  1. In the interests of self-preservation, I'm voting Manducus.
  2. IC: Plainly, this new arrival is no immediate threat. Trava wouldn't be inviting him to stay for dinner if she thought he might be. And I trust her judgment, more or less. Meaning, I relax a bit but not entirely. Which is nothing unusual. To those who live by the fist and blade, a mental Condition Yellow is a constant. It's not something you can just turn on and off. It's a semi-conscious instinct, and like every instinct it can be more fully awakened, more completely tempered, by training and lifestyle. And once it's strong, it can never truly be lulled to slumber or neutrality ever again. You can't unlearn things like that, things that have to do with life and death and adrenaline. It's just not the way the brain is wired. I casually re-sheath my knife and turn my attention back to the steaks.
  3. Voting Mr. Pink. Because naked mole rats are pink.
  4. So I'm assuming if we didn't get a PM, we're a villager/voter/non-role? Do we ourselves get to know our color names? Sorry if this is a dumb question; I've never played Reservoir Dogs before.
  5. A tiny error in the new coding causes the entire site to self-destruct. The servers crash; all data is lost forever. Black Six sadly pronounces BZPower dead at the scene. The negative impact on society is so great, World War III begins and the nuclear apocalypse follows soon after. - - - Makuta survives the skull-smashing of the Great Spirit Robot and is still alive, his essence contained in a random Exo-Toa.
  6. When you get a chance, could you take a look at the underlined flaw? As per grammar, you know. It's just a silly little mistake and I normally wouldn't point it out, except that in this RPG your level of writing/artistry/craftsmanship is so high... I just thought you might want to know. Also, may I take this opportunity to simply express deep interest in this project? It looks really neat; I'll definitely play it if it runs.
  7. Turaga Dume labors ceaselessly, night and day, for centuries. By the time the foundations of his empire are set, the scattered tribes and villages of the Matoran Universe brought under the iron-fisted rule of his new world capitol, Metru Nui, he is a pale and haggard ghost of his former self. He subsists on energy drinks and high-calorie caffeinated chewing gum. His eyes are red-rimmed and wild. There is a whooshing noise in his heart and his laughter has a high-pitched crackling undertone. He survives just long enough to be crowned First Emperor of Global Nui, then drops dead as a doornail. - - - Tren Krom manages to remotely hack the central operating system of the Great Spirit Robot.
  8. Awesome, can I have Slot 11?
  9. Recall the old rule of thumb... If you're consciously trying to determine whether or not you're insane, you're probably not.
  10. A unusual, BIONICLE-ized variant of Frankenstein's monster. Possible method of creation? MS Paint or similar.
  11. . Switching vote from Petewa to Fishers.
  12. Voting Petewa. Let's get a double-hang at least.
  13. A four-way hang looks good to me. *cracks knuckles* (jk... might vote later but too busy to think about it right now)
  14. IC: Note to self... this 'Flabbergaster' person possesses some as-yet-unidentified means of detecting hidden life forms. Something to remember. And something to investigate further, when the opportunity presents itself... But for now, even as I'm filing the noted information, I'm shifting my position ever-so-slightly, casually half-turning to keep both Trava and the unknown in easy visual range. My right hand, hidden by my body, drops and flickers in a single cobra-quick movement. Practiced and sure; when bolstered by my passive elemental energies, far too fast for the untrained eye to follow. And then my blade's out, free of the sheath, snugly secured in a standard RGEO grip. But still hidden. Just in case.
  15. Oh no oh no i'm late could you quick add one more spot for me please please please?
  16. Voting Kyle White. Because what Portalfig said.
  17. Bandwagon is suspicious. We've all been Mafia many a time; we've all seen firsthand just how easy it is to shove a bandwagon off a cliff and laugh at the dismal wreckage. Not voting just yet.
  18. I suppose I could have voted yesterday, but I had other things going on IRL and BZPower was waaaaay down on the list of priorities. I mean, it is the weekend. Just sayin'. Not that I'm excusing myself from my duties; I just don't count voting in an online Mafia game, as a duty. Maybe I should count it as a form of politeness and acknowledgement for the host, though. I'd never thought of it that way. But what's done is done. And anyhow, someone died and it wasn't me, so it looks like things turned out perfectly satisfactory, heh heh.
  19. IC: "I... have not heard the term 'lead belly' before, but it strikes my ear as a compliment," I note wryly, catching Trava's eye in an alert, almost wary sidelong glance that contrasts sharply with the glinting humor in my voice. A slight pause. Again I note the wild, restless beauty of her gaze. Untamed, elemental, as vividly potent as jungle sunshine on the forest floor. And I, who have ever and always been a figure of unshakable confidence, born and trained to habitual preparedness, feel all at once at an inexplicable terrifying loss. I mean, it's like all she has to do is exist for that one single instant when I've got my guard down, and pow! ...total systems failure. ... ... ... But so swift is my mind; this all happens in but a barely detectable amount of time. Like, literal milliseconds. Then I recover (*whew*) just enough to ratchet the clamps down on my sense of self, reboot all processing units, and return my focus to the business at hand: steak and charcoal.
  20. Wish I could upvote this more than once. I don't have anything to add to what Wade said, but I do want to make sure my support for his standpoint and opinion is noted. Not because it's his opinion, you understand, but because I was going to say the exact same thing only I didn't get around to it in time. Not that I'm bitter. #matoranFTW
  21. Ditto the above. Definitely something to consider.
  22. Well now... look at that! Been a long time since I've seen an RPG like this one. Blood, grit, rust and gore, all deftly crafted and tidily packaged in a minimalist, post-apocalyptic wrapping that blends easily with the 'old-school' BIONICLE feel. I like it. But yeah, I also am wondering about character building and so forth? I'd suggest you add a section, just to clarify. Which species are playable (possibly just Matoran...? that would be awesome), how would the playerbase go about setting up profiles, what about starting equipment, etc?
