IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) The volcano had a menacing and uncomfortable aura to it. The state of the land around it was charred and still burning in some places--evidence of a recent eruption, maybe. Triage realized his coffee had gone cold. He looked to Berys. "We'll land close by, then take the Kahu the rest of the way. Just like I said." Triage looked at it like the volcano itself would come alive and attack them. "I'll be honest, I don't...like this place." @BULiK

IC: Jutori - Patiwairutiki Cockpit The notification was a bit of a surprise--Jutori had not seen all the things adaptive armor could do yet. He accepted the call, icons representing Knichou, Kilo, and Nale all appearing in his peripheral vision. "I could ask you two the same," Jutori replied to the commander of the Taku. "We were heading for the Sphere before it...you know. Now we're aiming for the Vahki hive that was floating around it. Might wanna keep your distance, we're about do a special maneuver." He glanced to Kilo before continuing. "The Admin told you to come here too, didn't it? IC: Nale Vella - Zakaz Airspace (Mi-Kiri Proximity) "Sort of," Nale replied. "I'm guessing we're all here for the same thing, and I'm guessing you two didn't have anything to do with the ball in the sky coming down." @BULiK@~Xemnas~@pokemonlover360 IC: Korio, Kanohi Dragon of Loyalty - Mata Nui's Head He didn't understand why the corpse-god's skull was speaking to him, but he obliged anyway, unleashing more hellfire on the remains of the Builder civilization's great city. IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) The medic's attention was pulled away from his passengers to the radio. He looked to Berys with concern, his normally shaky hands trembling just a bit more as they held his coffee. He wasn't sure how to respond to Knichou, instead turning to Vashni. "...that can't be good. Looks like they're beating you to Ehlek, though." @BULiK IC: Nale Vella - Aurax's Airship (Mi-Kiri Proximity) Nale nodded in response, her own armor preparing itself for flight. Her Kraata twitched in anticipation of falling into open sky. The Fa-Toa did not even wait for Knichou--she almost immediately leapt out of the emergency exit hatch and her thrusters kicked in. She brought herself to a hover, facing the airship, expecting her partner to come next. IC: Jutori - Patiwairutiki Cockpit Jutori looked over his shoulder in the cockpit, hearing the ship's horn and Saybo. It was difficult to make out what was being said over the loudspeaker as the mech rose further towards the hive, but it sounded like he said something about Knichou. "Can't they use a radio? Whatever, I guess we can call them back after we do this..." @~Xemnas~@pokemonlover360

IC: Jutori - Patiwairutiki Cockpit Jutori froze up upon realizing the sphere was falling. His focus on his element did not falter, however, even as he expected the structure to collide with their mech. Kilo acted quickly, moving them out of the way of danger and avoiding the sphere. Making sure his parachute had not prematurely opened in the cockpit, he then watched the plan play out in his mind and nodded. "It's good enough for me." @pokemonlover360

IC: Nale Vella - Aurax's Airship (Mi-Kiri Proximity) Nale had said little as Knichou retrieved her former lover and ally's weapon. If she wanted to be quippy, she would have asked why he had not taken it before, but instead she stayed silent--like the funeral was being carried out all over again. The Nynran had, in a somewhat poetic choice, modified the weapon with nanites to create something that Datrox Karvan would have killed for in life. Something new had been created from the remains of the past, much like when Knichou first created her spear from the scraps of her life from before the crash. Nale gave him a knowing look as they boarded the airship, giving a final glance behind the pair of Toa to the remains of Metru-Koro. Datrox's cenotaph now lacked its weapon, but still stood vigilant over the abandoned and dusty village. She wondered if, once all of the crumbling structures had decayed, it would still be there. A reminder of a complicated history, represented by a complicated man. Eventually, they reached Mi-Kiri airspace. Saybo's voice came over the radio, delivering surprising news. "So it seems like the Aqua Sphere is falling, but Ehlek's Vahki hive is still in the air. Also, there's a giant flying robot outside." Nale looked to her partner and the Exo-Toa with them. "I guess the sphere's coming to us. Giant flying robot...one of the NUVA mechs, you think?" @BULiK@~Xemnas~@Snelly IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) Triage nodded to Vashni, then turned to the trio. "It's pretty simple, the machine does it all for you," he said, pointing to the coffee maker. "Just place a mug under it, press the button, and wait a moment." At their question of what the drink was, he simply gave them a blank look before saying, "Just try it." From behind he could hear the footsteps of smaller beings, and he swiveled around his chair again to see some of the Matoran from Ko-Pou, attracted by the smell of fresh coffee. "Oh, hey everyone...you're not staying here in Tobduk-Koro?" IC: Rose (MC) - The Taku "Even better," she said to Arnex. "Bigger guns, more guns--both are good." @BULiK@Snelly@Toru Nui@Vezok's Friend IC: Korio, Kanohi Dragon of Loyalty - Mata Nui's Head Korio hissed in delight upon receiving the order he had been awaiting. He did a lap around the sky, not paying much mind to the head's own movements, before diving down and unleashing a stream of fire on it. He would burn it to ashes--leave no trace of the corpse-god. @EmperorWhenua@pokemonlover360

