  1. I once made my own Jetrax T6. It had a slightly drab colour scheme, and a very messy...thing to replace the front piece on one engine; otherwise, it worked splendidly! I also used to make my own versions of upcoming Bionicle sets to decide which ones to buy; did it with the '03 Matoran, Toa Mahri, Glatorians, and so on. Good times. Curiously, I never really did it with System or Technic. =)
  2. That is awesome. I really love the headdress and the feet, which harken back to those old feet. Gotta love Onepu! My suspicions were confirmed! I'm so happy that they aren't going to be utterly useless to MOCists. =)
  3. The vacancy left by crushed hopes when you realize that there's a whole week to go before fall break... :'(

  4. For the symmetry, I'm buying Tahu. He was my first Bionicle set ever. Then I'm getting Gali. Then I'll get the rest. =)
  5. The little changes aren't much agreeing with the mobile browser, and the red YouTube button is rather jarring against the cool blue header, but I trust this is only one faulty step towards a better front page? I'm probably going to get super nostalgic about the old front page though. I hope you guys outdo yourselves in the design and layout to come up with the best blend of new and old, and a prime balance of aesthetic vs functionality. Looking forward to this future event. =)
  6. Nice to see a fellow appreciator of Star Trek and 60's pop culture! And Doctor Who, to boot. You have good taste. Oh, where have you been all these years? I might say the same to you! =)
  7. I think you'd better go boot shopping. XD Only now do I realize how freaking excited I am. And I wonder what the NYCC thing is going to be now! Too much awesomeness and excitement! And I think Lego really needs to learn how to keep a secret. =)
  8. You'd better find it then! I like a lot of 60's sitcoms: My Favorite Martian, the Dick Van Dyke Show, The Monkees, Get Smart...(the list doesn't end there). I enjoy plenty ofother 60's shows, too. I very much enjoy the original Star Trek, and like Doctor Who in general (classic and modern, though I haven't proper explored the classic stuff yet). One that would be very high on my favourites list: Twin Peaks. Pure awesomeness. Then there's Monty Python's Flying Circus, Colgate Comedy Hour...lots of fun stuff! =)
  9. Episode 4 is great, trust me. One of my recent favourites for sure. Seriously freaking awesome. =)
  10. Funny thing, last night I had a dream in which Lego was making a big announcement about a new constraction line; though in the dream it was a Ben 10 reboot with a rather interesting design, and the sets were very satisfying and unique. This morning I checked BZP and was given some of the best news I've heard in ages! Does that mean my dreams kinda sorta have predictive powers? (Or maybe I was just thinking about my latest MOC). Anyhow. That mask looks pretty epic. Doesn't look too evil to me, but pretty powerful. I like the thought that it's the MoC, but I'll wait and see what they've got in store for us. Oh, and I know without any doubt where all that money I found is going (I hope they put a lot of effort into making the sets good, and stay clear of anything HF-ish). Never too old for Bionicle (or Lego)! I wonder how they're going to go about the story. Frankly, I'd be pretty happy with a reboot, though I think I'd prefer a time skip. Really, the main thing is that it has to be GOOD. An interesting story (but somewhat simpler, much tidier, than it became), with the same feel (though that changed over the years, I liked the whole thing). And Unity, Duty, Destiny, or something similar; nothing better than a toyline with virtues! =)
  11. Awesome! Love the design, it looks very cool and modern. I'm also interested in religious imagery and whatnot, so this is a treat! I also enjoyed the description. Looking forward to seeing the finished product (with a nice background)! =)
  12. I would love to voice act for some minor female role, but I'm probably not a very good voice actor. =)
  13. Not with Halo 2 it isn't But anyways I enjoyed this video, as previously stated though I liked the first one a lot better but oh well An amendment: that's pretty much always the case with sequels, isn't it. =)
  14. I think the first one was waaaaayyy funnier and better. Ah well, that's always the case with sequels, isn't it. =)
  15. =) Have you been peeking at those leaked scripts? Scripts? What scripts (and I say this very truthfully)? I haven't read any scripts. Hmmmmm... Maybe a future version of yourself will wear a malfunctioning Mohtrek, and so that's how you know... [Edit] Does anyone know if that first bit should be in spoiler tags? Or perhaps there's a TARDIS involved. I imagine spoiler tags wouldn't be too important for this. I prefer the previous version of the TARDIS interior; this one looks (to me) a bit tacky. And as for steampunk: =)

  17. Okay. I'll try again in a couple days. One thing I forgot to mention - basically the only con that comes to mind, is that I think it would look much better if it had one bright colour in it, maybe just the upper and lower torso (leaving the midsection grey), make it red, blue, maybe even white, etc. =)
  18. SPACESHIP! SPACESHIP! SPACESHIP!! I'm glad I'm not the only one gripped with the irresistible urge to build spaceships. You have done a fabulous job on this; I really like the old style, especially the grey wing pieces - they were so awesome! I love what you did with the tires, for the guns but especially in the rockets. They make it look so powerful. Also, kudos for fitting a pilot! Overall a fantastic MOC. I also find that its aesthetics match that of the Batman tumbler. =)
  19. It's so simple yet beautiful! I used to love making MOCs like this, but they never turned out as seamlessly as yours. The Ideas page says that I'm not allowed access, don't know if it's just me. =)
  20. Gravity Hurts is definitely my favourite. Runner up would be Closer to the Truth. =)
  21. I actually thought that they looked awesome, still do. The gaps are easily overlooked, and as for MOCing parts, I found them quite lucrative. The feet, arms, torso, shins, head, and weapons are, to me fine pieces. I also liked their gear functions, which don't hamper poseability as was the case with the Toa Mata and Metru, but are still great fun and look good. =)
  22. Seems like there aren't many Muse fans here! I wouldn't consider myself a fan, but I do like their music. I like different songs at different times; usually Uprising and Supermassive Black Hole (just the name itself is awesome) are present on my nonexistent favourites list. =)
  23. Whoa! I love the way he flows. It just works really well somehow, he's bulky but smooth, and very angry. =)
