  1. Whoa, it's ancient. From what I can see of its initial front page, it looks decent for something from the mid 90s. Congratulations, LEGO.com; You're one-fifth of a century old.
  2. Will The Journey to One get a DVD release? If so, when?
  3. Aye, the new Toa were released ten years after the Winter 2006 sets known as the Piraka, and would you look at that; They've got matching color/element combinations... Cowinky-dink? I think not.
  4. Yeah, I haven't received one either. To be fair, though, there may be an issue of some sort with email systems or something similar to that matter.
  5. You should definitely build him soon. He's got a great build, and in my opinion, is a very solid and well designed set. Thank you, John Ho, for such a nice set.
  6. I sort of interpreted that discrepancy to mean that there might just be a lot of those sorts of statues around different parts of Okoto's coast. In which case the Easter postcard from the LEGO Bionicle Facebook page probably doesn't depict the exact same statues or the exact same coast, just statues of the same type. Are you saying that they could be everywhere? *Gasp* Seriously, though. That could be a possibility.
  7. It could be that, but when we see the Toa However, that could just be a visual error.
  8. Well, no one should be re-uploading because that's illegal and would hurt both Netflix and LEGO. Linking you to the actual episodes is pointless without a Netflix subscription, therefore I suggest you create an account with the free 30-day trial. It is indeed free, but you'll have to cancel whatever subscription service you chose afterwards as soon as possible before your trial ends, otherwise you'll get charged at that point. That was exactly what I did a week ago, and I certainly do not regret it at all.
  9. In Quest for Unity near the beginning, You know what I'm talking about; that scene with the Boggarak... I wonder if that was intentional as a callback...
  10. I think Gali's is suitable for a female character and to me, is a voice which is refreshing from her older tone in Bionicle: Mask of Light. I'm not too sure about some of the other ones, so I might reserve judgement until Friday/Saturday.
  11. Australia's got them now. I picked up Lewa from a Myer in Belconnen. It also has an exclusive Nexo Knights power-up that can be scanned at a display stand. So, I've only got four left to get now.
  12. Eh, I could just say I don't care, but there's more to it, really. With that, I actually lean more towards 'no.' The two generations have different set-aesthetic styles and different storytelling styles; One's long and complex, while the other is so far short and simpler. To me, merging the two is unnecessary and may result in a mess.
  13. Further, your channel can't be thrown out immediately for copyright strikes. It takes three of those to lose the channel. Well, TeamFourStar says otherwise; Though they got their channel back somehow, regardless. But yeah, their channel did get completely terminated without warning or a strike. Anyway, I just meant that in general. You can get a channel like BZPower's that is not corrupt (unlike some others) to be taken down or get a copyright strike regardless if the channel has done anything wrong or not. The system is as broken as Vezon's mind, now. Standing out from the crowd could potentially work, but I'd assume the staff knows best.
  14. Yeah, that's true; Fishers has a good point. I wouldn't get too comfortable with YouTube, especially with the state it's in now. BZPower's channel might get taken down for "copyright infringement." Also, don't react™ to anything to be on the safer side of things.
  15. I find it rather weird that this was once very populated and active, but at the same time, I like it like this because things aren't a mess of arguments everywhere. I'm not saying that because that's what I think happened in the old days, but rather because it's less likely to happen now that there's less people active. Also, with less people and less arguments, the staff have less things to worry about in their adult lives. So that's a plus, I guess. With that said though, the staff also have to look out for other things. BZPower is older than most big social media platforms, so people have gone with the new stuff, as pointed out by the statistics shown by Windrider. With a lot of the people that have grown up, they find a better balance with these other sites because they can learn and commit to more things that are relevant to them and not just LEGO. Don't forget, this is aimed at the news and discussion of LEGO, not more broader things like "social-lives" and developing global events, therefore this ends up being something smaller.
  16. Nice coverage, Black Six. Their functions were shown off pretty well with only one available hand, and I've got to say, Storm Beast's function makes him a must-have for me. Regardless, I'll get all of them anyway.
  17. Nice job, Crunchyn. *Liked.* I'm honestly not sure which will be better. The first two episodes or its very own poster? They both look so good.
  18. So, according to the designer, Brian, Umarak's Hunter Mask can actually control the shadows? Like a Mask of Shadows? If that's the case, that's pretty cool. It'd make sense with how much emphasis is placed on 'shadow' this year. Anyway, that was a fairly neat video. I love the group-shot at the end of the video.
  19. And then if there's ever a gen 3, people will be wishing we still had gen 2... Exactly! It happens with so many things. People get tangled up in nostalgia and don't enjoy the moment with what's already in front of them. It's happened too much with this new line...
  20. I don't mind the direction that they could be going with two kinds of designer videos. It shows they're trying to branch out to a bigger range of fans. Also, with the two videos together, different perspectives from contrasting sides are presented. I think it's pretty neat.
  21. Yeah, I'm lovin' it! I still don't get why people are comparing it to the days of old in a negative manner, specifically the first few years in which they are from an entirely different continuity with a different set aesthetic and story style. It's weird that people always want the old stuff and not something fresh...
  22. Oh, well then. Good luck. See you later, chap!
  23. Huh, I was expecting 20-25 to be the most popular category, but it's not. Unless of course, that's due to inactivity of older fans with all the stuff going on in their lives.
  24. Yeah, that's correct; but also, they were "leaked out" into certain stores around the top of Queensland as well. That's according to some very old pre-2011 downtime posts which my older brother remembered reading. Wow that's very interesting I hadn't heard that part of it before! Were these at larger stores like Kmart and Target? Yeah, but after a short while no more stock came, probably because they realized it as a mistake. It's also nice to know of someone else who lives in NSW on this site.
  25. Yeah, a Nexo Knights Constraction line would be pretty neat, but I'm not so sure about Costraction.
