  1. I believe the other 2 are on Tidal. Thank you so much!
  2. Does anyone know if the latter two soundtracks are available in FLAC anywhere? Mask of Light is available on 7Digital but no sign of the others.
  3. It's actually part of the printing, that was part of what I found so bizarre about it!
  4. Hi all, I did quick search on the forum and I don't think this specifically has been posted. I was recently in Aldi (a cheap supermarket in the UK and other countries) when I came across this magazine. I don't know if this is a variant on a previously-released volume; I found it amusing that this was labelled as an 'Aldi Comic Special!' and suddenly appearing despite the range ending last year. It's currently going for a fiver if anyone is interested. I noted that Agil is called Ekimu's Hawk rather than Falcon. Images here: http://imgur.com/a/bvh41 -Taccer
  5. It's wonderful to hear the original clear audio after all this time. Even more excitited for the LoMN soundtrack, although I think Nathan Furst said that it was incomplete due to the infamous hard disk crash. Here's to hoping anyway!
  6. My favourite bits out of the moview are the opening and the credits of LoMN, so this is awesome. So many elements I hadn't heard before that I will try and hear next time I watch the movie!
  7. Possibly because the very idea of a trailer for some extra character skins is ridiculous?
  8. Blimey, wasn't actually expecting it to come back this soon. As much as I loved the series, I kinda hope that they'll distill the best bits of the franchise and start again with a clean slate. Although given that we were left with a 'brave new world' in 2010, I imagine they could do this whilst still keeping it a continuation. I think we need to wary of unrealistic expectation though, just sayin'... although get the impression it's waaaay too late for that
  9. Huh, not a lot I can do then. Will try and pick up a spare on Bricklink. Maybe I can sell this one as a special edition ever-lasting Laser Harpoon! Thanks for responses.
  10. After I originally quit buying Bionicle sets in 2005, I *finally* got my hands on a Toa Hahli Inika set (the swirly marblyness!) second hand. The set and canister were in good condition but once I found some working batteries for her Laser Harpoon and pressed the button, it started flashing at full speed and wont stop unless I knock the batteries out. I have other Inika tools and know that the flashing speeds up then slows down before stopping. I can only assume that the Harpoon has been damaged in some way over the years. Has anybody else seen this, and found any kind of remedy? Thanks!
  11. Any idea how much it would be to send Legends #6 and #7 to the UK? What sort of condition are they in? Also a bit confused by the 'Battle for Power' comics, since they were #12-15 of the Ignition series. Are they actually the Glatorian comics? Thanks
  12. i think the magic period was the early years of 2001-03. Seeing the ongoing story of the Matoran and Toa in the MNOLGs and Bohrok videos. Not to mention my first experiences of fannish glee as CGI images of peripheral cahravters (Taipu, Tamaru, Kapura) became available.
  13. I really, really hope that there is a way to save the Mata Nui Saga. The artwork is gorgeous, the voice over priceless.
  14. Any return for Bionicle would, despite it's ongoing-story, probably be ore akin to, say, the recurring Jonny Thunder themes from the 90s. Some elements reused as convenient (the name quite possibly being one of them), but with no effort made to maintain continuity with an old line. They'll be trying to market a 'new' product, afterall.
  15. The first game was awful, it wasn't even finished; I'm not suprised a sequel was canned. Still, given that it wasn't trying to cover 3 years, it could have been half-decent.
  16. Some time ago I drafted a letter to Scholastic. It asked them what the chances of them being released in electronic format was and i that wasn't going to happen, whether we as a community could upload the texts. I emailed it to them and got a response asking me to send it to them in writing, however living in the UK the postage cost was prohibitive. I don't know whether someone accross the pond would care to try again?
  17. That blob of Energised Protodermis at the core of Spherus Magna was pretty powerful. Someone could get hurt by that thing... or have their planet split open...
  18. *Sticks fingers in ears* Lalalalala not listening! I'm suprised he didn't announce that there would be at least one rereleased Star Wars set as well...-Taccer
  19. Legends of Metru Nui, great score, models, story, and moments. Then I guess MoL, TLR then WoS. Incidently, it's a quadrilogy, or so boxsets in the shops would have me believe. -Taccer
  20. I think that we'll be finding out new things about the new forum for a while yet, I'm still trying to get my avatar right! -Taccer
  21. The Time Slip seems the most appropriate Bionicle reference, but I think most people will stick with the downtime. -Taccer P.S. Long Live BZP!
