  1. IC: K-Tengu "We're close. It may have already noticed us, but I'm not fully sure." Kami said, slowing the Jaeger to a standstill behind the Kaiju. "Let's lunge now. A good, boosted leap and we would hit it before making impact with the sea." "Sounds like a plan." Suddenly, the vague outline of a Jaeger released a bloodcurdling battlecry. Tengu propelled itself forward before even uncloaking, arm blades deployed and superheated edges ready to draw Kaiju blue.
  2. My slit neck shoots a Frisbee at you, killing you as soon as it makes contact. My mask!
  3. IC: K-Tengu "You know what? Forget the radar." Kaze looked up, agape mouth displaying his species' signature maw. "Is that a... Kaiju?" "Hey, it's mint-in-sealed-box. How often do you get that?" The Jaeger circled it carefully, cautiously. Maybe it hadn't noticed yet; maybe she could draw even closer before announcing her presence. OOC: I have to go real soon, so Box Kaiju thing will have to endure the horrors of interaction lock for some time. Sorry.
  4. IC: K-Tengu - Zakaz Seas When the Jaeger didn't receive a response, she continued on her way, massive digitigrade legs moving deftly through the ocean. Her armor rippled for a moment before dissolving. "Cloaking active." "Check the radar. Any Kaiju?" "None. Yet." OOC: K-Tengu open to interaction.
  5. By small I mean tools, food, maybe the occasional sword if he concentrates extremely hard. As for the other guy, how about just simple impact vision?
  6. Analytical vision - the Skakdi sees the target's strengths and weaknesses to figure out the best way to defeat it. Telekinesis - the Skakdi can lift and move small objects.
  7. Oh, snap, I just realized that I forgot to give my dudes vision powers. Is it okay if Kami has analytical vision and Kaze has minor telekinesis vision?
  8. IC: K-Tengu - Zakaz Coastline [incoming transmission] "Our forces are still comparably low." Kami replied over the comlink, slowing the Jaeger down. "We've been holding out pretty well, and the general public of Zakaz are convinced we don't need any more." "We are Skakdi, after all. We'd take on Kaiju even without our Jaegers." Kaze smiled, even though he knew no-one could see it. "Anyway, we're out for a quick border patrol. You can accompany us if you want."
  9. IC: K-Tengu - Zakaz Coastline [incoming transmission] The two brothers listened to the other Jaeger's pilot. "Not much, actually," Kaze began."The only recent attacks were few and far between. We easily beat most of them back."
  10. I'm just interested, how do we move from island to island? Is crossing the sea by Jaeger feasible, or is there another type of transportation that allows inter-island travel?
  11. IC: Kami and Kaze - Zakaz Shatterdome Kami held out his hand to his brother, who took it gratefully and hauled himself onto his feet. Their armored steps echoed through the hangar, announcing their readiness to fight. They stepped onto a large elevator and it hummed to life, zooming upwards throughout the vast expanse of the machine bay. Through the reinforced glass Kame and Kaze could see the other Jaegers, gigantic and monstrous in their own right. The brothers continued onto a suspended platform that led to their Jaeger. Killer Tengu's 'head' was opened up, allowing the duo of Skakdi to fit themselves into the control gear. Various metal panels attached to their armor. When the final part - a spine covering - was put into place, the Jaeger's head closed up, revealing a visored facemask with a sharp lower jaw and large horn. Then the Drift kicked in. There was nothing new in this. The duo had done this countless times already, and were completely ready for the flood of information from each other. It felt as if a barrier between the two had dissipated, allowing them to see everything in each other's minds and work in complete sync. "Are we go?" "We are go." The Jaeger made a tentative step forward, then another. A large hangar door - about one and a half the Jaeger's height - slid up, revealing the bright light outside. A few more steps brought Killer Tengu onto warm sand (not that she could feel it), and with a dozen more she was already wading deep into the sea. OOC: Killer Tengu open for interaction on the Zakaz coastline.
  12. Bro, you are really lucky Vlad and Drift are pacifists. Unless Vlad goes 'scary Russian cannibal maniac' on you.
  13. Not sure about how it is here, but, in Pacific Rim, the Kaiju are heavily implied to have a sort of 'hive-mind' - Otachi and Leatherback are shown to flawlessly work together without much open communication, implying a telepathic link between the two or at least a very powerful genetic programming from the Precursors. Again, not sure what the case is here, just an interesting tidbit of information.
  14. Looks pretty good, but I don't really like the head accessories the Ultron drones have (they look much better with Ultron's own facemask piece). Also, where's [removed spoilers]?
  15. IC: Drift Drift nodded in affirmation. "He's been dead for a while." Suddenly, Drift caught herself. "I mean the bird's owner, not... Vlad." That was seriously awkward. She shot Vlad an apologetic glance before continuing on. "We last saw the Gukko in my dorm. I think he should still be somewhere in the school, and your help in finding him would be sincerely appreciated." OOC: Last post of the night.
  16. I love you guys. You just gave me an excuse to draw giant robots. For those of you who aren't Pacific Rim nerds, K-Tengu here is based off of an official Jaeger, Tacit Ronin. For those of you non-Japan nerds, a Tengu is a Japanese demon-raven-goblin-thing. Yeah.
  17. IC: Kami and Kaze - Zakaz Shatterdome "Here." Kami grunted, flinging a spare wrench at Kaze's head. The latter caught it expertly, feeling its weight for a moment before resuming his work. Kami dropped his manual onto his seat and strode over to his brother, hard at work on the latest improvement. "What's your brain cooking up now?" He asked playfully, practicing an uppercut as he watched over Kaze, hard at work. "Modifying her thrusters. They should now propel her 100.35% farther than her normal leap length." This statement was met by a questioning gaze. "It may not seem like much," he conceded. "But it may mean the difference between life and death on the battlefield." "Well, you haven't led me wrong yet. Let's test 'er out."
  18. I'm just- yeah, I'll shut up now.
  19. IC: Drift Drift turned to Zubarahk. "Thanks, in advance, for your help. Your name...?"
  20. I dunno, artificially boosting a character's kill count seems beneath you. Shark is fully capable of killing non-throwaway characters, so it's not really benefitting him from an OOC point of view.
  21. IC: Kami and Kaze - Zakaz Shatterdome Kaze stood, his hands still dirty with Jaeger grease. "Kami! Have you seen my wrench?" He called over to his brother, who was reading a combat manual nearby. OOC: Open for interaction. Also, first PC post! Score!
