  1. Alright, so we have the most sane plan for Le-Koro established. Litozen will not be pleased. Oh well.
  2. But several Rahkshi types could render those tactics useless - shattering, vaccuum, disintegration, molecular disruption and gravity can all deal with throwing things.
  3. Agreed. It's more satisfying to land giant punches. But wait! The Boxors were made out of Bohrok because of the Bohrok, and correct me if I'm wrong but since the Toa Mata failed after Quests for the Masks, the Bohrok never came, which means no Boxors were made, or even worse never designed.
  4. plants, vines/ That sort of thing. It's more a visual barrier than anything.
  5. Fair point. =_= more and more I wish I'd just crossed Mt Ihu to go to Ta-Wahi instead of Le-Wahi.Although we have a Toa of Plantlife with us. Could he not create a natural barrier to keep us safe, or hollow out the Le-Koro trees?
  6. IC: Litozen The De-Toa felt impatient."If we're going to carry through with our tunnelling plan, I say we should start as soon as possible. There's no point in digging while they're attacking." He folded his arms and looked slightly pouty as he said it.
  7. Well, with any luck at least one person will die. You've got a Makuta-aligned Toa working as your Tunnel-Sonar after all.
  8. Not to mention the piles of corpses they've created by those who attempted to get close or were near the tunnel openings.
  9. I suppose that could work...except that Shadow Kraata can also remotely corrupt a kanohi. So you'll either be killed or be enslaved. Your choice.
  10. Logically, they'd dispose of Iron since they're the biggest threat, then either plasma or sonics since they are also capable of breaking them down. Either way with all 42 varieties there's a Rahkshi for everyone's demise.
  11. IC: Litozen He beamed. It was the exact opposite of his fear and would have potentially the most devastating effects were anything to go wrong. In a sense, he was in a good position. "Oh, yes. Right. Sorry, I was a bit caught up in some personal thoughts relating to the skies." He said, trying to shrug off the idea that he hadn't been listening. "I think we've all got a lot on our proverbial plates, so don't feel down if it seems like we're not paying full attention to you."
  12. ^ This. After all, if they couldn't take out Rahkshi with ease, then they wouldn't be much of a threat against Makuta armour either - and that's why most of them were killed in the official canon
  13. IC: LitozenThe De-Toa nodded, though he viably shuddered at the mention of the word 'Gukko' once more."You mean scanning for Rahkshi by using my sound abilities? I don't see why not. Although I must admit, I've not used my power for sonar purposes in a very long time." If he had had teeth, he would have been lying through them; in truth, he could use his sonar efficiently, but by saying that his skills weren't perfect he would have at least some cover for 'accidents'. "But where exactly do I need to be situated to use my abilities? You won't catch me near those...birds." He knew the others did not know of his Gukko-trauma, but he didn't want to go into detail on the matter.
  14. *facepalms* I should have realised that - Thentyle is one of them. But still, not talking about it and having amnesia, what's the real difference....other than suddenly knowing everything if we ever get to go inside the MU.
  15. Ah, touche. That wouldn't have been true prior to the Turaga assassinations...wait, what about Makuta? He's the one guy who seems to know anything.
  16. Which in turn has led to a large number of players with 'amnesia'. Makes me wonder why Lorax didn't include them as their own category in his census
  17. Agreed. I tried that and I can verify it's best you stick to this world.
  18. IC: Litozen Despite his newfound certainty in his devotion, a sudden thought finally crawled into Litozen's mind, something that had escaped him until just now. The seriousness of the current situation had made him overlook the one thing that everyone kept mentioning; Gukko. Litozen's memories of his first time riding a Gukko bird resurfaced, and they were not pleasant. He had risen high above the treetops and felt the wind on his Kanohi, enjoying the experience. But unfortunately a stray Bamboo Disk had struck the bird and caused Litozen to fall to the ground, something which left him traumatised when on unsupported heights. Thankfully, the elevated platforms of Le-Koro were sturdy enough not to set it off, but there was no way in Karzahni that the De-Toa would be found dead riding a Gukko. With this realisation Litozen noted that he needed a new escape plan. Perhaps after the battle and betraying his 'comrades', he could hide in the swamp. Surely, Syvra could create some protective plants. Regardless, he felt he should wait until the time comes to deal with that issue.
  19. I like to think that "at the foot of each koro" means they're right outside the edges. You know, the very borders.
  20. for 1) I think we're aiming to evacuate all non-combatants, and THEN everyone else. For 2...I want to know as well.
  21. that depends on how much you value your life.
  22. Limiting? Yes. And as Lorax proved, it's skewed the Mata Nui census by a ridiculous proportion. But at the same time it makes things a bit simpler, too. Besides, Skakdi, Vortixx and Matoran are pretty much the largest species in the MU, so it only makes sense. Rahi are on the most part non-sentient so to make them playable would be fun but illogical, and you can apply to be other races like Steltians and stuff under the right circumstances so I don't see too much of an issue.
  23. I also think playable Rahkshi would suck, even/especially with powered-down versions. I think it would work better to keep them as a threatening NPC race. Besides, wouldn't a playable Rahkshi technically be a playable kraata instead? Those things would need to be majorly toned down when you consider even their most basic powers. It's just not worth it. Stick with evil Toa, at least then we're still superpowered bad guys.
  24. Yawelp, I had to choose which path to take with Lito. I like the notion that he could have had a different destiny had he decided to follow his devotion for the Matoran. Makes me think of a YuGiOh card that had that sort of story (forget which on though). Thentyle will, assuming someone stops him eventually, be restored to his good self. Litozen is now on an evil path for life. muahaha. I have to admit the sudden "whisk in and save the De-Matoran" thing seemed a bit...sudden to me. I was expecting a bit more of a fuss for such a matter. Oh well.
  25. IC: Litozen Regretfully, Litozen took the berry and crushed it as he drained the energy to replenish what he had lost to create the barrier keeping their conversation private. He couldn't keep it up for much longer without weakening, though, and decided to wrap up their talk."Thank you, Syvra." He took a deep breath to proclaim his decision in the matter. "I've decided. It is hard for me to say such a thing, but...I must choose one. And I choose that which is more powerful." As he said that, it felt as though his entire destiny was being rewritten. His allegiance to the Matoran was being forced out of his mind entirely, despite his panic. Somehow, Syvra's way of talking had convinced him of that. His brow lowered, and his mouth formed a sort of evil smirk as his personality altered just a tiny bit. He looked at the De-Matoran that had just been rescued. In some ways, he looked like a miniature version of himself. But despite is attachment, he was ready to let him - and all the others that were being evacuated - go so long as he could have an ally he trusted. Syvra, and the Makuta he had heard of only in legends and yet shown his existence by sending his sons, were clearly the most reliable allies in his mind. before he lowered the field of silence so that sound could once again flow as normal and thus avoid any suspicion, a subconcious train of thought made Litozen feel like some kind of bond was being formed with the Bo-Toa, and he felt slightly more comfortable in his presence. With the invisible sound barrier gone, all the conversations the other Toa were having returned to full volume, at which point Litozen reminded himself of the reason why he usually keeps his abilities active at a low level, even if it was energy-inefficient to do so.