  22. Please see relevent topic here for more information. ----------------------------- Dear Scholastic, It is my understanding that you are currently the rights holders to numerous books relating to the LEGO Bionicle range, namely: Bionicle Chronicles #1 - Tale of the Toa (2003) Bionicle Chronicles #2 - Beware the Bohrok (2003) Bionicle Chronicles #3 - Makuta’s Revenge (2003) Bionicle Chronicles #4 - Tales of the Masks (2003) Bionicle: Mask of Light Bionicle Adventures #1 - Mystery of Metru Nui (2004) Bionicle Adventures #2 - Trial by Fire (2004) Bionicle Adventures #3 - The Darkness Below (2004) Bionicle Adventures #4 - Legends of Metru Nui (2004) Bionicle Adventures #5 - Voyage of Fear (2004) Bionicle Adventures #6 - Maze of Shadows (2004) Bionicle Adventures #7 - Web of the Visorak (2005) Bionicle Adventures #8 - Challenge of the Hordika (2005) Bionicle Adventures #9 - Web of Shadows (2005) Bionicle Adventures #10 - Time Trap (2005) Bionicle Legends #1 - Island of Doom (2006) Bionicle Legends #2 - Dark Destiny (2006) Bionicle Legends #3 - Power Play (2006) Bionicle Legends #4 - Legacy of Evil (2006) Bionicle Legends #5 - Inferno (2006) Bionicle Legends #6 - City of the Lost (2007) Bionicle Legends #7 - Prisoners of the Pit (2007) Bionicle Legends #8 - Downfall (2007) Bionicle Legends #9 - Shadows in the Sky (2008) Bionicle Legends #10 - Swamp of Secrets (2008) Bionicle Legends #11 - The Final Battle (2008) The Official Guide to Bionicle (2003) Bionicle: City of Legends (2004) Bionicle Encyclopaedia (2004) Bionicle: Rahi Beasts (2005) Bionicle: Dark Hunters (2005) Bionicle Encyclopaedia - Updated (2007) It is also my understanding that these books are no longer in print, and that you do not intend to reissue them in the foreseeable future. It has become difficult for the content of these to be enjoyed by the growing fanbase. As LEGO has recently cancelled the Bionicle line, there has been a growing fan movement to archive content pertaining to the franchise. As part of that project, we would like to be able to hold electronic copies of the above series of books. Whilst as a whole the fans would be happy to create their own typed-up copies, we have refrained from doing so out of respect to your ownership rights to the books. Essentially, we are asking either for yourselves to provide us with electronic (PDF) copies of the books, or for your permission to reproduce the books ourselves either in document form, page scans, or as raw text on the largest fan-wiki, Biosector01.com. We would be happy to add any disclaimers or company signage to the documents, our only concern is making the content of these now out-of-print books available to the fan base. We do not believe the availability of electronic copies of these books would have a negative impact on any future sales for your company. Many thanks for your time, -Sign-
  23. Hello fellow BZPower lads and ladettes, and of course to the guests... I guess... Yup, after several years (I have been here several years you know!), I have decided to become a Premier member again. This time for life! I was was previously a PM back in... such-and-such a year, and have gotten much older since then. So why the heck did I decide to go Premier now? Doesn't sound like I particularly interesting question (it isn't), but considering I'm a very tight-fisted person at the best of times, with very little charitable heart in him whatsoever, the fact that I've opted for a lifetime Premier Membership is a rather unusual decision. There are numerous reasons, including: 1) I love the Kanohi Vahi, and as of this moment, I am of the 'Mask of Time Discovered' post ranking. With PM images, how could I resist? 2) I realised that a blog like this might be beneficial to me in getting some of my thoughts on fairly daft ideas together. This the first blog I've written. Feel honoured. 3) I love Bionicle, and I like BZP, and I can see how important it is to future storyline developments that BZP stays stable, and I think more of us should rally to this cause. 4) Well... I was kinda hoping to get noticed more in the B/S/T forum (new Tradepost coming soon). 5) Shameless plug: Read my BS01 Contest #5 entry, Duty and Redemption, it's had positive comments but I'd love to hear from you. That's about it for now, chances are I'll take inspiration from discussions on the board for future entries, but we'll see. Until then I leave this question: If you are/were/arne't a Premier Member, what has led you to that decision? And what changes in the Premier membership scheme could change your mind? Thanks for reading, and stay off the cake! -Taccer
