No, no, the Festivus story is still stick in the legendary pre-production nightmare. It'll be Festivus in March at the earliest, folks. Sigh.

I'm here about something that's ahead of schedule, actually. You see, last year, around this time, I did this thing based on the Japanese Girls' Festival. That'd be Zinia and Samantha there. The dolls are based on various BBC people. Yeah, okay, I know Tok was long gone from BBC by that time. I needed a third person for that spot.

So, here we are this year. Photo-Paint still isn't anywhere near this computer, yet I still really wanted to do something. So I kinda looked in Paint's direction...

And here we are so far. I'm currently debating whether or not I should have those middle three be holding stuff like in last year's. I've got the time to fix 'em up, certainly, but still... hn. Switched Makaru in for Tok this year.

    Now to keep on working...

    Well, she ain't.

An overview of things, because I have a million-plus-one different things I need to catch up on. I swear, I turn my back for a second, and...

First, the contest. The first thing to suffer the blow of surprise home renovations. I have been told what happened, though. I'm disappointed, folks. I can't really bring myself to say a whole lot more. Just know that there are a lot of you I am disappointed in.

Next, promotions. Namely, my getting a whole new minion. I've got some real hopes for this one. This could finally be the turning point that brings dignity to the Piyufi complement of minions. One would think that clean-nosed Shan would be that last hook in sanity, but no, he ain't. That boy wants the tiara bad. I can sense it.

Also, the Festivus story. Didn't get to do one bit on it, I'm afraid. The script is almost done, but I've got building and all that other stuff to deal with, never mind the current inability to load pictures onto the computer or edit them... It may be a 'Festivus in February' affair. Still, I'm gonna get this one out...

    Finally, Mike. So bloody sad.

Time to get back into the dance.

So maybe I'm at a loss for titles right now.

And also at a loss for sig... I'm right on the edge of the ol' '100-post sig change', and once again... no clue. Well, actually, some clue. The current leader's a quote from good ol' Socials, but then I'm also contemplating yet more Elvis Costello lyrics... But then again, how many times have I borrowed some lines from him?

Okie, yeah. Socials quote it is, in all its glorious lack of context. Now to wait for the crossover to 6800. Woo.

To counter the big batwing annoyance from one post ago... spiky ball. Yes, I went ahead and plunked down the ridiculous amount of money CAD for that guy just for the spiky ball parts. I admit it. I'm sure I'll find uses for the other stuff... but cripes, I needed that spiky ball. Oh yes. All this time, I've wanted some manner of spiky-ball-on-chain weapon, and now I have it. It'll pop up at some point in pictures, I'm sure. The design itself is nothing too spectacular: just a couple chain pieces with the spiky ball attached to one chain. The beauty is in the simplicity, however, and it truly is a lovely little weapon...

I just went on for a relatively full paragraph about a weapon made of Lego. Figures.

Well, it does. Twenty more days, give or take. This year, we're gonna do it right: we're gonna get an actual pole and everything.

Oh, don't tell me you thought I was kidding all this time... Why would I jest about something like this?

Anyhow, I have this idea for this semi-massive Festivus picture story. I missed out on executing it last year, and I'm not keen on missing the boat this year. It's got a PTA in it and everything. They are psycho. Phone calls are made.

If only my adapter/charger wasn't missing and the card reader was hooked back up and Photo-Paint was stuck on this machine. Sigh.

Gods, I love this show. More fangirling, this time directed at Coronation Street. Shut up. There is a reason the Queen can't get enough of this.

Like tonight's episode. Technically, it's from Christmastime 2007, thank you very much CBC. And, might I say, the writers never let Christmas pass peacefully on the Street? If you are in some poor area that's even further back than Canada, turn back now. Immediatement. You do not want so much as the slightest hint about the episodes set on Christmas Day itself.

Turn back! Save yourselves! Or, if you care not, press on.

AND FOR CAT'S SAKE DO NOT SPOIL THE CANADIAN! AS FAR AS WE ARE CONCERNED 2007 IS STILL THE CURRENT YEAR!

    Onward.