"I get why you want to finish things with Ehlek," he then said to Vashni, "maybe you should go after him. Maybe Knichou and Nale could help, wherever...wherever they went." IC: Nale Vella - Metru-Koro Ruins ("Datrox Plaza") "I'm sure Aurax doesn't mind us borrowing his things," she said, smirking. Once Saybo and Varian were aboard, she turned to Knichou. "Shouldn't we be heading out already? Mi-Kiri's not waiting on us." IC: Rose (MC) - The Taku "Good. More monsters to shoot at, maybe," Rose said, enthusiastic. IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) "I uh--I saw most of it. Ehlek clawing at his neck like that..." Triage took a more somber sip of his coffee before continuing. When he spoke again, his tone seemed more comedic than anything--an attempt to lift the mood. "Surprised he showed his face again after that, knowing there was someone around who could turn him into an eel or something. Maybe he's afraid of you." @Snelly

IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) Triage nodded to Gnabol and waved casually to the half-empty bag of black brew next to the coffee maker to mean "yes." He looked over his shoulder at Vashni. "Oh, Ehlek...I still don't understand what's going on with that, but I doubt it has to do with the volcano." He stared into the dark reflection of his drink for a moment. "You've really got it out for him, don't you? I saw it in your memories." @Snelly@Toru Nui

IC: Nale Vella - Metru-Koro Ruins ("Datrox Plaza") "Oh, alright." Nale looked to Aurax's unattended airship, then glanced to Knichou. She pointed to the parked vehicle. "Are we flying that?" she asked Saybo. "I mean, the alternative is we use jetpacks and carry you." @BULiK@~Xemnas~ IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) "From what I hear: the monsters that keep threatening the island, and a general aura of scariness." Triage took another sip, taking a seat in Knichou's chair and swiveling it to face the windshield. Even if the role had been thrust upon him against his will, he was beginning to realize he could get used to these surroundings. Especially the view and the coffee maker. @Snelly IC: Rose (MC) - The Taku Rose grunted to Vhisola in a way that sounded like "I don't know." IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) Triage smiled. "I don't blame you." He made Vashni a cup of the black brew. Taking a sip of his own, he said, "You missed a few things. We're heading to the volcano." @Snelly IC: Nale Vella - Metru-Koro Ruins ("Datrox Plaza") Typical Stannis, she thought. Nale watched Aurax depart, leaving them with Saybo, who appeared to be the Su-Toa's servant. She cocked her head to one side, a look of concern on her face. IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) Triage made a cup of coffee for himself. As he was about to sit down he remembered Vashni was there, and lightly tapped the Ce-Toa on the shoulder. "Hey, need some wake-up juice?" IC: Rose (MC) - The Taku (Ramp) "Feels like we just got here," Rose said. She shrugged and started walking back up the ramp. "Whatever, we were going too long without action anyway." @BULiK@Snelly

IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) "Good, great," Triage said, to both Ulkarr's group and the Le-Matoran pilot. "Berys, inform the crew. Make sure everyone who hasn't disembarked yet does so, unless they're interested on joining us for this." IC: Rose (MC) - The Taku (Ramp) "I didn't say anything." @BULiK@Toru Nui

IC: Nale Vella - Metru-Koro Ruins ("Datrox Plaza") "Fine. Mostly the same," Nale replied, smiling a bit to reassure Knichou. She could feel the Kraata on her back. She would get used to it. "I got what I wanted, so did Aurax. Everything works out, right?" @BULiK@~Xemnas~@EmperorWhenua IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) Triage shook his head and placed his hands on Berys' shoulders. IC: Nale Vella - Metru-Koro Ruins ("Datrox Plaza") Hello, Goodbye There was little apprehension as Nale felt the slug-like creature creep onto her body and firmly place itself at her upper back. At first, her adaptive armor did not know what to think of the Kraata and whether it was friend or foe, but once it was clear that it was part of her now the nanites proceeded to cover it like any other exposed armor or muscle on her body, leaving openings for the creature's eyes. She was now bound to Caedast, and, unknown to Nale at the moment, had joined the others in the Aspect's small team of summonable warriors. Another at Caedast's beck and call. Nale let out a deep sigh. It was done. She placed a hand on her chest and closed her optics. "Thank you, once-brother." She looked to Knichou and Aurax for their reactions. OOC: Nale now has a Level 6 Kraata of Elasticity. @BULiK@~Xemnas~@EmperorWhenua IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) "The volcano at the center of the island," Triage answered as the advanced coffee maker did its job. "We'll fly there and then take a trip down into its heart to find whoever's creating these monsters and put a stop to it. At least, that's what they're saying." IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) "Irrational, yes. But it's the body's way of telling us something is wrong, after all." The medic turned to Berys. "Sorry to disturb you so soon," Triage said, pulling a small bag from his satchel and placing it in the sleepy Le-Matoran pilot's hand. "But it sounds like we have a way to stop the giant monster attacks--permanently. And we're gonna need someone to fly us." If Berys were to read the label, he would see that it said in Matoran as followed: Classic Black Brew For The Morning Person In You! @BULiK@Toru Nui

