  1. OOC: Too harsh? Rest assured, if anything, it's too kind. Though, after hearing Fishers' clarification, I'm beginning to understand what she intends a bit more. Anyways, I'd like to request permission to give Arsenal a slight upgrade for the current mission. Specifically, I'd like to replace the rocket launcher he lost on Tranquis with a Megatronesque arm cannon. The destructive power would be roughly the same as one of his rockets, except in the form of an energy beam; which, in addition to eliminating shrapnel, would be able to be maintained for short amounts of time.
  2. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Ruins Gorn didn't believe Var's claim, but he still wanted to make sure. "We'll see. Each hero has a camera built into their helmet. Anything we witness is recorded, with one reason for that being to avoid situations like this. Come with us, and we'll review the footage from Plume's helmet. We'll see who's telling the truth. If you're innocent, you have nothing to fear." IC: Jason Ferro- Worst day ever Locating a charging station, Ferro hooked himself up to it, allowing the device to begin replenishing his energy over the course of a few minutes.
  3. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Ruins Gorn turned to Var. "Not really. Nobody ever goes quietly these days." He then turned to Plume, unimpressed by her apparent attempt at intimidation. "I was proposing that we return her to those allies, but considering she attacked you..." He turned back to Var. "I would think that the terms of our alliance would include not attacking those on your ally's side. I'm afraid you're under arrest."
  4. IC: Jason Ferro- Worst day ever Having arrived back at the Astral, Ferro passed some members of Alpha team who were trying to come up with a way to deal with Traferous. Not wanting to interrupt them, he began looking for a charging station on his own.
  5. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Ruins "Actually, I was talking to you." Gorn pointed at Var, keeping his blade where it was. "We may respect each other, but that sure as SLAG doesn't mean I'm going to let you kill a fellow hero!" He turned to Plume, while still keeping an eye on Var in case she tried anything. "Var is an... acquaintance of mine. She's not from around here. She came here with some allies, who are currently near the planet." IC: Jason Ferro- Worst day ever It seemed that the villain wasn't dead after all. At this point, Ferro had no idea how they were going to bring this guy down. He would try to assist, but he wasn't going to be of much help in this state, anyway. With a groan, the black and purple hero rose to his feet, and began limping back to the Astral.
  6. OOC: Ah, you don't like him either? Seriously, I think I might just make villains from now on. Playing all these Heroes is starting to get on my nerves... OOC: I'm sure there are many villains who would be all too happy to thin the ranks. IC: Jason Ferro- Worst day ever One moment, Ferro had been leaning on a wall, preparing to make a heroic sacrifice. The next, that wall no longer existed, and he was flying through the air. As he came to, Ferro could hear fires burning and heroes yelling. He had no idea what had happened, but since he didn't hear any gunfire, he guessed the villain had been stopped. For now, at least. Dazed, Ferro sat up, trying to see if there was anyone near him. "Is... It it over?.."
  7. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Ruins Gorn ignited his blade as well, putting it between Var and Plume. "Don't."
  8. OOC: Gorn's waiting for a response from Plume. (Or Var, I guess, since she's there too.) IC: Jason Ferro- Drained His warning ignored, Ferro tried to follow Thumper back into the ship, before realizing that such an act would be pointless. He could hear yelling within the vessel, and it didn't sound like anyone he had heard before... Ferro leaned against part of the ship in order to prop himself up, and drew one of his pistols. If the Titan managed to overcome Thumper, Ferro would blow their head off as they exited the ship. The wound probably wouldn't kill them, but it would give everyone else a chance to escape while the Titan regenerated.
  9. IC: Jason Ferro- Drained "Yeah..." As Ferro stumbled to safety, the colorful hero ran past him, probably going to retrieve the villain herself. Ferro turned toward her as she ran, intending to warn her about the villain's regenerative abilities. "Hey... Wait!"
