  1. Hi everyone, I have something fairly unusual for you all: an attempt at making the classic Toa Kaita from the new Uniter sets! Disclaimer time: The leg design for Wairuha was directly inspired by JakTheMad's Ultimate Wairuha on the BZPower Flickr Group. HOWEVER, this, along with the rest of Wairuha, has been reworked, redesigned, and customized to use only pieces from the Uniters and suit my personal style of building. While Akamai does use some similar techniques, he is even further removed from the original source (Not that you can tell ). None of this is meant to infringe on or take credit for JakTheMad's innovative design. If the similarities are here considered problematic, I have no issue with this topic being dragged to the pit by Botar. Link to Imgur Gallery (also features a frightened Umarak and a few possible Unity modes): https://imgur.com/a/wOvdQ I tried to incorporate as many features from the Uniters as possible; Both figures have a full waist swivel function and can unite with most of the creatures. The weapons can switch between two one-handed weapons and one two-handed weapon per figure. Akamai's weapon hilariously features Onua's six-shooter, Tahu's extending blade function, and Pohatu's wrecking ball in one goofy-looking gadget. Also, if anyone wants to build these guys, I'll be working on step-by-step instructions for them. Thanks for checking this out!
  2. Lies! The UN can punctuate correctly! I think you mean "headcanon head cannon". Much better, thank you.
  3. Power Scream for me. It would make arguments a lot shorter. Demolition crews would be outmoded within a week.
  4. Incredible MoC! I'm not sure which is better: the scaled-up Huki or his drumset. Also, I'm glad someone found a use for the Glatorian Lifecounters.
  5. The first order of business would be to build an intergalactic warship, send it to find and destroy the Hero Factory Assembly Tower, and bring the molten material back to Earth. From there, we would reconstruct the molten metal into a giant robot, Farshtey-Nui. All who refuse to migrate to Farshtey-Nui will be branded as "Piraka" and incinerated by the robot's canonization eyebeams.
  6. My least favorite aspect of the new sets would have to be the use of only one new detail/armor piece. That's not to say I don't like the new sets; the new heads, masks, and weapons all impress me very much and bring a great deal of diversity to our new Bonkles. Still, I feel more could be done with that armor... In all fairness, though, I'll still try to buy them all.
  7. I voted for Pohatu, with his upside-down build and brown/tan color scheme. Besides, no one can beat his super-powered feet.
  8. Entry #4: The Distant A long time ago, The Distant was once a normal villager on the island of Okoto. Deep inside, however, he coveted power above all else. At one point, he stole an ancient and evil artifact: the Staff of Pirah. Using the staff, he attempted to give himself power over all the elements. His evil ritual was stopped, but not before he gave himself the powers of Fire and Stone. Exiled and forever shunned from his village, The Distant clung to his staff. Over the centuries of wandering in the mountains, the Staff of Pirah augmented and twisted his form. A hideous black mutation began to creep up his left arm, where he held the staff. Whenever it touches another being, the Staff of Pirah infects them with the creeping black mutation, putting them under its control. As a result of the staff’s terrifying power, The Distant needs no other armaments besides his elemental powers and the staff itself. Entry Pic Gallery
  9. Entry #3: Tarsorat Backstory: A warrior from a distant land, Tarsorat came to Okoto when six burning stars fell from the sky. Having heard legends of these stars, and the warriors contained within, Tarsorat decided to seek them out, and, one by one, defeat the mighty warriors to become the greatest fighter in the universe. After journeying for many months, he finally arrived on the mystical island. At this point, he was frozen in a massive ice blast from Toa Kopaka. He has yet to thaw. Tarsorat is armed with two arm-mounted grapples. In combat, he uses his natural speed and jumping ability as much as possible. Entry Pic Gallery
  10. Entry #2: Pokraknar Backstory: It is said that somewhere, deep in the deserts of Okoto, there lurks a terrifying creature. This creature, supposedly, feeds on emotions, but fear is its favorite. As some in the Stone Tribe know all too well, these rumors, tall tales, and whispers in the dark are true. This creature has a name: Pokraknar. Although Pokraknar usually projects horrifying mental images onto desert travelers, nibbling away at their fear from afar, the creature has sometimes been known to take a more direct approach. Shuffling through the sands on all three legs, it will sometimes attack caravans directly, allowing it to feast on all of its target’s emotions at once. This process, however, leaves them lifeless, empty husks. The last sight of many unlucky islanders is Pokraknar’s massive hand as it descends on its prey. Very little is known about the beast’s true capabilities, but its single, staring eye is said to be the source of its psychic abilities and its hand has a vice-like grip that can crush and squeeze its enemies into submission. 11. Entry #1: Kravohka Backstory: This monstrosity came into being in Okoto’s distant past, and its creators are lost to time. All that is known of Kravokah’s origin is that it was made to defend Okoto from a prophesized threat that was imbued with all the elemental powers. When the mysterious threat was unleashed, Kravokah would awaken from its slumber and destroy the evil. However, this did not go as planned. During its many millennia of sleep, Kravokah’s programming became corrupted. So little was known about the prophesized evil that, as the would-be defender’s mind warped and snapped, it “realized” that any being on the island could become it. After its “revelation”, Kravokah awakened and began to pick off the islanders. Convinced that the islanders each harbored powerful, multi-elemental abilities, it would spend years stalking them, processing their every movement, before revealing itself and striking. The being’s mind was so twisted that, when the very evil it was made to destroy came into being, it did not notice. Kravokah is armed with many weapons, which are integrated into its body. When preparing to attack, some or all of these weapons emerge from its arms, legs, and torso. The abomination’s favorite seems to be its wrist-mounted blades, to the point where it sometimes forgoes use of other, more powerful weapons to use them. Entry Pic Link Gallery Link
