  1. As stated in another topic, I wouldn't mind a Ratchet & Clank Constraction theme. It would be a good time to start now, since we've got the first movie coming out that's a re-imagining of the original game on Playstation 2. Also, they, Ratchet and Clank, would make a great Unity mode.
  2. Yeah, that's correct; but also, they were "leaked out" into certain stores around the top of Queensland as well. That's according to some very old pre-2011 downtime posts which my older brother remembered reading.
  3. If they do end it, which they probably won't until 2018, then I'd like a Ratchet & Clank Constraction theme to be its successor. Honestly, things can't be too bad if we're getting a form of story-telling that's roughly four times larger than what it was for the previous year.
  4. I'll get all of them because of completion's sake. They're alright, but to me, they're nothing spectacular, though I do appreciate the attention to functionality.
  5. Well, at least they didn't get Pohatu and Onua mixed up with their new elemental titles.
  6. Nah, it's never happened to me before. It doesn't surprise me, however. It's one of those pieces, after all.
  7. Yeah, in other words, it's a normal thing. I've got all sorts of variations with the Zamor Spheres I got with my Piraka and Inika.
  8. Six less things for fans to complain about! Yes! Six less? I think you mean six more things for fans to complain about. "Tahu's voice doesn't fit!" "Kopaka's voice sounds like it should be Tahu's!" "What happened to Pohatu's australian accent?!" This is the BIONICLE fanbase, after all. When doesn't it complain? If it exists in BIONICLE, it will be complained about. Yeah, yeah. That will happen, no doubt. It happens with almost everything, though.
  9. It's nice to see Ninjago possibly getting more stuff. Of course, Mr. Over-rated will probably end up with the award.
  10. Matt Betteker has done it this time! This has got to be one of my favorite pieces of art of all time. That's why I've proudly got it as my cover photo for Twitter and Facebook.
  11. Let's be fair, though. The Bionicle G1 story's ten-year lifespan wasn't planned from the get-go, but the giant robot reveal WAS. The writers had plans in place to wrap the story up after one year, or three, or however long sales lasted, at which point they'd reveal the "big story engine". If Bionicle hadn't performed so well, maybe we WOULD have gotten the Great Spirit Robot reveal in 2003. Yeah, it's a good thing those MNOG chapters were released one at a time, each month; There could've been some weird and subtle changes if the sets didn't sell well and the Great Spirit Robot was revealed in 2001.
  12. I wonder if Umarak the Destroyer is able to create a sickly Trans. Neon-Green Shadow Trap... I hope so. Also, stickers; I'm not bothered by them, seeing as they're somewhat required for detail and I really like the printing.
  13. There seems to be a lot of last-second saves shown through all of these trailers, and there will definitely be some intense action. I'm really liking the look of things for Bionicle and I'm intrigued to see its reception soon.
  14. All character videos are up on the LEGO YouTube page, now!

  16. It also nicely resembles the green energy that surrounds the Mask of Control on this year's packaging. Perhaps the color of energy for each year resembles a major character for each year. Mask of Creation energy = Trans. Light Blue of Ekimu, Mask of Control energy = Trans. Neon Green for Umarak the Destroyer.
  17. Probably because kids generally like the heroes more and having most villains at the same level as a big-Toa set can end up being a bit of a budget waster when they generally don't sell as well as the heroes. It makes sense when you consider that the Toa are in the spotlight.
  18. Also that. There's too much of that across all of them in my opinion. Would it hurt to use, say, transparent yellow? ~|ET|~ As much as I'd been hoping for Transparent Yellow on Umarak, I've gotta say Tr. Fluor. Green is probably a better choice as a unifying color across all the villains. It feels more evil, more... septic. Like the Trans. Fluor. Reddish Orange on last year's Skull Villains, Trans. Fluor. Green gives off an eerie glow that contrasts strongly with the other colors in the Beast sets' color schemes. Trans. Yellow might work well on Umarak (since it's such a core part of the color scheme, and is harmonious with the Warm Gold of his mask), but it's just too dull to work quite as well as a contrasting accent color on the others. I prefer Trans. Neon-Green for him because it's closer to his previous green, which gives off a better sense of transition from his previous form.
  19. I must agree, the new style is very cool as presented in this video, and in my opinion it looks even better in the new Lewa video on the official Facebook page. To me, the narrator of the trailer doesn't sound bad, but rather a bit bland. But I'm not worried about that.
  20. Of course it's Hero Factory with Bionicle "slapped onto it." You can consider that all of these types of products are just plastic with LEGO slapped onto them.
  21. Exactly how is Mata Nui better? I'm not talking story or characters, tell me how the island itself is better. 'Cause they look the same to me. Again, how do Mata Nui and Okoto look the same? They're completely different islands. The only similarity is the six districts. Which happen to be almost symmetrically divided in Okoto, but blend much better with Mata Nui. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure Okoto was meant to have some similarities with Mata Nui to show that it's a reboot with elements from the first Generation, mostly specific to 2001 - 2003. If there were no similarities, people would be saying "it's not the same" and "it's too different." Oh wait, that's already happened plenty of times despite LEGO's best efforts...
  22. If I were you, I'd do whatever makes me happy and just buy the sets I like. Of course, I'm not you. So that won't be happening. My collecting goals? Buy every retail set and polybag while having the best time I possibly can. That's a big success so far.
  23. He definitely seems like one, though he's described as a
  24. I don't have any compatible devices, so I won't be playing this for a while. It definitely looks like a step-up from last year's Mask of Creation game, though. However, I'm a bit wary about this so-called "update" with Kopaka, Onua and Gali...