First, a confession about last night. I doubted the writers. I doubted the writers so bad. And in return for my doubt, they handed me the most beautiful way to out John and Rosie. Oh gods. I'd have died if that one had aired on a Friday. They are merciful, loving, forgiving gods, indeed. I don't deserve them. And then! Today! Oh man oh man. Kevin gets big ol' hearts. You know the charges won't stick. Fiz missed countless opportunities to step on/kick John, but eh. And all the while, Norris, Rita, and Emily, all 'Christmas just got awesome'. Also, the penultimate scene of the episode, where we realize that David has nothing on Rosie. And then, happy ending with Roy. An absolutely magnificent episode. All in thirty minutes, mind.

So what if it's classed as a soap opera? There's North American 'dramas' that better fit that name. It's still one of the greatest, most well-written things you'll find on TV.

    It is getting beeeeeeetter...

You doubt me. You doubt me! But not even the whining over #50 can get me down right now. Oh no.

Sunshine and kitties, folks. Sunshine and kitties.

Hey. People who hate me. Yes, I know who you are. I've read the posts. No, no, not the ones here. The ones on all those elsewheres. Yeah. Those very public ones. So help me, sometimes I get bored and I scavenge for things to fuel my reading addiction.

I know you hate me. I know who you are. I know just how you feel about me. And I don't care.

If I was worried about hurting people's opinions of me by helping to maintain a forum, I'd have quit years ago. Fact is, it's totally worth having the infractees hate me if it means the general populace can let out their breath and go 'thank god that was taken care of'. You might go 'well, where are those people then, heh heh'. They're all around. They're quiet. It's in their nature. Moderates everywhere, of every kind, are quiet. Extremists are the loud, noticeable ones. The extremists take the silence for agreement. The moderates know better, but, for reasons constantly debated and hypothesized, don't speak up.

Fact is, the people who hate me are people I never liked in the first place. Amazing how the universe sorts all that out.

So, moderates. You know who you are. Don't let yourselves get dragged down. If someone claims to speak for you, you shut them right down. You're logical, reasonable people. You don't have to stand for this. You just gotta take that first step. Once you get moving, believe me, the rest comes naturally.

So I've been modding BBC for almost five whole years, right? You see a lot of things in that time. I'd like to think I've learned a lot just by proximity. And there's this one thing that, I dunno how long it's been sitting there in my mind, kinda seems like it shouldn't take five years to hit everyone else. So, I shall share it. Brace yourselves.

When you're building, think for your own selves.

Winding yourselves in 'rules' and 'guidelines' is a horrid way to go through the creative process! Before long, you start worrying about those little details, rather than if your MOC is actually interesting. You treat the 'guidelines' as the only things that matter, forgetting that examining how real-world people, creatures, and things will do you far more good than someone telling you 'these colours should never be used together' ever will. You get so caught up in these meaningless little things, you start measuring yourself by how well you follow those 'rules' and you get more and more fixated on them and you think you're better and better for it and you wonder why those 'tasteless kids' here at BZP never post in your topics don't they know that you're one of if not the best builder around and and and...

Well, is it any wonder, when you're so caught up in the inane and in yourself?

I can't stress this enough. The BZP populace is way smarter than it's given credit for. People who go on about how they never get posts in their MOC or art topics? They rarely, if ever, stop to consider 'is this actually that interesting?'. Let's just ignore the attitudes towards the general populace that seem to accompany these guestions for now: those are for another day. It doesn't matter how 'technically perfect' your guy-with-weapon is. It's a guy with a weapon. It's been done thousands of times before. Is he really that different, that interesting? Chances are high that 'no, no he is not.' I rarely ever see 'make it interesting' or 'make it fresh' in these lists of 'tips'. It's a bit unnerving to me.

Never mind the entitlement complex inherent in 'oh, nobody ever posts in my topics, even though my works are so good'. The posting population of BZP doesn't owe you anything for posting a picture of some pieces or some pixels. They're really not that interested in how good you say and think you are. They really, really aren't. They want something they can actually say something about. That 'horrid' piece done in Paint that's getting way more posts than you? Might have something to do with its artist taking a chance and trying to draw a Toa in a rough-and-tumble action scene. They probably aren't thinking about 'how great' they are when they make things like that: they're just drawing a picture of one of the heroes being awesome and doing their thing.

And, oh, the horrid fascination around buzzwords we seem to have. Every time I see 'needs more custom ahahaha look at this joke and how funny and not-tired it is', I get this inescapable urge to shoot something. Okay, it's actually rather escapable, by reminding myself not to let its mindlessness get to me. This whole 'custom' 'debate'? You all look horribly silly. Knock it off. Same goes for other words people like to bandy around to try and look like they 'know things, man.' Fusion is one of them. Knock it off. Lego is Lego is Lego. Start thinking that way and you'll find things get a lot easier than when you tried to make it bigger than it should be. All those other words and phrases that escape me at the moment? Knock it off.