  10. IC: Jason Ferro- Dilemma Well. This was just great. The ship was rapidly being consumed by flames, and Ferro had just received orders from two different heroes, each telling him to do the exact opposite of what the other had ordered. The Titan was as unconscious as ever. The fire would easily kill them in this state. Should he save them? They had contributed to the deaths of thousands, and from what Ferro had seen, their current state was the mainly the result of luck... Would leaving them be the right thing to do? Like the colorful hero had said; Heroes didn't leave villains to die. If Ferro did now, would he really be all that different from the villain laying before him? Without warning, Ferro's magnetic fields began to disappear, one by one. It was an automatic function, intended to prevent Ferro from completely draining his core through excessive usage of his powers. Slag! How could he have been so careless?! Ferro had been distracted by the battle, so much so, that he had neglected to check his power levels. He hadn't had a recharge since before he went to Antropolis, and the fields he used to restrain Traferous had drained him rapidly. He was now at 10% power, too low to create any more magnetic fields without risk of death. Desperately, Ferro tried to drag the Titan out of the ship physically, but it was no use. He wasn't strong enough. He then came to a realization: the titan's regeneration would protect them from being killed by the fire. Ferro had seen them regrow limbs in seconds, the fire's effects on them would be nonexistent! Confident in the villain's survival, Jason began to stagger out of the ship, his low power preventing him from moving any faster. Hopefully, the colorful hero would give him a chance to explain himself before yelling at him...
  11. IC: Jason Ferro- Ruins Ferro ran to where the group had fallen. Upon seeing Traferous incapacitated, Ferro holstered his pistols before using all six magnetic fields he was allowed to create to pin different parts of the Titan to the ground. He would let his power run out before letting this guy get away.
  12. IC: Jason Ferro- Ruins Jason exited the Astral, running towards the fight. The second he got within range, he began firing at Traferous.
  13. IC: Jason Ferro- Astral "Right." Ferro began running back the Astral's entrance, hands on his pistols. He didn't know if he could do much against a regenerating foe, but his comrades probably needed all the help they could get.
  14. IC: Jason Ferro- Villain storage As the pair left the Villain Storage, Ferro inquired to Wolfe about the black and red villain the veteran had been locking up. "What happened to the other one? He looked pretty beaten up!"
  15. IC: Jason Ferro- Prisoner transport Upon arriving, Ferro unlocked Fravi's cuffs before giving her a gentle magnetic push in order to force her into the cell. As the bars activated and the cell began lifting itself back into place on the wall, Ferro turned to leave.
  16. OOC: I misread Fravi considering going into a cell as her actually going into one. My bad. IC: Jason Ferro- Prisoner transport "Do you really think that I would be daydreaming at a time like this?! Anyway, I don't have time to do this for the next hour, so I'm just going to assume that these are all the weapons you have. I'm pretty sure they do regular checks for this type of thing, anyway." Ferro took the last knife in one hand, Fravi's cuffs in the other, and began leading her to a cell.
  17. IC: Jason Ferro- Prisoner transport Intentionally or not, Wolfe's throat-clearing snapped Ferro back to attention. He was met with the villainess retreating to a cell. Ferro looked down at the knives he had collected. "Get back here. I know these aren't all of them."
  18. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Ruins "You're going to try and blow him up? Wouldn't he just regenerate from whatever's left afterwards?" Gorn had no idea how this hero knew his name, as he couldn't remember seeing her before... Suddenly, he recalled some very fuzzy memories of meeting a hero resembling this one on a mission a very long time ago, when he was much younger and more naive. It was no wonder he didn't remember straight away. That mission had taken place over fifty years ago, before he'd even gotten his plasma sword. "Fifty years, huh? That explains a lot. Anyway, I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who would be capable of something like that. Even if I did, odds are they're dead now."
  19. IC: Jason Ferro- Prisoner transport "Right. Sorry..." Ferro took the larger knife from the prisoner, and began thinking to himself about ways to deal with the regenerating Titan outside... OOC: I think I might actually have figured out a way for the heroes to kill Traferous here and now, but I can't think of a believable way for Gorn or Ferro to come up with it. Gorn because he's not smart enough, Ferro because he's in the wrong place.
  20. IC: Jason Ferro- Prisoner transport Jason accepted the knives, taking a moment to examine them before beginning to levitate them above his hand. Ferro frowned. He was familiar with the common practice of concealing many small weapons and surrendering one or two in order to divert your captor's attention away from the others. On top of that, anybody who used throwing knives would know that only carrying two was a bad idea. "Why would you only carry two throwing knives and nothing else?" Truth be told, Ferro really didn't want to touch Fravi, either. The situation was already awkward enough as it was. Still, he trusted her even less. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Ruins "Slag. Do either of you have any other ideas?" IC: Arsenal- Mechna's middle district Mechna's middle district was considerably nicer than the Grunge, though saying that was like comparing a gunshot wound to a gunshot wound in the unmentionables. Despite that, he liked the place enough to have rented an apartment there. An apartment that had been robbed at least once a week until he installed booby traps to deter thieves, but still. He was almost there. Unless the traps had failed, he would definitely have enough materials to repair his arm, among other things...
