  1. IC: Dahl "Don't believe everything you here." I say in response to Limon, smiling a little, before turning to the newcomer. "And good morning to you as well, good sir Chief." I bow while I say this. "I suppose that you don't quite know your way around here yet?"
  2. IC: Draco For a brief moment, I consider continuing on with the fight. After all, I could do more damage than just this. But I just shake my head and place Necrosmith back on my back, before offering a helping hand to Punishment, who was lying flat on his back. I have nothing to prove here. "Don't think there's much point in going on. Once you're on your back, it's basically over. But it was a good duel." I say, smiling. IC: Carraig "The winged one was countering the other's attacks, forcing them to go on the defensive. Once that happened, the winged one could go full offensive. Then, it was only a matter of time." I say in response to Danger's comments. I can't be like him. I must not fall, even to the most vicious of storms. IC: Mortsia I give Toxitora Junior a simple nod.
  3. IC: Draco The kick hits my thigh dead on, and I grunt in pain as I take a step back, wincing. But then, I smile. Even though this wasn't quite the reaction I had anticipated, everything still worked out. I let go one of my hands, adjusting the scythe at the same time so that the inner blade is parallel to Punishment's back. "That's game." I draw back my open hand, clench it into a fist, and thrust it forward straight at Punishment's chest, while at the same time pulling back on the hand holding onto the scythe, with the idea that I would send him back into the blade, creating a deep, deep cut, one that would potentially be fatal to any being that wasn't a Rahkshi. IC: Shock I slowly move away from Dissent and Whisper, just trying to finish up my task of cleaning so I could go heal and get on to better things. IC: Carraig I nod at Danger's comments, before continuing to watch. IC: Mortsia I think for a moment. How long had I been here? It's been a while. I think to myself, somewhat amused. A thought comes to me, and I begin to say slowly: "I have seen the terror and fall Of those villagers, oh so frightened Of the beasts who roamed these halls Who were fought over until their end. I have seen the downfall of pride and the rise of rage and war, as well those who have defied and those loyal to their core. I have seen death and loss, the rise of the many of one, the coming of the false gods, and the cycle once again begun. My time here cannot be defined By mere numbers, but events entwined." I fall silent after this. It's been a while indeed.
  4. IC: Shock I just stare at Whisper. You've got to be kidding me. This isn't someone movement for freedom at all! This is either petty revenge from an angry child, or some other Makuta put her up to this. I sigh. "Well, I ain't going to tell on you, so your secret is safe with me, but I'm not helping you anymore. Have fun with your... Quest." I say, already moving away to finish cleaning.
  5. IC: Dahl "I am a Rahkshi of dodge. Not standard colors, mind you, but..." I shrug. "Anyways, makes things a whole lot easier." IC: Shock I think for a moment. There's definitely a few, I can tell you that, but I don't think there's any who would act on that hatred. They're strong, plain and simple." I pause for a moment, then, in a much quieter voice, ask, "What's your game here? Planning some kinda uprising against Icarax?"
  6. IC: Dahl "Thought you said anything was good?" I say, amused, before going on. "Unfortunately no. Doesn't even taste that good. Though I've heard there's a coupla aspiring chefs roaming around, so maybe you could get your fill on... Exquisite dishes." IC: Mortsia I think for a moment on how I could introduce myself in my normal form of speech while not sounding completely full of myself, before giving up and just saying, "I'm Mortsia." IC: Draco I land, growling slightly at the fact that I missed, before recovering, and turning to Punishment, smirking slightly. "I believe our duel is nearly over." I sheath my swords, and once again draw Necrosmith in scythe mode. I take a step forward towards Punishment, bringing my arms back to do the classic executioner style slash at Punishment's torso, before slashing at him with my powers assisting the speed.
  7. IC: Shock I ponder over Whisper's question for a moment. Why we're the Loyalists... Loyal? "I don't honestly know. You could have those who just want power, but there's also those that worship the Makuta as gods. I think the latter is more common, truth be told, but I don't know for sure. As for who they are... Let's see. There's Recherche, the big golden boi who speaks in big words. Grim, a Rahkshi with the head of a traitor perched on their shoulder. Unshakably loyal. Draco, another big Rahkshi who looks kinda dragon like(ridiculous, if ya ask me). Very proud and full of himself. Then you got Shark, who's also pretty big, and is just... Unnervingly silent. Has one big spine. Finally, Sliver. Smallest of the group, but unfortunately, the nastiest. Total sadist, doesn't care about much except herself. Black on one side, white on the other."