Yes, you absolutely should read and accept the comments and critiques you get. I'm not telliing you to ignore those. I figured I should mention that, because people have a habit of taking something I say and claiming I said the exact opposite (still not sure why people think I'm 'anti-breast', but hey). I just want you to cut yourselves out of the unimportant things, is all.

The above is a list of the many characters I have encountered over the years who I simply love to bits. Seriously, something bringing all these guys into one place would be beyond awesome. You might never see me again. I'd likely die happy. This list contains a mix of characters I'd love to have as friends, characters I'd love to have as family, characters I wouldn't mind snuggling up with, characters I can look at and go 'that's me!', and characters who are just plain awesome.

One is already given to you. Bet you can't figure out where the rest are from.

    Let's talk about bad movies!

Cloverfield is horrible! If I were to list all the things that made it So Bad It's Horrible, I would be presenting you with a complete summary! Of the whole thing! Of its entirety! Scarcely a redeeming minute to it! Possibly ending with 'and camera work that's worlds more nauseous than it is dramatic'! That is a really bad sign!

I can't believe I'm talking about horrible movies! Horrible movies suck! Let's talk about awesome movies!

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. A magnificent movie. Lincoln, Keanu as he really should be and shouldn't try anything else please, and Carlin. And so many other things. You want a good movie about time travel? Yo. Some of the best uses of a time machine are contained within. Medieval babes! Friendship! An excellent motto to live by! The Power of Rock bringing about an awesome new Earth! Downright blatant connections to a certain other timey-wimey story!

    The 80's!

Oh, that would be the perfect antidote, wouldn't it. I really must dig it out sometime. Like, nowtime. If you'll excuse me?

    Exclamation marks of so-bad-I'm-offended!

    Uhhuh.

Sure, there may have been some snags. Like that accursed phone still not wanting to stay put in a hand no matter what. So, it's now just an inconvenience that Tufi has learned to deal with. And maybe 'photographer's fatigue'. And 'image editor's fatigue'. And 'no no no I am sick of typing whyyyyy'-itis.

But! It is up. And on Festivus, no less.

    Have a good one, folks.
  12. Tufi Piyufi
    So.

    New serial update, I see.

'First' canon instance of romance, I hear.

Sahmad's got a lady in his life? Wait, no, had. She's dead. Long dead before we ever got to her. Dead, nameless, and seemingly only around to provide angst for her living, named guyfriend.

    She needs a name.

I propose we call her 'Fridgey'.

In the first contest voting forum (the one set aside for the BBC contest), there are twenty-nine polls for two hundred and eighty-four entries. 284. That's a pretty big number. It pushes the boundaries of the English alphabet, in fact. This was the least of my problems today, but hey. So, I came up with a solution, and moved on to the more pressing things.

Polls Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. They've got a certain ring to them, don't they? I certainly like the sound.

Maybe I should do a full set of polls that way one time. Perhaps not this time, but maybe for #42. Eh? Whaddya think?
  14. Tufi Piyufi
Imagine, if you will, a really big city. That'd be the island system of BZ-Metru. Now imagine a city within that city. Well, a few cities, anyways. In this instance, we're talking about one of the bigger ones. It's big, it's old, and it's beautiful. And I'm not biased, I swear. It's the BBC Empire. And it's mine.

Alright, technically it isn't just mine, but still.

Those that I do share it with, well... There's a few things I could say about 'em. Love 'em all, though. Don't get me wrong. I'd be hard-pressed to come up with a bunch of people I'd rather have with me. And, though in some cases I'm reluctant to admit it, I owe 'em all in one way or another. Then again, the reverse holds true.

Then there are those who sometimes make me wonder as to why I keep them alive, and by 'those', I mean Kex. Personally, he's been trouble since day one. Add that to the fact his 'day one' is earlier than just about all the others, and you've got a fantastic way to sell more migraine meds.

Oh, that's a bit too cruel. He's improved vastly since the days when it was Tok and Redeemer he served alongside. I'm inclined to peg it on the tiara. Ever since I gave him a tiara crafted from nothing less than the infamous Clikits, I've seen progress. Heck, he's even stayed on the List of Heredity for a couple weeks at a time. Remarkable, I must say.

