Glad I entered these. The sets look pretty cool. But its mostly for the pieces - they look like a goldmine for interesting parts. Plus they never made it to North America, so there's that! -NotS

Levahk Va would've have been a fun prize to win. Levahk (and the rest of the Bohrok) has fantastic complimentary colours. The red went with green beautifully. -NotS

Ooh, a look at the Mask of Ultimate Power at the start there! Looks like we get a flashback sequence to the Great Cataclysm. Excited to see the city in its prime. I really like the way Ekimu looks in this art style. The little eagle promo set also making an appearance is quite a surprise. Looks like I'll have to find a way to pick it up or get the pieces to build it! -NotS

The Beast's are looking like tough obstacles for the Toa to face. Lots of action in this trailer, can't wait to see them in the full episodes. -NotS

Looks like these next few episodes are going to be action-packed. Umarak the Destroyer looks great in this art style. I find the last shot of him especially intriguing. Is he conjuring an interdimensional portal or something? Looks like there will be some kind of MacGuffin Umarak will be collecting as well. -NotS

I love these "making-of" articles! Mathieu Grenier is very talented. The poster looks amazing (great to get such a high quality version too) and the amount of work that went into it clearly shows. Plus, the nitty-gritty details are very interesting for me to digest as a new media student. Really cool stuff and I cannot wait for Journey to One season 2! -NotS

That makes sense. I guess I can accept that explanation. I mean, clear trans at least works with any colour. I got around to building Ketar and Pohatu just now and I have some things to say about them. I liked Ketar's design building it, and I'm glad they went for a scorpion but the final look is lackluster. The gimmick is also the worst of the creatures and the colour scheme is ridiculously messy. Pohatu is better than I expected, with a great mask and shoulder designs, but I really don't like the colour distribution. The addition of tan is nice but the lack of orange-brown in key locations really hurts his unified colour scheme. Weapon is extremely standard as well. Course, the Unity design isn't cohesive and they don't complement each other well at all. That being said, they are not bad sets. None of these new Toa or Creatures are. They are probably the best bunch of Toa sets we've ever had and I know I said that last year, but these Uniters have really surpassed all my expectations. I mean, I expected to get maybe one or two sets but I ended up getting all of them. -NotS

I wish LEGO would celebrate the 15th (big number!) in some way but I know they won't, which is sad but sensible, since they just rebooted last year and claiming a 15 year legacy would be confusing to newcomers. I would love a retrospective video or the like or a premium rerelease of the first comic (or a blu-ray collection) but I know they won't happen. Still, we can celebrate this in a big way on this site and on other fan sites, and that's enough I'd say. So here's to a happy 15th, Bionicle! You have come a long way! -NotS

Awesome poster! I still prefer the composition of season one's poster, but this still looks very good. And I love how Pohatu is the poster-boy this time. I think that's the first time a stone/brown character has taken the spotlight in the franchises history (minus Mata Nui)! -NotS

Got my final two winter 2016 sets today! Pohatu and Ketar. Haven't built em yet. Last week, I received Onua and Terak as a gift, so I'll comment on them - Onua is FANTASTIC. Amazing colour distribution, fun weapon-design and excellent overall build. I feel his stature is a little too similar to the other Toa now and he was much more unique last year, but this new set is indeed very incredible. Fantastic mask too. Terak is probably one of the weaker creatures. I like the overall look and the build is still fun, but the gimmick leaves a lot to be desired and that really shows on their really standard Unity form too. Also, it bugs me that the spiky shell pieces are blended with clear trans-plastic. Why not purple? No one else suffers from this problem. -NotS

They would have just ended it without sets if they wanted people to be really disappointed. -NotS

Cross-generation combiners could be cool. Like Kopaka G2 combined with Takanuva 08 to create a modern Takanuva. Even something like Ackar + Vakama 04 to create an alternate Toa Metru form, something like that. Would have been very cool. -NotS

Those were presumably Rahi though. I do not believe Rahi were sent up to the Red Star. EDIT: Heck, they don't have to be Rahi. They could have been organic beasts native to Aqua Magna, since the Pit was above the dormant Mata Nui robot. -NotS

I really hope it doesn't happen, but if they plan to cancel it after 2017 I really hope they go for a full-fledged ending. No Exo-Force nonsense. -NotS

The armour design definitely plays a role too - 2015 is very sleek, while 2016 has more detail. It just adds to the illusion. The beasts definitely have innovative designs and that's really respectable for $13-tier sets, which is why I will give them a try as well. -NotS
