  1. I spent all night talking my girlfriends ear off about how hyped I am for this. This literally could the dream come true of a bionicle show. I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up, in case it just a comp of the current animations, but it's so hard for me to contain it. I honestly don't think it would just be re release of the current animations. A new show, or even just a movie, would be super beneficial to the line. Oh my god I am hyped. I am explode.

  2. I would have maybe liked to see the Nuva back in there original Nuva forms, fighting together as a team. Maybe they could have fought their way into the control center of the GSR with the help of mini mata nui, and overridden teridax's control. It could have been a final epic journey through the matoran universe. Mata nui could have then resumed his control of the GSR, reunited the pieces of spherus magna, given his speech to all the matoran and Agori and what not, and then taken back off into the outer universe to continue his journey of learning. Or maybe in his act of replenishing the planet, it would drain the GSR fully and we could have had basically the same ending.

That all being said though, I do love the final fistfight between the two super robots. A final

Confrontation of terry and mata nui is pretty much the perfect ending scenario. All of the other stuff going on during their fight, and the build up to it, is a little whacky and wild, but the actual even of the two robots fighting just plain rules. I just wish we got a movie or animation where we got to see them beat each other up. The idea of mata nui using an actual piece of the planet to destroy teridax forever is just awesome. It's like the perfect nail in the coffin of teridax's reign.

Does anyone here have the new sphero bb-8? My girlfriend surprised me today with one. I absolutely love it. It makes me wish he was really real though and followed me around and hung out with me. I still love it though.

i am afraid I have no idea of as to what the heck you are talking about, nor about what the heck this is.

    Story time. :D (explain)

BB-8 is the droid featured in The Force Awakens. Sphero is a company that has made a miniature version, that you control remotely through a smartphone. It's pretty amazing and I suggest googling it.

  5. Krekka. The only truly good thing about the set design was the legs. The arms were too thin, and the torso and head were a mess. In spite of all that, I just can't help but like him, for some reason. Maybe it's just because I like really bulky sets, or the fact that he had some decent recolors, I dunno.

Oh man I loooove krekka. I totally get why people don't like his set but I love it so much. It's so robotic and clunky and awkward and perfect

  6. I agree that this is one of the better of 6.  He actually has a couple functions which are cool. The fact that his pistols attach to his thighs is definitely very, very awesome. The jetpack it also awesome.  My only complaints are the lack of armor on the back of his lower legs and the gappyness between his jetpack and torso.  Even with that said, I still think he is awesome.

I literally just got the Titan mech battle last night and I really love it. I meant to vote for mech-enstein but I clicked zane's Titan mech by accident. Both of them honestly rule though and are probably the best two mechs we've seen yet. Jays electro mech is really nice as well though, the folding sword/wings I've always really liked.

How do you feel about Mechenstein's leg posability? Other reviews have complained that the number of positions the legs can be in are limited by the shape of the ankles and feet, and I found the same to be the case when building it on Lego Digital Designer.

Thats the only downside to the set.  The way the sets are designed, a single ball joint acts as the ankle.  Since the mechenstein is pretty top heavy, the back side of the ankle has a 2x3 wedge piece sticking out for extra support in the back.  You really can only pose its legs in a regular standing position.  Zane's mech is a little less top heavy, so the ankles don't need extra support, and therefore you get just a little bit more posability.  They both lack knees though, so they both can't really move their legs all that much.  If only they had knees, they'd both be perfect.  Other than that, I think they are the most impressive of the mechs.  They certainly look the best to me.  I do enjoy posing my sets and playing with them/taking pictures of them so I guess i should've thought harder before making my pick.  I guess I still like them the best, but I really love jay's electro mech as well.

Honestly, my favorite set on the list is the mech dragon, but I felt like it doesn't belong on there since it's not a humanoid mech like every other set on the list.

  9. 2005. Mutant Toa. Evil spiders. Sidorak. Web of shadows. Vakama doing tons of really dark stuff. Most of my favorite things in bionicle all came from one year. I know this opinion isn't very popular, but I stand by it. This was the year I was most into bionicle as a younger person, before I entered my dark ages.

  10. I've been paying attention waiting for one I really want and I should finally have one when this round of auctions ends. I reaaaalllllly hope web of shadows ones show up some day. I would so so so love to have one from any of the scenes with sidorak and roodaka. That movie is probably my favorite part of bionicle lore.

Has anyone else noticed that the Toa who only have the gear function in one arm all have said function in their right arm?

The same was true of the one-handed geared Toa in G1. In a society dominated by righties, you don't see a lot of left-handed action figures.

I mean, there were some arguably left-handed figures, but they happened after gears were long gone.

The kulta/ekimu/scorpio combiner has the gear function in the left arm. Jus sayyiinnn
