  1. Hmmm... I don't know. I might get an Elves set when I move out just so I can avoid the laughter of my siblings. I like Azari's official artwork better than he rminifig anyway.
  2. I said the same thing about Ninjago, but girl's toy lines don't always work the same as their boy counterparts, see She-Ra as an example. I hope Elves succeeds. The story doesn't suck and Azari is so awesome and super impressive.
  3. Solution. Widely available for cheap, and while the bakery is awesome, this won't take up nearly as much space. This is perfect! How do I get it?
  4. I'll do anything for a SOLID GOLD Kaukau! ANYTHING!
  5. I want an Elves set because Azari is so dang cute but then I don't because a 22 year old man with a room filled to the brim with Bionicle sets has no room for a tiny fire elf minifigure and her bakery.
  6. G1. The new vids are terrible.
  7. Just watched the new episode. These animations are so cringe inducing it's not even funny. I've given up on ever hoping for the Bionicle I grew up with. Even 2001 wasn't this cheesy. "We must fight as one!" Gali was such a joke just like all the other Toa. My heroes have been reduced to 8 bit comedy for 6 year olds.
  8. I went there every day to play the games after school. Good times.
  9. Why do I continue to watch each episode even though I know it'll be cheesy and horrible?
  10. I'll watch it when it comes online, alright? Geez.
  11. Well, so far none of the animals in LEGO Elves talk, though the elves' elemental powers include the ability to understand and communicate with animals aligned with that element. Their behaviors are a bit anthropomorphized, though — they sometimes employ human-like body language, like Miss Spry shaking her fist/paw to convey anger. Bah. I 'll try to ignore it. I want to watch the special but I don't want to be a 22 year old watching a kids show.
  12. Ugh... If there's anything I hate, it's annoying 'cute' animals who act like humans and talk.
  13. THIS. I haven't touched my Bionicle sets since getting them because everything's just so bare bones. What's Gali doing right now? Still trying to find her golden mask? Yep. Oh, wait. She just found it. Now it'll take her another month to meet the others. The Tahu Show isn't any fun, either. And why don't the Protectors have any personalities? They are literally just the definition of generic.
  14. Don't the animations show him flying with his boomerangs in hand and on his feet? I remember the fron of the box shows him riding a whirlwind while carrying the boomerangs. If the animations do too, it might mean that the boomerangs aren't strictly necessary for 'tornado riding', and instead just speed him up while doing so. If that is the case, wouldn't them being put on his feet be kind of redundant?
  15. PLEASE draw Gali!
  16. ...Why does he have it? I get that he needs something to fight while flying, but the animations don't even show him using it.
  17. Not at all, as it is I highly doubt TLGs business plan has the average buyer as buying all of them (¡Or even most of them..?) Aye the current gen consoles aren't exactly cheap, & I don't think a vast majority of people direct all their luxury-funds into a single hobby, but I'm surprised you find an Xbox One really worth it, obnoxiously pricey, not a huge variety of games (all of which one will be able to play on PC to a degree)... if one can afford that I'm surprised one doesn't wait longer to buy a great PC (doubles for work capabilities etc. although that may not be relevant...) that should last just as long and be able to play games from the game-generation after this one... but if you're set on an Xbox One; it's your money & it's what you want, then yeah, I really don't see it as anything bad that you don't want to pour money into an expensive toyline. I want an Xbox One because it's what I like. If I wanted a PC, I'd ask for a PC and talk about how I wanted one. This was never about the PC. If it was, I'd mention it. The Xbox One has just started out and will get more games as it grows. Obviously, you've never played Dying Light or Sunset Overdrive. If that isn't variety I don't know what is. Really? Dying Light? Everyone I know who have played that game (six people, give or take) have all hated it. They said it was buggy, boring, had really cheap deaths because the levels aren't designed around the parkour. It's essentially the lovechild of Dead Island and Mirror's Edge, but something went wrong, the baby was stillborn, but they're still trying to raise it. AND it's also on PC. It definitely plays better on the Xbone, but I am a member of the PC master race, and (puts on Nazi helmet) MOOST SHOW YOU ZEE BESS GAMES ARE UNT ZEE PEE CEE. (takes off Nazi helmet) Ahem. Heil Steam. Back on topic, has anyone noticed how... what's the word... simian Lewa looks now? Funny. I don't remember asking or caring for your opinion. Last I checked, I wasn't talking to you, was I? As for Bionicle, Episode 6 was disappointing. More bad voice acting with cheesy lines. You're a little rude, now aren't you? All he/she does is give you some insight on the games and console, like ANYONE would do, and repay knowledge for your own preconceived ideas and egotistical values. I will agree about the cheesyness. There was a lot of cheese. 'Insight' is subjective. That was his opinion and besides the conversation was between me and another user. He did not add anything productive. He merely stated his distaste for the game and nothing else. This is why I feel that the series is failing. Too little content in such little time with vast amounts of cheese.

  19. No rhyming, you say? Well, we had a good run. At the end of the day, Rhyming's simply good fun. It may seem childish, Not quite your cup of tea, But as long as it's mild-ish Rhyming's okay by me. You want to see how hard I can punch?
  20. I swear to God if they make rhyming a thing for this series I'm done. I love the complex characters and the realistic art style but I can't take rhyming seriously.

  22. Is it bad that I don't plan on buying every single set? I mean, for my birthday (which is August 21,) I know the Ekimu set is going to be out along with the other villains. The problem is, I want an Xbox One like you wouldn't believe and we all know those things aren't cheap.
  23. ...I think Azari is cute. There, I said it.
  24. There was actually a lot of hype and anticipation built up towards the end of last year with the Mask of Creation teasers and the well-attended and covered Comic Con reveal. By this time, though, I do feel that something's a bit off. The sets are now sitting there on the shelves and that just seems to be it. Nothing about the new story is very engaging, because the only media so far has been the animations, and too many were released too quickly. THIS. I love Gali and her brothers but with school and stuff I just don't have time to be interested in them anymore. A big part of this is because there is no mystery or any new information anymore. I miss the old site where there would be stories and chapters about what the characters were doing. Each Toa had their own page and quote and you could press a button to see their functions. Now? We get pics, a game everyone else already has on their phone, and that's it. Sure, we get to 'explore' Okoto, but I've done that like six times and found nothing else interesting as I did the first three times. In fact, I don't plan on picking up any of the summer sets besides Ekimu and Makuta for this very reason.
  25. I like the new song. Wish it had more rock, though. Also, The chorus is a little iffy but the lyrics are great and I love the inserts of the character voices.
