  1. What do you mean? the image overhead is a rather crude back angled isometric view. In fact, I am upgrading it at the moment.
  2. It was clearly stated in the book Challenge of the Hordika that the Toa Hordika spread out across the city looking for airship parts. Hmmm... the movie contradicts a book. This ensures people fighting each other for months. Nevertheless, I believe that metru nui would have some built airships? (le metru was all about that).
  3. And what about superior beings who use masks? Could Artakha use 2 kanohi at the same time?
  4. Yes, but when they came back to Metru Nui in 2005 story they could have picked up a few more. They had an entire fleet of airships. If they had time to build those, picking up a few Kanohi on the way out would be easy. Altough i can no longer defend my theory, I have just seen the movie, and they did not build the airships. In fact, matau sees them for the first time just before entering. In fact, he very poetically says: 'WHOA! WHAT AN AIRSHIP!!' We all bow to matau's great speech abilities.
  5. Of the creator of how many visorak comes... HOW MANY MATORAN? ..are there in the whole MU? That i would like to know. There are several islands, and most of them are populated by matoran (Artakha, Ninrah, Karzahni...). But how many are there? Is metru nui the largest city? Or is it a rathe small one? (about 1000) Someone has a greg quote?
  6. Which brings up the question: ¿How many matoran are there in the matoran universe? I think I'll create a topic about that right now (to not get too far from the original topic).
  7. Sorry, I didn't realise it would go into a different post until I posted.
  8. I really should improve the head of those bohrok.
  9. But visorak are much larger than matoran. They are approximately the size of a toa hordika. I have seen the movie this morning, and I am sure they are rather large. If 1000 matoran fit, about 600 visorak fit.
  10. I would like to know: ¿What is the size of the visorak horde? I mean, if the visorak were at the service of tha makuta, they would have had their power reduced by A LOT when vakama disbanded them. But also, with the horde disbanded, it would shurely be a problem for the whole MU to have a large number of visorak wandering around. Unless, of course, that there are not so many of them, that they are only a couple hundred. In several points of the canon, a clash between three toa and a pair of dark hunters is considered a battle, and a group of 30 people is an army. So the word 'horde'; wouldn't it also have a smaller meaning than in our world?
  11. AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!! This was exceedingly hard: turning a photo into an acceptable mnolg-style bohrok. This is the result (it should be improved, i think): Maybe get the other arm out of the area behind him... Or the legs a bit back so he doesn't look like falling backwards. EDIT: fixed those two issues: And now, Nuparu, (what is thy bidding, my master?) Must I try to improve my work or do you have another task for me? Also, might I propose this? I made it a long time ago (in a galaxy far away). I have to stop with these star wars references. 'I am Pahrak #3224, giant robot face clearances. And this is my counterpart, pahrak-va. I am fluent in more than 6 million ways of smashing things...' No, really, I have to stop.
  12. MU inhabitants were capable, but I think we established in a much older topic that Nuju and Nokama ensured the ice wasn't a problem for them. For Matoran-piloted craft that would have remained a problem. So, that does at least lessen the percentage of likely sky explorers. And until the GC, Toa didn't really have an obvious reason to go exploring as opposed to rescuing Matoran in trouble, etc. etc. But it's also hard to imagine that nobody explored in all that time. Still, possible. Nokama and Nuju were able to clear ice off an entire fleet of airships? That seems a bit much. Also it's possible to use heating powers with proto if they really wanted to explore. I think having too much work to do and dread of enemies, Rahi, etc might have played a strong factor, as opposed to mechanical limitations. But you always got Takua...
  13. I think that they knew they were in domes, but considered it normal. They had known no other sky. Even us humans, before astrology and things, considered the sky to be a dome over the flat world. Until Galileo came and taught us the much less poetic view of an insignificant round place.
  14. Thank you. I'll see what I can do. Hm, i got these three images from BMP, one ot them from the toyspins. I'll see what I can do with them.
  15. *tear it's.... beautiful.... but really this is great! Thank you! I have been researching. There is absolutely no image of a back view bohrok. If someone out there has the building instructions, please scan them and upload them. It is needed tho complete the isometric views of a bohrok.
  16. Ah, good. I hate when something in MNOG is non-canon.
  17. Okay, here's the thing: How do matoran get their energy? do they eat? do they recharge with the sun? how?! We have seen rahi trying to eat people, and ga-matoran selling fresh fish in onu koro, but is this canon? Someone knows anything? Any greg quotes?
