  1. I think masks powers were affected more by what they were made of (specific disk combinations) than shape. Shape was probably just there so people (and matoran) wouldn’t be confused, and for matoran cultural reasons. Some wiki sites say that Norik’s mask was made to honor another hero who had a Kiril. So not all Pehkui looked like that (supporting that masks can look like anything). A real world explanation I’ve heard is that they originally intended the design to be a “Toa Dume” but scrapped it in favor of Norik.
  2. Jaller on Mata Nui has a great Hau. Several other matoran also had great masks (Like hewkii, kongu, etc. Almost every matoran from Mata Nui that got a set had a great mask actually, with few exceptions like Hafu. Just the 6 metru Nui matoran had noble masks). A mask is just a mask. A matoran (not even on Voya Nui) with a great mask can’t tap into the power though. I believe there was also something about some masks being purely decorative with no power to be tapped at all.
  3. I’ve seen the sealed go on eBay a few times for $700. I’ve also seen it twice without the blister pack go for $500. I just didn’t have the money at the time. I’m hoping someone is still willing to go around those prices. I’m definitely not expecting 100, but I was hoping closer to 700
  4. I have to agree with constraction_deva. The condition of the box is what makes sealed so expensive. I bought a sealed box (in better condition than this) for $20 because of the wear and tear. Hopefully you can get a fair price on it though.
  5. I really want the Inside Tour Gali mask, but can’t afford the $800+ it sells for sealed. Does anyone have an open one they’d consider selling? (Condition does not matter to me). Thank you! I’m willing to negotiate and talk about what you think is reasonable. I’m just not even going to pretend I can afford the $800. Can still be a win-win though if you’ve decided you could use a little cash lying around more than the mask (I know many could, and are trying to dissolve collections).
  6. Yes. But we can save it if the Toa can recover the Mask of Life. In all seriousness, the core will probably stay active on here for a bit before some start to drop. Though some will stay, especially those looking for specific items, or those that are involved with more than Bionicle.
  7. DO you have any of the disks for the tohunga? Or any spare regular kraahkan? I’d be happy to buy them off you if you are selling.
  8. Does anyone have any spare throwing disks? Specifically, I’m looking for the ones with a Hau, Pakari, Kaukau, and Akaku. I’m also looking for a total of 4 infected hau. Please let me know if you have any, and how much you might want for them. Thanks!
  9. I could see it being true. Didn’t it come free packaged with LEGO magazines though? So widely distributed doesn’t necessarily mean popular, or even read, just that a lot of people had them. I personally loved the comics, but others might not have even touched them.
  10. I’ve checked every site I could think of that has anything Lego and in every country Bionicle came out, but have not found the alternate ending tile for the quest for Makuta board game. I’m pretty sure it’s a typo, but biosector says it was distributed in a copy of Lego magazine. Does anyone know what copy? I’ve been looking for a while and would love to play the alternate ending! https://biosector01.com/wiki/BIONICLE:_Quest_for_Makuta Photo of alternate ending piece here: http://bionicle-selling.wikia.com/wiki/G31390_Quest_for_Makuta_Adventure_Game?file=Alternate_Ending.jpg
  11. I’ve heard some people have rare misprint gold kraata. Would you happen to have one?
  12. A little late here, but thanks for pointing this listing out, I got a set of cards from it. Weird that the seller has so many of them - maybe they had wider distribution in Germany than the US.No problem. I thought it was a cool find. Unfortunatly, I haven’t had any luck finding the alternate ending tile. I love that game, and would love to play the alternate ending. I had hoped it was more common in other countries, but couldn’t find anything.
  13. Shadow Kraata do not control shadow. It’s “stage 7” of the kraata transformation. Any kraata can become a shadow kraata; shadow kraata retain their ordinary powers. Theses powers are stronger, and shadow kraata have ge ability to infect kanohi from a distance.
  14. Yeah, I think these might be the rainbow cards after all. I haven’t had any luck finding the Quest for Makuta piece, which is a shame because I love that game, and would be interested in it myself. As for the silver letter limited edition cards, I have a spare set (might be missing Pohatu, I have to check). I’m just not sure what to offer since they were really tough for me to find (especially Kopaka).
  15. Huh. I have some German foil cards of the toa. Maybe those are the rainbow cards, and maybe they were only in certain languages of LEGO Magazine issues (they do that sometimes). PS, these are actual rainbow tinted foil holo cards, not the silver letter ones from the limited edition packs (this whole time I kind of just thought they were misprints). If these are the rainbow cards, and if you’re interested. I found mine in the ebay tab here on BZPower. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TC-Lego-Bionicle-Sammelkarten-alle-6-Elemente-Holo-Die-Suche-nach-den-Masken-/352048972077?hash=item51f7c1012d:g:~VIAAOSwt0FZDIxl
  16. Do you have photos or info links for the Rainbow card or Promotional board game piece? I can’t find anything about them other than biosector’s thing saying the promo game tile existed. The rainbow card isn’t even on the brick shelf gallery of cards... I can keep an eye out if I know what i'm looking for. I don't have anything on the Rainbow Card beyond it being mentioned as part of an offer in one of the comics. I think it was one from 2002, but I don't know for sure. As for the alternate tile, I have found images of it. Front:https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/bionicle-selling/images/3/3b/Alternate_Ending.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140704202931 Back:https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/bionicle-selling/images/c/c6/Alternate_Ending_Back.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140704202844 Interesting. Do you know if the card came in one of the comics, or was there just an ad for it in a comic? I have all of the Bionicle comics, so I can check to see if there’s an add for one. And I have a lot of Bionicle cards, but I would need to know what the rainbow card looked like, or at least a name or number or something...not even sure if I have it, but I might.

  18. Does anyone have any of the following? Any toa mata canister, any bohrok canister, any two lids for the toa metru canisters. I was hoping to have the usable canisters for photo purposes. Can anyone help?
  19. I mean could the MU pick it up?It's a planet sized robot it could pick it up because there is no way that hammer has that much magic in it to stop a planet sized being from picking it up. It most likely just not work for the MU but it could be picked up. Hulk can shatter planets with one punch and couldn’t lift it. In a Marvel/DC crossover, Superman (who I’m pretty sure has lifted planets) was only able to lift it because the multiverse depended on it, so Odin temporarily undid the restrictions so he could save everything. It’s not about strength, it’s about worthiness and battle skills (Wonder Woman in a different marvel/dc crossover had no issue lifting the hammer). Personally I don’t think the MU is worthy. I don’t think Mata Nui himself was even worthy until the very end of the glatorian storyline (nor did he have the combat mindset).
  20. I’m pretty sure worthiness isn’t enough. I think I remember that to lift it you need to be worthy AND have a warrior mindset. So it has to be someone who lives to fight. Matoro (while worthy) probably wouldn’t have the warrior mindset to use it. Takanuva and Jaller probably have too much self doubt and anxiety to be truly worthy. I’d think lhikan could. Mata nui as well.
  21. That's too bad. I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere else eventually =) Thanks anyway
  22. I was hoping to get the black spinner from the Bomonga knockoff and the blue spinner from the Gaaki knockoff for MOCs of the Toa Hagah. Does anyone have them?
  23. I'd be interested in getting a Great Spirit Robot (articulated joints preferred, but not necessary). Thanks for any help. Preferably small, maybe 6-10ish inches tall?
  24. Weird. I don't think those are the silver letter cards. I think they're the regular cards (based on the numbering 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91), but holo-foil somehow. I didn't even know those came as holo cards... Personally I'd buy it, but the seller doesn't ship to the USA
  25. Does anyone know what the black pieces are on Eliminator's hips?