Of course, he never gets to be at the front of the line. That's where Shannara comes in. Well, he doesn't get to be first, either, but he does go one spot in front of wherever his fellow prince is. A very effective strategy; keeps things interesting. Seeing them fight for a position neither will ever have... it passes the time when the contests hit the slow stretch.

Shan's never been nearly as much trouble. He always shows the proper respect, does what's asked of him, has never made a try at the title of Empress of BBC... Which, of course, is why I'm wary of that boy. There's no way he can work with the whole lot of us and not have the same traits (evil, twisted, desire to be Empress). With the rest, it's all obvious to varying degrees. I can tell with some certainty what they're up to. Shan. however... There's no telling with that guy.

Mark my words, it will be his hand I see holding the dagger that does me in one of these days.

And these are just the FAs. I squak, they fall in line behind me. It's mostly just a matter of how hard I have to squak. Sometimes the squaking involves glaive-swinging. Regardless, they eventually make a line like good little minions. Disregarding what I just said in the paragraphs above, they're the harmless ones, at least in relation to the rest of us. No, the ones who could either possibly take me if I'm feeling really sick that day or could devastate me within the span of a cough... those are the dangerous ones.

In terms of the sick-day one... Schizo. Ah, Schizo. His insanity is well-known and well-documented. He rules over Comedies. In terms of the Empire, though, he holds the rank of Viceroy. Except for his Katia personality. She's technically a Princess (and the only one in the Empire), but I've never had the heart to tell the 'default' Schizo about this. As far as he knows, I talked him into wearing the Clikits Immunity Necklace for nostalgic reasons. All those times, yes. I get very nostalgic.

Does he wanna be Empress, too? Not so sure. Katia prolly does, since she's the only one who could technically inherit the title, but Schizo seems to have different plans. I have heard murmurings of 'pirate' and 'king'. I may have heard them spoken together, as if one thing. Even with these rumours of such drastic changes to the Empire (namely, the fact it wouldn't technically be an Empire anymore), he's still at the head of the line. My reasoning lies in the paragraphs above.

And as for the utter devastation... That'd be Ninjo. The only one who outranks me, and the only one I can't strike back against. It is purely disheartening when one's scimitar bounces off harmlessly without leaving so much as a bent fibre, and the recoil-spun fall to the ground is punctuation to the issue. Don't worry, though. He knew I was gonna do it. It's totally cool.

In the scheme of things, he's Emperor, but I'll have you know right now there's nothing to read into that. During times when staffing systems are being changed around and you have a chance to set up a proper Empire with titles and everything, you don't give the second-best title to an FA who just got transferred to BBC. You give it to the guy you've been slogging through the place with for years prior. Also the guy with the powers to just take it anyway. With any luck, they're the same person.

As for any interest he may have in being Empress... Prolly not. I say 'prolly' as I have a reason, however slight, to question this... but that's for another day.

And myself... I'm the Empress. That's all I need to say, really.

So that's the BBC Empire for you. I won't tell you we're a beacon of sanity and normalcy. I can't lie to that pretty little face. I will, however, say that things look better on paper and worse on monitor, so you shouldn't be kept up at night by what I've just told you. We're fine, really. We could be somewhere more damaging to the mind, such as Comedies.

    Oh wait.

Now, if you don't mind, there are stories about this mad crew I need to get off my chest once and for all.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thought I'd forgotten, possibly? No, I assure you, the project is alive and well. I've been working on this in bits and pieces over the past week or so, actually. Never had the time to bash it all out in one go. Here it is now, though.

    Well?
  15. Tufi Piyufi
Because I missed tons and tons of things last time. And I know I'm still going to be missing tons of points after I get this up. What can I say, though? There's just that many things out there that deserve a mention.

    'You just revived this topic!'

This is still in the category of 'things that belong solely in a report', but it gets special mention because... well... it needs it. I can understand if you're posting a normal reply/review in a revived topic; if all you see is the latest, reviving post, you can at least claim ignorance. It would have been best if you had checked the other posts before posting, but then again, you don't usually have to worry about that sort of thing, since so many other topics are current. You obviously can't claim the same when you're posting to say a topic's been revived. It's the exact same thing with telling people their post is spam: just report the post in question and leave it to us to deal with. It's our job. All you do when you post to declare a topic's been revived is add to the revival.