IC: Nale Vella - Metru-Koro Ruins ("Datrox Plaza") She looked to her partner and Aurax. Yes, she had seen what it could do to Aurax. But Aurax was different. She had put her trust in Stan-Caedast before, even when she had not known the Aspect's true form. Even now, she was putting her trust in the not-Toa as an ally to help stop the end. To fix everything. Nale would allow this...ritual to happen, because she believed that Caedast would not treat her the same. Because she still believed in the idea of Stannis. Because the end was nigh for Zakaz, and they were going to do everything they could to stop it. "...you wouldn't understand." She looked again to Caedast. "Grant me this. But not as a servant. As your friend." @BULiK@~Xemnas~@EmperorWhenua IC: Jutori - Patiwairutiki Cockpit Jutori had expected more difficulty in using his element on the mech, but his upgraded control over it from his Proxima seemed to be helping. His adaptive armor had taken on a form like something a Le-Matoran test pilot would wear, and a nanite parachute was at the ready in case Patiwairutiki's flight went awry. He observed the Aqua Sphere. It was less "aqua" and more "flying city." "Sure looks different up close," the Ba-Toa said. "See any good places to land? Any points of interest?" @pokemonlover360 IC: Rose (MC) - The Taku (Bridge) "No, and it's kind of weirding me out." @BULiK

IC: Nale Vella - Metru-Koro Ruins ("Datrox Plaza") Nale was quiet for a moment, looking down at her boots. The statue--rather, the grave marker--of Datrox was casting a shadow over her. She was clearly thinking long and hard about something. Finally, she raised her head and looked to Caedast. Her tone was certain. "...take Aurax's Kraata, and grant one to me." @BULiK@~Xemnas~@EmperorWhenua IC: Rose (MC) - The Taku (Ramp) Rose already disliked Vahki, but having to hear them argue was even worse. She returned Arnex's glance. "What is even happening?" she whispered to the Onu-Matoran. "Are they malfunctioning?" @BULiK

IC: Nale Vella - Metru-Koro Ruins ("Datrox Plaza") The village came back into focus as the memory ended, concluding their journey to Nynrah and the Keeping Place. Nale felt around and double-checked to make sure she was a Toa. Although, she kind of liked the feeling of being a Matoran again--a reminder of when she had no powers, and life was much less busy. Remembering how the memory ended, she gave a somber look to Knichou, but said nothing. @BULiK@~Xemnas~@EmperorWhenua

IC: Jutori - Patiwairutiki Cockpit Jutori focused his element throughout the mech, beginning to nullify its gravity and make it weightless. Once the two Viltias threw them, they would be like a leaf on the wind. "I'm ready." @pokemonlover360@Kal the Guardian

IC: Nale Vella - Memory Crystal, Nynrah (Keeping Place) "You seem certain we'll succeed at stopping this calamity," she said to Kimi. "I like that optimism." @BULiK@~Xemnas~ IC: Triage - The Taku (Bridge) "Sacrifice? They're created by..." Triage got up from his seat and stood at optic level with the three. This was already getting more interesting, and more disturbing. "Alright, seems simple enough. We cut off the problem at its source. I can gather the crew and see what they think." He walked over to the crew quarters and knocked on the door to get Berys' attention. He looked to Enra. "What do you mean by scary, anyway? Besides being a volcano where people get sacrificed." @Toru Nui IC: Jutori - Patiwairutiki Cockpit "Simple plan, right? Appreciate the help ahead of time, Forgemaster," Jutori said to Viltia. The idea of the mech being thrown by a giant Toa NUVA was certainly inventive, he thought. He settled into the cockpit and took a deep breath, preparing to be launched into the sky and to use his element. If there was anyone to pray to, he'd be doing it right now. @pokemonlover360@Kal the Guardian

IC: Jutori - Patiwairutiki Cockpit Jutori nodded. "Right, okay." The Ba-Toa was reminded of when Toa Stannis asked him to move airships out of their path in Le-Metru. "I should be able to manage that. I hope." Hearing Vilitia, Jutori looked around and was slightly startled to find a massive NUVA standing by their mech with...tentacles? Vines? She was clearly a Toa of Plantlife. A smaller version of herself was standing on her shoulder, and was the one speaking to him and Kilo. "Uh, thanks for the heads up. I'm guessing you're trying to get up there too?" @pokemonlover360@Kal the Guardian

This has a much better balance between the red and lime than the combiner (and very little grey!), while also having a surprisingly similar silhouette. Pretty good take on a character who had a pretty disappointing canon build.

This is awesome. I love the Shockwave-Keetongu build, the head design evokes both and looks great with the Mahri armor "cap" and the System bits. Wasn't expecting such a well-done crossover like this--really good work.