  8. IC: Shock "There's a difference between not being strong enough and not having enough of yourself. Sure, he could just zap one of us away with the wave of his hand, and probably could rely on only his own power and presence to keep us in check. Tridax thought he could do that. Didn't exactly go out as planned. No matter how powerful you are, unless you clone yourself, you can't be everywhere at once to make sure that students not thinking of rebelling against the system. Icarax probably knows this, which is why he made the nastiest and the most loyal Rahks his Prefects in the first place. He's cautious, plain and simple. Besides, even if the Prefects all got up and left, there will always be a group of Loyalists willing to lick his boots clean. He has support, no matter what you do."
  9. IC: Dahl I nod, and start walking to the Refectory, Limon presumably following. "Was it a long journey here?" I ask, at an attempt to start up some form of conversation. Still horrible at that, by the way. IC: Shock I point to Orloc. "This guy gets it. We can't do much in the face of absolute power. Besides, there's too many Loyalists around to form a plan with the majority of the student body. Now I don't know how long you've been around here, but back when I was but a wee lad, there was this complete idiot runnin' round here named Mangai. Declared his rebellion right in front of me and... Me." I pause for a moment, reminiscing on the past, before continuing. "Anyways, this sparked a series of events that led to a group of minute-Rahks hunting down anyone suspected of being a traitor. I was one of those suspected, too. Hadn't done anything, but there I was, in front of Tridax." "Now the way he went about rebelling was... Well, there ain't much you can do that's dumber. But now, you bring in Icarax, who was probably informed of the whispers of rebellion, and he goes along and makes a few students these Prefects to enforce his will and 'protect the student body'. If they even suspect you of rebellion, they will put you down without a second thought. I mean, look what happened to me!" I turn around for Whisper for her to see my back. "The winged oaf dealt out this punishment. And what did I do? I picked a fight. At a school for Rahkshi. So unless you're some Mastermind who can oh so cleverly hide away any and all plans, I suggest you just lay low, and when you get the chance, run. "
  10. IC: Shock "We can make our own choices? Perhaps we have the ability to. You're not wrong about that. But if you don't have the power or the mind to protect your freedom, then when it comes to a greater power, you are the slave to their choices, and you become powerless to fight for those rights. That's just how the world works. And the Makuta are far, far stronger than us." I say bitterly, remembering that blasted psycho who killed Nightmare. I clench my fist in anger.
  11. IC: Dahl Ah, well. It was worth a shot. Maybe next time... "That would be the Refectory. The food itself..." I sigh and shale my head. "Just some tasteless gruel. I can show you if you would like."
  12. IC: Dahl "Dahl Chien, at your service. I say, recovering from my bow. "You can call me Dahl though. Okay, strange question, but are you offering up any quests or adventures?"
  13. IC: Dahl So there I am, walking around the school, minding my own business, when I hear a "hello?" From around the corner. Someone new? Deciding to investigate, I turn the corner to see a green Rahkshi, standing in the doorway. "Why hello there. I suppose you're a new arrival to the school?" I say, bowing in greeting while smiling.
  14. IC: Shock At this, I just laughed. "Reason for existing? Let me tell you something: there is no good reason we exist. We're accidents, freaks of nature. The only reason we're kept around in the first place is because we are apparently interesting. We have no reason to exist and our lives have no impact on anyone outside of these walls. Our existence is meaningless."
  15. IC: Shock Okay, I couldn't just stand around and listen. I had to throw my two cents in. I glance around, making sure there were no Loyalists out for blood, before shuffling over to Orloc and Whisper. "You really think you could just waltz on over, and say, 'Haha! I know you are lying!' and have it end at that? Nah, they may live on a lie, but they're strong enough to maintain it."
  16. IC: Shock I stop my cleaning and look over to Whisper. "Huh. Somebody with some actual common sense here. How rare."
  17. IC: Draco I was not going to give Punishment any time to think. As soon as my punch landed, I leap towards the black and crimson Rahkshi, adjusting my swords to be ready to slash at him head on... Or so it appeared. In actuality, I land just in front of him, before using my cyclone powers to halt my momentum, and jumping to the side of Punishment, turning in the air to slash at my opponent's side. IC: Mortsia I look down at Toxitora Junior, before dropping down to the ground. Standing up, I give a simple shake of my head. IC: Shock Quietly, I whisper under my breath, "Sounds like a completely boring and utterly useless way of life." in response to Orloc's nonsense.
