Thanks, Anachir. Sadly, my Target in Anchorage doesn't seem to carry her so I might have to buy her online. She's one of my favorite Toa and I'm so glad to see her given just as much attention as all the other Toa.

I have to agree. Salvus doesn't even bother to come up with facts or evidence. He just hates.

She's my favorite Toa (Alongside Hahli) and I can't seem to find her anywhere in Alaska. I guess I'll just have to wait. I have some questions: 1. Are any of her parts loose? Like her mask? 2. How detailed is her chest compared to the other Toa? 3. Can she stand with those fins on her feet?

Who here has Gali?

Is it weird that I'm actually interested in this?

Bionicle reboot lacking flair?
Blueblur21 replied to protodermatology's topic in Bionicle Discussion
I LOVE the printed chest pieces. They bring personality and special attention to each Toa because they are all different. Gali has the best one. -
I vastly prefer 2015. 2001 was more of a planning stage for Bionicle. Names were still getting thrown around and the lore was still being discussed. The line really didn't start picking up steam until 2003. Now that Bionicle has a decade of success behind it they can pick and choose from those ten years what worked and what didn't. As far as sets go, the 2015 versions clearly draw heavily from their original forms as both a throwback and as tribute. I've never owned an original Toa Mata but I am looking forward to these sets and can say that 2015 is shaping up to be bigger than 2001 ever was. The MNOG was honestly pretty boring to me so I don't count it as part of the comparison.

I called the Northeastern Target in Anchorage to see if they had them. The clerk swore up and down they had Tahu, Pohatu, and Kopaka, but when she read the box for the third time she saw that they were all Protectors and that they don't get new shipments until next week. Before that she literally went down to the floor and said that yes, they had them. I was all set to put them on a 24 hour reserve when she said she had misread the box. Why can't people learn to read? She was trying to pronounce the names when all I told her to do was just check if it said 'Master' or 'Protector.' It really wasn't that hard. Now I have to wait until Monday to call again and ask.

I can't even play the game and I want to see what Gali's form would look like.

All the Bionicle sets are out of stock on Lego's online store!
Blueblur21 replied to Spiffy247's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Alaska never gets anything on release and now I have to wait until hopefully this week to call Target and check. I don't want to order online because I want to get them from the store, just like I used to. -
The Northeast Target in Anchorage is supposed to get new sets in next week. Hopefully the Toa are part of them.
-
I think it might be. But I just downloaded the game last night!
-
So I can't play it? Come on!
-
I have some $5 phone from GCI.
-
It won't work on my phone! Any ideas?
-
I finally get to play as Gali!
-
They haven't even hit Alaska yet aside from a few Protectors. I hate sitting here and not having them!
-
Oh look, Salvus is being a jerk and mocking other people's preferences again. What a surprise.
-
I've never been one for special events or deals. If I want something and it's a reasonable price, I'll get it. I have no problem paying full price for everything tomorrow.
-
GALI DROPS TOMORROW! As do the rest of the Toa! Should I bother getting the rest of the Protectors or LOSS? I was only going to get the Toa, but they need something to fight other than small spiders. I might pick LOSS up. I have both the Water and Earth Protectors, but that's it.
-
I want Cryoshell or Imagine Dragons. Both bands could make a special song for Bionicle.
-
I guess you could say the post above me was 'Blatantly Heroic'! ...No? Anyway, this guy is right. The last thing we need is division. G1 was great, but it's OVER.

The Protector of Earth is worth every penny. One of the best sets in some time. Salvus, you're so wrong. LEGO isn't going downhill. They made one of the most successful and popular movies of this year and bring back one of their most successful theme back with a superior building system and you want to say they're going downhill? Kids these days. Also, you don't have to love the new system. But crapping all over everyone else that does is a fast way to lose friends (If you had any) or drive people away. You offer no reasons why the old system should still be in place. All you do is blab about how much you don't like it. Why not give it a shot?
-
That's nothing. I bought two Protectors yesterday and the guy tried to charge me $16 each! I told him the tag said $11 but he kept trying to say that was the lowest price. He finally checked around and saw that someone had misplaced the price tag and apologized. I'm not taking anymore chances. I'm waiting until the first. There aren't any Toa up here in Alaska yet anyway.

All of the Toa are the most unique they've been in years. Sure they have some similarities, but as far as weapons, mask designs, armor, and functionality goes, they all have something that makes them special. I love the new CCBS System. It's easier to use and it's more sturdier. People who want to keep the old system should just stick to the old sets. Even then, they are practically the same so I don't see why we need to have two different sides.
