  1. Where are you getting all these messages from? Whoever's writing them has real talent. I love the comparison between yourself and used dental floss.

Maintenance ended up having to change the deadbolt because the keys in the envelope didn't match the installed deadbolt, but hey, I have a key to this place now.

    Oh, boy. How annoying.

Good luck in the move and in settling in.

  2. Here you are, in the midst of moving. A terrible, stressful time. And, not only do you have to move shower gel, two bottles of pasta sauce, an eighteen ounce thingy of cherry preserves, and a pair of slippers you don't even wear...you don't even have Krispy Kremes and Reese's to comfort you!

May your new apartment be blessed with much unhealthy sugary stuff and junk food.

  3. I really got a laugh out out Larry's rendition of your sig message. But it's true.

Nice picture, BTW. You drew that?

He's really confused, poor cucumber. He once called Lady Kopaka, "Female Ice Pack."

    I want to play candyland!

Me too! :( I want to wescue Pwincess Wolly!

LarryBoy: I'm on my six thousandth, five hundredth, eighty-ninth turn, and I'm still stuck in the Molasses Swamp.

Meanwhile, Alfred is two squares away the finish line...

  4. I'm so glad you've finally mastered the old, valued art of creating speech bubbles. They always pay off, as you mentioned, when it comes to similar text and background colors.

Having already-made backgrounds is going to be really handy. And now, your characters can travel all over the globe island!

I think I'd better subscribe to the comic topic, once I find it, so I can keep up on the newest additions. Now that the comics and artwork are separated, I rarely venture into the Wonderful World of Comics anymore.

  5. Sometime last month, I think. At exactly ten-thirty-something-or-other PM.

You voted for me!? :o Thank you! Thank you! Thank you----

*At this point, the transmission was somehow accidentally cut off. If you would like to read the rest of it, please wait two weeks while listening to this lovely elevator music, and we may work up the courage to post the million other thank you's.*

Are you feeling any better, Mademoiselle K? I really hope you do. :(

  6. Hey, MVahi!

Despite what you say, I still think you did a good job with the entry. It was even better than i had expected!

What do you mean by "custom sprite"? Are you going to put sprites on the T-shirts, or am I misunderstanding this?

You can upload your own avatars, too. Hooray.

Well, congratulations on your first blog! Just remember, people are reading, even if they don't respond.

  7. Looks great so far, DN. I really like your "I want you!" content block.

Whether you realizd it or not, you've just listened to my droning for about 5 minutes!

Actually, it wasn't five minutes, because I read really fast. :P

You live at the beach!? You. Are. So. Lucky! (I want your house.)

On the subject of your stories, did you ever read your reviews for Jakias's station?

Keep your battlements set for tomatoes, 'cause me might be gettin' a lot!

*Hides under pillow shield.* Oh, please don't start another Fruit War...

  8. And you can't forget yourself and Nikira. You two have such similar names, it took me awhile to remember who was who.

Thanks, Onuki. Since you pointed out a while ago, in one of my comedies, that "anteayer" means the day before yesterday in Spanish, I had a feeling you'd be coming in here with a correction.

SCHIZO: "Out of sight, out of mind" into "invisible lunatic." With a bit of tweaking, that could be one funny signature quote.

I read one similar to that. A machine translated "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak" into Russian. A human translator pointed out that, literally translated, the message now read, "The whisky is agreeable but the meat has gone bad."

  9. I can't tell you how much your brothers' comments made me laugh. Just tell them, if they don't stop yelling in your ear, Larryboy will come to your house during the night this Christmas and steal all their toys.

Mine keeps telling me how the avatar looks like a professional drawing. You don't mind it once or twice, but every single time he sees it... >.<

Oh. Well, have fun on you business trip. The forum will miss you greatly. :( Don't forgot to Live Long and Prosper everyone you meet--you sometimes get weird results.

I hope you get something really good for your birthday. Like a Kopaka Olda (in one piece). Or a Larryboy. What could be better than a Larryboy? :P

Is your Indiana game PC or Playstation?

  10. They're really nice--very professional looking. The letters are centered nicely, and their coloring goes along with the background. Like I said before, you're good at this.

You might want to try a different translator, like Babelfish, and see if you get the same translation. If you do, you'll know it's right. Or both translators are wrong.

  11. Yum. Playing cards. :)

Are they really crunchy? :o Now I know what I'll plan for lunch tomorrow.

Explanations are easy. Just tell someone there was no food in the refrigerator and you hadn't had any breakfast. (It might be a good idea to hide the refrigerated food before you start, though.)

I have an interesting question. Would the crunchiness and dry-erase marker taste be limited only to the Jack of Clubs, or does it spread into the other suits and ranks, as well? I've always thought Kings would have a richer taste.

  12. Well, I don't know about anyone else, but that made perfect sense to me! :)

    *Ignore blank stares.*

    What? It did.

Etcetera sounds pretty good to me. Original, profound, and not too long. The perfect username.

How much longer do you have to wait to change your name?

  13. So you've got a blog too, eh? Boy...everyone's getting them now.

What program do you use for taking screen captures? PowerDVD? Those pictures are very clear, so I assume you didn't take pictures of your TV with your camera.

That banner is hilarious, and absolutely true. Don't stop making them! You're really good at this editing and banner-making.

*Opens banner and bursts out laughing again.* Honestly, that is one really funny banner!

  14. You're really lucky, LK. I hope you have a lot of fun fooling around with the Powerpoint and sound booth! (Just remember, you've only got control of the sound booth...not control of the world... )

I'll be looking forward to seeing your full Piraka picture (eventually). It'll probably look even better than the real ones.

Hey, my family did a trip almost as long as that in one day (took eight hours--ack!). You've actually got it pretty good.

Advice: Get a DVD player for your car (maybe for your birthday). Then, you can just watch DVDs the whole trip.

Speaking of birthday...in three days, eh? Well...

Happy birthday! Happy birthday! Happy birthday! :happydance:

So tomorrow you only get two "happy birthdays", and the next day one, and on your birthday, none. There's something wrong here...

Anyways, have fun with your blog, Mademoiselle Ice Lady! :D
