2006 was one of the best years for Bionicle. the first three years were decent at best, and it wasn't until Takanuva and The Rahkshi that things started to get interesting. Before that, while the sets looked cool and everything, the story was very generic and one dimensional. The years after the first three gave everything time to grow and improve, and it worked for the better. ...Until 2010 happened....

One will not deny the pure swag of The Piraka. EVER.

I loved the Piraka gangster gimmick. It suited them perfectly as a gang of jerkfaces who thought they were the best and did something completely insane to prove it. I hate that I never picked all of them up.

Oh yeah, and Gali is the sound running water makes...

That's actually a good idea. I just hope they don't get stuck with stupid names like Von Nebula or something.

I really hope they get someone like Candi Milo for Gali's voice. That'd be a dream come true for me.

I want more characters like The Piraka. They were just so cool and gangsta and I jumped every time Vezok or someone would glare at the screen. I loved the rubber spines and the dual weapons. Oh, and the light up eyes and glow in the dark teeth!

Wait, they have VOICES now? Okay... This changes everything.

You're kidding, right? That's what got the toys popular in the first place. Kopaka stopping a blizzard with a mere wave of his hand? How awesome was that? But to be impartial, I will wait until more cartoons are released. The trailer was decent, so hopefully it gets better.

I really wish they'd have used CGI like the first generation. The characters looked so realistic and awesome and caught people's eye. This new style is too cartoony and makes it look lame.

I like these new boxes. But if they are really flimsy, what are we supposed to put our cool new sets in?

I do want The Protectors to have names, only because I don't want them to be generic. Bionicle had a rich lore for everything from the Toa to the animals and that was what set it apart from the other lines. Bionicle sets are special because they are more than just pieces. They have their own personality and story behind them, something to give them purpose.

Man, that Gali set review really WET my appetite! I'm so happy she got a good review and I SHORE can't wait to pick her up in the store! Seriously, though. I DIED reading the review.

Just grabbed COD Advanced Warfare for my 360. I can't wait! I've heard great things about this game!

I put all my old sets away in preparation for next year. Has anyone else done this?

I'd like to get a sense of what their exact role is in the story before we see any sets of them. I mean, weren't they in a deep sleep because Ekimu knocked Makuta's head off?

I already apologized. How I interact with actual women isn't any of your concern. Maybe you should stop trying to pick fights and leave well enough alone. I already said I was sorry and I won't do it again. Also, I am free to like or admire a character as much as I'd like. It isn't hurting you or anyone else and besides this small mishap which I have been corrected on, it won't 'creep' anybody else out anymore. Move on. We're here to discuss Bionicle, not my feelings for a video game character.
