool, and the way you attached them is cool. However, there are some things that could be improved. First, the color scheme - the pearl gold and keetorange look okay together, but it could've been improved by using a more contrasting color. If you want to stick with this color scheme, you should probably add more pearl gold, specifically to the legs and forearms. Also, the dark gold mask kind of throws things off, plus the Vahi exposes the dark grey of the head (though that can't be helped). The color of the wings also looks slightly out of place - it would look better if you built some custom wings using keetorange and pearl gold. Overall, the build is extremely generic - you used the Inika build and didn't even add any embellishments to it other than the wings, which are pulled straight from Hahli Mahri. In my experience, adding a single custom element to a MOC improves it instantly. If you aren't sure how to make something like that, I'm sure that plenty of the experienced MOCists on BZP (myself included) would be glad to help you out.One thing I really like, though, is the sword, though I'd say it's more of a staff than a sword. It's well-built, complex, and very cool-looking. I like how you used the silver tubing on the handle, as well.Overall, this looks pretty good, but would be greatly improved by adding some custom elements.
  3. IC: LekuaLekua woke up early the next morning. Well, I guess it's time, he thought. He pulled the two scrolls of parchment out of his pouch. The first he glanced at and carefully replaced. The second he read:Until further notice is given by Turaga Matau, the Matoran Lekua, as well as the Kahu Cyclone, shall be temporarily relieved of their duties as members of the Gukko Force. At the bottom of the document was Matau's signature. Lekua signed his name below it, and then ate a quick breakfast, gathered his few belongings, and exited his hut. Locking the door, he made his way to the Gukko Force headquarters. He presented the notice to the only Force member on duty with instructions to give it to the head of the Force. He walked to the edge of the main platform of Le-Koro and was about to play a few notes on his flute when he realized that he had no idea where he was going. The Po-Matoran that went gone-missing...he was part of the Chronicler's Company-group, wasn't he? So this Matoran-group must've been in Po-Koro recently-soon. If they're not still there, at least someone would've seen-spotted them and have a bright-idea of where they've quick-gone...He contemplated this for a few minutes. He decided that it made sense, and he had nowhere else to start looking. He summoned Cyclone and together they set off for Po-Koro.OOC: Lekua to Po-Wahi.
  4. So this is where things get interesting, huh? Can't wait to see what EW comes up with.Should have more time to play now that it's the weekend.
  5. Sounds interesting. I'm thinking about making an Onu- or Ba-Matoran character, in which case I'd definitely join.
  6. IC: JothamJotham shrugged. "That's fine with me," he replied. "It'd do us all good to get out of this cold." And with that, he set off down the street.
  7. Well, yes, if MM3D were made it would likely be made by Grezzo, but it was never confirmed that MM3D would be made at all.
  8. IC: LekuaHigh above, Lekua watched as the leader of the bat-things arrived on the beach and quickly began to fight with one of his followers. Interesting, he thought, as the second bat-thing turned away and stalked off into the jungle. But it appeared as though the threat of the bat-things was over, at least for now. As dusk quickly fell, he pulled Cyclone around and flew back towards Le-Koro.
  9. Huh, cool. Never noticed that. If you're that interested in getting one, though, there's four for sale on Bricklink right now.
  10. IC: Jotham"That's fine with me," Jotham replied, shrugging. "I suppose we should head up the main street. If it's not there, there should at least be someone who knows where it is."
  11. All right, a Proto boost! Thanks, Black Six!

  12. Changing the subject a bit, anyone seen the new Hyrule Historia scans? I've been looking at the concept art. Some of it looks pretty cool.EDIT: Some amazing artwork from the book (minor SS spoilers).
  13. IC: Jotham"Yes, evidently, there's an academy of sorts being built here, to 'improve students' skills and knowledge'," Jotham replied. "I'm not sure where exactly it is, though."
  14. IC: LekuaLekua smiled as the bat-thing retreated. He was slightly surprised when it made no attempt to conceal it's path, which appeared to be towards the beach. Perhaps if I follow it it will lead me to its deep-lair, he thought. Lekua signaled to Cyclone, and the Kahu climbed higher and began a wide loop that would bring them to the beach in a less-direct path. When they reached the beach, they were high enough that the bat-things looked like little more than four black dots, but there could be no doubt as to who they were. Of course, if they see me, they will quick-think I'm just another seabird.
  15. Well, I choose an image to upload and it appears in the upload section like this, but once it finishes uploading the avatar changes to the "invalid image" symbol like this.
  16. IC: LekuaLekua glanced over at the commotion in the Koro. He laughed as he saw the leader of the bat-things hanging upside-down, entangled in a net. "Looks like you bad-lost, bat-thing," Lekua said to Laz. "Would you like to ever-flee now, or do you want something bad-worse to happen to you than did to him?"
  17. IC: Jotham"I was planning to enroll at the new school being built here, at least for the time being," Jotham replied. "Possibly some mercenary work as well, if I have time and need the money."
  18. IC: LekuaLekua easily directed Cyclone over the wall of crystal the bat-thing had created. He did not return to his former path, however, and continued to gain altitude.
  19. I'm having trouble using a custom profile image (I'd like to use the same one as I have here). Any advice?
  20. Are characters who begin as Toa but know they used to be Matoran allowed?
  21. IC: LekuaLekua slowed his approach as the bat-thing noticed him. Don't want to make the same bad-mistake as last time. He tugged Cyclone's reigns, bringing the Kahu to the right to begin circling Laz, waiting for the bat-thing to make the first move.
  22. IC: Jotham"Jotham," said Jotham. "Well, I should probably be going. I'll be sure to let you know if I find out anything about your 'charms.'"
  23. IC: LekuaLekua landed in a crouch, his body absorbing the impact. Above him, the bat-thing who had caused his fall flew off, forced to retreat by Mawl and Xavier. There was still one more bat-thing left in the sky, though. Time for me to do something. Calling Cyclone once again, he took off towards Laz.
  24. OOC: Thanks, Kalama. IC: LekuaThe bat-thing dropped the Madu before Lekua could react, and Lekua found himself trapped in a cyclone. Rather ironic, he thought. More so considering that I usually like irony. He weighed his options as Cyclone spun out of control. The bat-thing could probably keep this up for a while, or at least until someone else distracted him. But Lekua hated waiting and relying on others. He jumped from Cyclone's back, plummeting towards Le-Koro.