    'What a newb/noob/etc.'

I'm going to let you in on a little something here. In all my time in BBC and Artwork and GD and the forums in general, I've seen a lot of spam, flame and other nonsense. Tons. Now, the secret little thing here is... I've seen members of all manner of year-spinny do this. Spread out fairly evenly through the generations, too. That's right: spam is not the sole domain of the newcomer. You didn't hear it from me, though.

And I realize this is more an Internet-wide thing than anything else, but that doesn't change the fact it's still annoying. You don't need to put each other down by calling other people 'newbs' or whatever spelling people use these days. Being new to a forum doesn't mean you were born yesterday. And, in particular...

Faux 'newb-speak' really isn't that funny.

There's other ways to make your point than coming up with a fake quote that looks like someone had a seizure over their keyboard. Another secret? I've seen (and deleted) tons and tons of spam that is grammatically fine. It's just, you know, completely devoid in the area of actually adding something worthwhile to the topic. Likewise, there's posts out there that are certainly not spam, but maybe aren't spelled or punctuated so well. Yes, people should always try to use their best English when writing things on the Internet, but you don't have to claim someone's post is illegible if they misspell a word or two. If you've tried, but you still can't puzzle it out, politely ask them to make themselves clearer. Don't attack them for it. I assure you, just because you don't know what they're saying doesn't mean they won't know what you're saying.

And that's about it for now. I'm really ranting all too much. Oh well.
  16. Tufi Piyufi
    Well, slightly moreso, anyways.

I have a terrible, awful, humiliating revelation I have to share with you all: for the first seventeen years of my life, I had gone without watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I do not jest. This is something I've had to keep under my hat all these years, all these references around me, every day, everywhere... it's been difficult. I've not gone without a sense of guilt, either. I pride myself on knowing these crucial bits of pop culture, especially those older than I am. And- let's face it- just about everything in this movie is a pop culture reference.

Oh, but how would I know that for sure? Allow me to continue.

Saturday, June 3. 2006: I finally finally finally see that infernal movie!

Oh yes. And well worth the wait, might I say. It's odd... even though just about every joke in the film's been 'spoiled' for me countless times, there was still something awesome about seeing it all in film form. In fact, they even work better in the context of the movie. Things like the whole swallow joke and stuff like that seem much less random and feel much more like the running jokes that they actually are. In fact, I prolly appreciate the jokes even more with all this context.

Yes, while a lack of context can create fine humor, sometimes you need to see the whole thing.

And now mom's convinced she needs to get us to see Meaning of Life, too. Ah yes, my pop culture understanding is coming together very nicely. Hurrah! Hurrah!
  17. Tufi Piyufi
    Exhibit six.

Once again, see entry title. Schizo seems to have no right/his-left shoulder. That's not the same brush I stumbled across so very long ago for grass. It's generally... I dunno. And I know I'll never get around to posting a topic for this. So, here.

Also made a wallpaper out of it, mostly because I've been staring at the same awful image for at least over a year. If you really want to see it, exhibit seven. Quite happy with the sky gradient, though. At least I have that.

So, there you go. Cripes do I need something decent to write about.
  18. Tufi Piyufi
So what I'm gonna do here is I'm gonna invite a guest writer. Well, okay, technically I'm just copy/pasting, rather than inviting. And it's probably not written by one particular person, given the nature of its source. And oh, what a source.

    Guest writer go:

Second thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna look at Bionicle most meaningfully. And I have to tell people I don't give the slightest about the story. Ever.
  19. Tufi Piyufi
I've been meaning to get around to this for a while, but here we are now. I've been sidetracked bigtime, folks. That's all you need to know.

BR's already talked about this a bit in the Reference Desk topic. Yeah, contest #42 started off as a joke. That's why the introduction is especially silly. If it was serious from the start, I doubt I'd have done it up quite like that. Anyhow, I posted it as a joke. I was kinda entertaining notions of just keeping it going anyway (I mean, why waste a number like 42?), but nothing too committed yet.

I go to sleep. The next day, when everyone's up and about and panicking way too much, I check out my little contest. The outcry, the riots, the flaming... where is it? Is that... is that... sincere approval of the theme? It can't be. No no.