  18. People of the world, I present you, an isometric view of a pahrak (in 2 different poses, one ready, and the other attacking with the shield): I threw in parts from the 'bohrok and roll' image, the 'pahrak ball transformation' image and the tahnok kal image, al conveniently recoloured. The back view... I sincerely have no idea where to get it from...
  19. I can't speak for the bohrok thing (that;s nuparu's field, not mine lol) but I gotta say, I do love the remix! I was expecting something too "modern" but this sticks with the mnog feel. We may have use for this in a few chapters. Thanks! Sorry about the bad quality of the sound... Actually he gets older by 10 years every post, until about 8 posts from now, when he turns 5. I suspect time travel shenanigans. LOL ... I guess with this post I'm ten years older. The Bohrok is already recolorable inside flash. All of the body parts are actually gray. As you can see in the image above, on my sidebar I specify an alpha (transparency) along with a RGB value for the given movieclip. Gray is the color I use because the lighter the color the more effect the RGB value has on it. This is why as long as you get a concept drawing done I can re-draw it inside flash where I can manipulate it around in the game. Also here is some more Bohrok stuff I have. For your remix, just wondering, how did you get the audio? Because extracting the original .mp3's from flash will give you the best quality and access to each individual sound track. LeKoro_Band About the recolourable anonymous bohrok, it was mainly because of the shields. As for the remix, I got the sound from Biomedia project. There you can see the le koro song divided into bass, drums, flute, etc. Also I got the 'chant' from youtube, as I did with the flutesong. The bohrok, by the way, is going well. I will soon have the front view, but the back view will take a longer while (we have no images of it). Actually he gets older by 10 years every post, until about 8 posts from now, when he turns 5. LeKoro_Band Thinking ahead, where will we get models for characters not in the flash animations? (exo toa, cahdok, and gahdok) The models will have to be done the hard way: lots of scans of building instructions and image editing. *sigh*
  20. Isometric view... Working on it already. BTW, would you like a recolourable bohrok with no shelds (which will be ready later) or a pahrak (which would be ready soon)? Apart from that, if you are looking for music, I made a le-koro remix (not much really). You can find it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwGZLcj2F2U
  21. I'd talk to Nuparu directly if you're interested in helping with sprites, atm i don't know weather or not he needs it. I don't trust myself to play the telephone game here, haha. Thank you, I would very much like to help at something, so I can tell my grandchildren someday that I helped in such a great game. No, really, this project is so needed for us bionicle fans...
  22. Hmmm... So you are working on sprites... If you want any help on that area, I consider myself a good enough image editor, you know... Well, to sum up: if you want any sprites, I will gladly help. Also, I would like to ask if the gukko force will be present in the battle engine. A sort of strike which loads overtime? That would be cool. And boxors. Who doesn't like boxors? PS: In the battle engine, you said ta-koran instead of ta-koronan.
  23. *sigh* Yet again, I run out of arguments in a discussion with bones...
  24. 'desperately tries to defend his theory' The 'not knowing they would be nuva' would be the last argument I have for the multiple powers at once . The golden kanohi would give them the same powers when alone that the nuva would when they were together. In the comics we can see how 2 toa use their kanohi Miru and Pakari nuva to make the others fly with speed towards ta-koro. The 'multiple power' theory would give them the same powers, but without needing the help of the others. Artakha surely wanted to have the most powerful toa he could find, so he gave them the same abilities a Nuva has, but without giving them kanohi nuva? 'sees how his theory is dead'
  25. But rahi would get their kanohi broken also, and teridax would need a constant flow of masks coming in to infect them and give them to his rahi. And he had no access to any ta-matoran mask makers when he was in mangaia. Remember when the whole strength of Takutanuva was needed to lift the door to Meru nui and the rest of the universe (and ta-matoran). I still think that he somehow looted the whole city, or maybe other groups who came before the visorak and who served him. The voyage to metru nui fram mata nui is rather long (you have to cross half a head), and people could have gotten into Metru nui before the toa Metru or the Visorak. Skakdi, for example. I don't suppose that the visorak were at the doors of Metru nui when the toa metru left, and then quickly rushed in and conquered the place. They took some time to arrive. Anyway, Metru nui is full of hiding places. It could have been looted before the toa came looking for masks, and the toa could still get some. The arcives, for example, are huge.