  18. IC: Draco As my blade cut into Punishment's shoulder, I rip out my sword. Without missing a beat, I flip my grip on the hilt of the same sword so as to not experience any resistance by hitting Punishment's outstretched arm, and aim a solid punch straight at Punishment's chest to push him back, my powers pushing my arm faster than most Rahkshi could ever dream of. With a little luck, this would knock him onto his back. IC: Dahl Man, what a bore this place is. Cool things just don't happen anymore like they used to. I let out a loud sigh as I stretch my arms above my head. Life can't be this dull forever, right? Maybe someone'll come along, offer some crazy wild quest to me, get to see amazing sights, and perhaps even get the girl. Wouldn't be opposed to that, or some other kinda shenanigans. I smile to myself as I continue walking on through the halls, looking for some kind of thrill. IC: Carraig I continue leaning on my sword, watching the fight. The winged Rahkshi was a relentless whirlwind of power, plain and simple. This is the mountain I must climb against. I must be able to resist even this power, and laugh in the face of that maelstrom. I clench my fist, pumped up. Nothing would stop me from achieving my goal and becoming the ultimate mountain of power. IC: Shock As I continue to clean up the Refectory, I sigh as I look around. So many Rahkshi, just chilling, and eating the forsaken food that is Refectory gruel. As I continue looking, I do a double take. There was Nightmare, talking with... me. Or at least, a younger, more enthusiastic me. We were probably discussing some nefarious plan to take over the school, craftily becoming the new overlords of the school and throwing hands with anyone who disagreed with us. I shake my head, and the image vanished. A pang of sadness washed over me. Those days were gone. But... Maybe that could change soon. Once I was done with this, I would seek out that Rahkshi who threw the tournament which I so spectacularly lost, and ask to join him. Maybe, just maybe, he would help me avenge Nightmare. Because right now, I wasn't even strong enough to fight a coupla scrubs. I smile as I continue to clean. IC: Mortsia I continue swinging through the halls, looking for anyone who could perhaps advise me about the horrid visions I was having. OOC: Dahl, Mortsia, and Shock OFI.
  19. IC: Draco As Punishment lunges towards me, I decide to try something a little fancy for me.I take a step to the inside of Punishment's weapon arm, and as it passes me, I send out a quick burst of wind to off put the weapon. While I do this, I spin around, and slice both of my swords at his chest.
  20. IC: Draco "You would be correct in your assumption." I reply, smirking slightly as I in turn advance towards Punishment, clearly not afraid of him. With that being said, I mentally prepared myself for a variety of attacks.
  21. IC: Draco I could have pursued Punishment with another swing of my hammer, but decided against it. Didn't want this fight to end like that, did we? Besides, I wanted to switch it up. I twirl Necrosmith once, before putting it back on my back and drawing my swords. "Had enough yet?" I say, taking a defensive stance.
  22. IC: Draco Finally! An opening! As Punishment's momentum took him forward, I activated my powers, and bounded forwards, converting Necrosmith back into its hammer form, and aimed a solid upwards swing at my opponent's lower back. IC: Carraig I whistle. For a Rahkshi of that size to have that sort of speed... He has to have some kind of trick to do stuff like that. I thought, unfamiliar with Cyclone and its power and potential.
  23. IC: Draco I smile as I bring up Necrosmith, with the butt end of the weapon resting on the ground, and step towards the outside of Punishment. The blade scrapes past the handlde, and as it passes on, I slash with the scythe, with intention of stabbing my opponent in the back with the tip end of Necrosmith, and start absorbing his energy.
  24. IC: Draco I shift my body further away from Punishment, causing the spiked mace to only scratch my armor with the spikes. While I'm stepping away, howrver' I shift Necrosmith so it's just behind Punishment's leg, before converting it to scythe mode and yanking it towards me. As I pull, I send a blast of powerful winds at Punishment's upper half, with the intention to knock him off of his feet, causing him to lose balance.
  25. IC: Draco In response, I calmly lower the head of my hammer into the ground, but as soon as it touched the ground, powerful cyclonic winds were released from me. The area around me was a storm, and I was the eye of it. As quickly as they had started, the winds stopped. It was purely an act of show, just to give Punishment a small taste of what he was up against. I pick up my hammer, and almost casually strolled up to him. When I was in range, however, my casual stroll instantly switched to a powerful swing to strike at his side, propelled by cyclonic winds.