But it was. Oh, was it ever. A 200+ ever at this point, but that's not important at this stage. At that early stage, what I saw was a whole bunch of people who seemed to really enjoy the theme and who hoped it was for real. I saw people who never poke around in BBC taking interest in the theme. Do you realize how fantastic this was for me?

So I put in a word with the admin-types that I was gonna take this one and run with it after all. My major reasons are as follows:

A lot of you showed interest in it. And not even sarcastic interest either. Yeah, sure, there were some naysayers, but we get those every contest. I wouldn't dream of trying to please everyone: if I wind up doing that, then there's definitely something wrong. It hauled out people who don't usually poke around in BBC much. Bringing in fresh blood and ideas? Giving people a theme that's very friendly to the extremely casual/never-does-it builder? I'd be nuts to pass it up. You can't just slap a humanoid in here and call it your entry. You actually have to try building something different. You have to try something new: breaking out of your cozy little comfort zone and expanding as a builder is essential for many people in this contest. As well, in virtually all cases, you can't enter 'that MOC you're saving up for a contest that fits it'. 'Contest' means 'challenge', people. You're supposed to build to it, not have it fit you. It's fun and evil forcing a forum filled with guys to make 'cute' stuff. You know me and my evil. It's like a joke-turned-early-self-birthday-present. Except you can all get in on it. Enjoy, folks.

I love these things. I really do. The blogs add a whole other level to this place, make it that much more than just a forum, y'know? Real community. Just love 'em.

Then there's the little things about them. Like categories. A note to all present and future bloggers: get your categories set up as soon as you can. You will be struck by the urge to sort things out at some point, and you do not want to have to go through a ton of old entries and file 'em away one by one. Even, oh, say, eleven can get tedious. The first nine may be easy, but you'll find yourself slipping up around the tenth.

You will switch that tenth from 'published' to 'draft'. You will not realize this until the next day. On that day, you will be looking through your blog for no apparent reason, and you will notice that something's different about that tenth. You will shrug, go in, and republish that entry. You will feel the fibres of space-time being jolted as the entry you posted the day after you got the blog is yanked to the top of the list. You will feel the stab in the great Continuity Continuum. You will sigh and draft-republish your real latest entry in order to get some sense of order.

Then you will post about it

So yeah, that tenth step's a doozy.

    Well, that's what this is...

So I still need to figure out what in blue blazes I'll be doing with this thing. Can't keep on posting 'hey I've got a blog isn't that nifty' entries forever, you know. Seems vaguely 'not gonna work'ish, and I've found that that feeling is usually fairly accurate. The few times I haven't trusted that feeling... it's not been too great, I'll tell you now. And then there's the 'I'll know it when I see it' gut instinct. Gotta love that one. Yeah. I'll go with that one, too.

So bear with me for the time being, will you?

(No, not dead. Just metaphorically narcoleptic.)

I do hope you enjoy that sig and avatar. I know I do. That's why I made it. And you had to love it too, didn't you? That's fine. I won't be parting with this fine Willis work for a while, so you've got plenty of time to enjoy it for yourself. Don't get too attached, though: remember you are but a borrower.

Which is why that sig is wired to explode should you refuse to relinquish it when the time comes. Actually, no. It's the avatar. I've had to fiddle around with that sig too much to get the wiring hooked up. I was all 'finally, triumph' when the text didn't look atrocious.

Though I suppose you change sigs often enough that this won't be a problem. And I guess it wouldn't be too scandalous if we had the same banner. Still. Just in case of something else...

It is far too late at night for me to be up. I have not posted an entry in far too long. These two do not make for a stellar combination, though some may present a contrary theory. Oh no. I fully expect to look back on this entry in the morning and make every attempt to forget it ever existed, short of actually nuking it. Why not go the whole distance, I don't know.

    Yet here I am now.

Contest is good so far. Lots of people respecting the rules, lots of good entries, lots of love for the guy. All very good. Of course, we're still far enough away from the polls for everything to be happy. To be specific... prelims. They are an experience all their own, I assure you. You come away from making prelims feeling changed. Also tired. Maybe hungry. They take a while.

Snagged me a Belville set last week or so. 7579. First one to make a crack at that gets pain, as do the second, third, and so forth. Yes, I do have plans for all the little bits and things. Especially that fairy. That fairy has massive picture-story potential.

And on an unrelated note, glaivescythe. Blades on both ends of the stick. It would be a weapon of pure awesome and win, truly.

Now to kick off the regret phase of the whole deal.
