  1. Why does Pohatu have one yellow arm and one grey arm?
  2. Now that I actually can afford it I'm going to buy all the sets at once.
  3. Pohatu seems to be the leader now according to his bio.
  4. I figure he didn't actually know that they lived on Mata Nui's face? Someone please tell me if the inhabitants of the island knew that, since as far as I remember only a few inhabitants of the Matoran Universe actually knew that they lived inside a giant robot.
  5. Teridax of course. Excluding him I'd say Antroz, simply based on the set looking cool.
  6. During the last years of Bionicle I couldn't keep up with all the different sidetracks the story made. I'd enjoy if the story went back to the relatively simple way it was in the first years. Then again I'd prefer a overly convoluted story to no story at all. Hopefully Lego has put in some work on the story since Bionicle without the story is hardly Bionicle at all.
  7. I was wondering where the YouTube and Twitter icons came from. About time the front page got updated.
  8. To this day the Toa Mata/Nuva are still my favorite Toa team. Probably because they were the first. I do think that the Toa Inika/Mahri are the best sets though.
  9. Canisters are a lot more useful than bags, but bags do tend to be more cheaper and more environmentally friendly. Things I've used canisters for: Storage of Bionicle sets at home at while traveling, storage of various items such as DS and 3DS games, a 3DS, food, Legos and more, rolling it to my dog who then sniffs it and pushes it back for fun, display of Bionicle sets, pretending to use to Toa Metru lids as a Pokeball, and a few more. I just remember that it was really hard to fit the Phantoka sets in their canisters for example. I believe that the opening of the canisters only covered half of the canisters. Perhaps it was the Mistika canisters that had that problem, I'm not sure. The original Toa canisters were great. You could fit the whole set and then some in then, and they didn't take up to much space. As the sets and canisters got larger I felt that I began to lack the space necessary for them, so bagged sets are much preferred over canisters. Still it would be nice to have some new sets in canisters for the iconic value. Maybe the first wave of sets could come in canisters and anything that's released after that comes in a bag?
  10. That's kinda sad, and yet kinda neat. Would the OoMN count as a nerve system? With all the "carry out the will" stuff. Maybe. That's a good thought.
  11. I think that canisters are iconic for Bionicle, but if bagged sets are cheaper I'd prefer that to paying more for a, while nice, ultimately useless canister.
  12. Apparently the idea behind having living beings inside of Mata Nui's body came from one of the people on the Bionicle team who had a brain tumor which he had to take medication for. He imagined the pills containing tiny soldiers who would go inside his body and help fight the disease. That's why the original Toa canisters look like pills.
  13. Nice work! I especially like the Pakari with the orange lines.
  14. I never liked any of the songs except for Gravity Hurts. I listened to it again for the first time in years a couple of days ago and I can say that I still think it's a good song.
  15. A solid gold Mask of Creation as a contest prize would be a great way to promote the return of Bionicle. It's unlikely that LEGO would do such a thing, but not impossible seeing as they did just that with the solid gold Haus back in 2001.
  16. I experienced some powerful nostalgia when I heard about the return of Bionicle, so I thought it was about time to visit BZPower once again. I'm glad to see that this place is still active, although perhaps not as active as it was back in the day. It's nice to see some familiar faces here too!
  17. It's been so long since I played either of them, so I cannot give a completely fair judgement of the games, but Bionicle The Game has more nostalgic value for me than Bionicle Heroes, so I'd go with that as my choice even though I believe that Bionicle Heroes is the better game. As for the handheld games I'd go with Maze of Shadows since that is the only one I've actually played of them. It was a long time since I played that one too, but I remember that I thought it was really good at the time.
  18. I've just dropped by to say thanks to everyone involved in the BOGA. Your work is appreciated.