  21. IC: Jason Ferro- Prisoner transport "Thanks." Unfortunately for Fravi, she would have little time to do so, as the second Ferro received his answer he began leading her deeper into the ship. The pair were being followed by an older hero who seemed to have captured a villain of their own, one who appeared to have put up one heck of a fight. Arriving in the area with the cells, Ferro was awestruck at just how similar the room was to the one that had been in the factory. Rows upon rows of small metal cells lined the walls, each with several energy bars placed across the entrance in a haphazard pattern to prevent escape. Ferro watched the veteran imprison the battered Titan, only to realize that he had neglected to disarm his own prisoner. The cuffs would prevent her from using any weapons she had, but those would come off once she was placed in a cell. "You wouldn't happen to have any weapons on you, would you?" The question was merely standard procedure; the villainess would be searched regardless of her response.
  22. IC: Jason Ferro- Prisoner transport "You're in no position to give ME orders, but suit yourself." The pair arrived at "The Astral". Ferro led the prisoner into the massive vessel, only to be met with Preston Stormer, Mark Surge, and Zib trying to come up with a plan on how to deal with the threat. "I've captured one of the attackers, but I'm unfamiliar with the layout of this place. Where are the cells?"
  23. IC: Jason Ferro- Prisoner Transport As Ferro led the prisoner back to "The Astral", he could see that the fight with Traferous wasn't going well. The Titan seemed to be capable of regenerating and morphing their body into different objects. Ferro was worried, but he remained stoic. It was never good to show weakness in front of a prisoner. "So, what exactly did you and your allies think would happen when you destroyed the factory? That we would all just give up and die?" OOC: Ferro would probably just levitate her rather than picking her up physically.
  24. IC: Jason Ferro- Ruins "Well you... You know, you're right, actually. I never really thought about how inaccurate that line is. I suppose a better one would be "You're coming with me!" or something like that. Either way, you get the idea. You're under arrest." Ferro grabbed the chain connecting Fravi's bonds and began to lead her towards "The Astral". IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Brawling Gorn was alarmed at the sight of the Traferous regenerating their lost leg. If the wounds Gorn inflicted wouldn't last, there was no way he could hope to win, even with the help of his comrades. Noticing Var and a hero conversing while pointing at the Titan, Gorn got an idea. Quickly approaching the pair, Gorn inquired about Var's powers. "Do you think you could use "The Force" to keep that guy from instantly healing all the wounds I give him?"
  25. OOC: I sincerely apologize for the delay, I had real world obligations to attend to. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Brawling... Again... Gorn quickly sidestepped the titan's attempt to tackle him, before taking a few steps backwards. His wounds were beginning to cause him pain again, and he was in no position to try and take on someone as big as Traferous, at least not until his comrades had weakened them a bit... IC: Jason Ferro- Brawling Ferro gasped as his second target was blasted by a grenade's explosion, pushing them into the ground. Ferro couldn't see if they had survived the blast, but it seemed that another hero was about to reach them. Despite all that these villains had done, he didn't feel that they deserved to die anymore. They deserved a fair trial at the very least... Attempting to take his mind off of the possible death, Ferro turned his attention to the villain who had been frozen. The ice had melted faster than he had expected, and the villain was making a very slow getaway. Running after them, Ferro easily caught up to the bound flyer due to the latter's low power. "You're not going anywhere." IC: Scourge- Hunting Having been stalking the Hero and their weird friends the entire time, Scourge was incredibly surprised by the sheer amount of easy prey surrounding it. Attacking the hero could prove dangerous. These unfortunate beings, not so much. Heck, it could probably kill enough of these bots to get the same amount of energy it would get from a hero core, with far less effort. Abandoning it's previous prey, Scourge instead went off to gorge on Mechna's less fortunate. IC: Arsenal- Detour's over The walking attack helicopter made his way back to his ship, having ignored Uerub's quest. He had much more important things to attend to. Entering the cockpit, Arsenal took off and began flying towards Mechna's middle district.
