  1. For those complaining about the practicality, my computer literally will not turn on unless it senses this transmitter within 10 feet. I spent all day on it and it pretty much a virtual deadmans switch I guess and if its removed from the computer it will damage the harddrive. For those saying "oh you could keep it on a lanyard" those can be stolen. This would literally have to be ripped out of my hand for someone to get on it. It doesn't make me invincible but it makes things much harder. And Lloyd: the White Wolf, theres no need to insult me. I'm not forcing my views on anyone.
  2. Lewa with Kopaka as a close second. Best ax evah.
  3. I decided that placing a bar code scanner into my hand was a stupid idea not worth half the pain. So instead I've placed an RFID in my hand that will act as a key that prevents my computer from logging on unless I'm present. This is a much needed extra level of protection that will be of much use if needed, which I pray it wont.Trans-humanism is the steam engine of the future. You can get on the train and enjoy the ride, get off the tracks and let it pass you by, but if you try to stop it it will crush you flat.
  4. @Pinkie PieMagnetic disk in my finger tips ala Lepht Anonym
  5. I'm thinking of a transdermal barcode reader that would hook up wirelessly to my smart phone and give me information. The only problem is transdermal implants are almost impossible to keep clean
  6. I have five more post then required, this is very inconvenient.
  7. I have vast knowledge in the fields I need; I know the autonomy of the human body, its functions and its failings and I have training in veterinarian surgery which honestly isn't too different from human surgery. Just because you don't know what you're doing doesn't give you right to assume I dont.
  8. @Taka Nuvia, I've already improved myself with this method. I am my own professional.
  9. Its not hard at all, they sell medical alcohol and I've already preformed some amateur surgeries on myself. infection is easy to prevent when you maintain and OCD level of cleanliness. Honestly I'd be more worried about the pain which you must experience because pain killers would dull your lucidity and prevent you from preforming the operation properly.
  10. Any grinders (DIY transhumanism) here? I'm thinking of putting an implant in my hand.
  11. I was abused as a child and it can really go either way. You can learn violence is wrong or learn how to be violent but it all depends on the person
  12. I don't think you understand the difference between hip hop and rap.
  13. The IQ test is reformatted to a four diget system. Everyone now has a four digit IQ and your intelligence remains average. I wish for a paying job/
  14. Because that is entirely different from every previous generation ever.Yup.that-was-the-sarcastic-point.jpg
  15. If you really want to turn things on people this topic shows just how bad the "current generation" is. They've never had a real job, had to pay bills and most of them aren't even in college but they apparently not only know their superior to their little brothers but they also think they know better then the parents.
  16. You've clearly never been struck by someone larger then you for something stupid. You and people who think like you are whats wrong with this earth.
  17. You see Blade Runner is a Noir film. Its dark, gritty and ugly. You're not meant to like anyone or root root for anyone. I very much enjoy this style but its not for everyone. Also give "Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep" a read
  18. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Awesome movie. Love me some cyberpunky neo-noir
  19. No. No one in this thread is old enough to complain about "those darn kids again". You're not old enough to complain until you have your own kids and they're going to university at least. You're not complaining about "the next generation" you're complaining out your little brother.Second; The primary influence on children is their family, all roads always lead back to the parents. Is a child overly violent because they play violent games? I guess they got they bought a 400 dollar rig and and fifty dollar game all by themselves and then played it in a secret base so there was no way they parents would know. If theres something wrong with a kid be it their behavior or social/poltical views its almost always the parents
