    Approvals?

So, does anyone approve of my blog? I could some more to fill up that content block down there... Unrelated: working on AP History vocab >.< But BZP's much more fun, so I ended up here instead. -Cressona

    A Separate Peace

Do you have to make a movie too, or anothe project? I think the movie is a common project... I looked on INSERT FILTERED VIDEO SITE HERE and there was a lot of movies there... none as good as mine, of course.
  3. Lhikkevikk-- It's Coming. The Coming is Now. pompomperson-- Epic Fail ftw, amirite? ...wait...
  4. Anyone ever read the book? I had to read it for English, and I just spent over 9000 hours doing a project for it, making a movie based on the book. In case anybody cares, it's about two kids at an all-boys boarding school in New England during WWII, and how the war affects them. Kinda. Mostly it's about my character falling out of a tree and eventually dying. -Cressona
  5. Hmm... maybe somewhere in your profile? The point is, you won. Cressona Awards don't come cheap. Which reminds me, I need to hand out Blue Ribbons of Fail to all the other people who entered the contest. pompomperson, that means you. And the Revolution? The Revolution is Coming. Be on the lookout. The Revolution is Now!
  6. I would like to announce that BZP member and apparently sometime-Revolutionary has won my Blog Contest from a while back. I refer you to the entry. There was something wrong with the Member Spotlight wording, and I happened to notice it when I was featured there a while ago. I PMed Black Six about it, and he said that it was interesting, but naturally very low on his list of priorities. So I held a Blog Contest, asking Revolutionaries to try and figure out the error I had spotted. Today, Toa Lhikevikk won. The Member Spotlight wording reads, "_________ joined on ________ and racked up ______ posts in that time." In other words, I joined on October 12th and racked up 2383 posts in that time. I racked up 2383 posts in the time "October 12th, 2005". It should read something along the lines of, "Vorahk9 joined on October 12th, and has racked up 2383 posts since that time." Since. Not "in". "October 12th, 2005" isn't a time period. I assume, from Lhikevikk's comment, that he realized this, and thus wins FIVE, yes, FIVE Blog points, a high rank and high respect within the coming Revolution, and one custom-made Cressona Award. Enjoy, and remember: The Revolution is Coming. -Cressona
  7. YES! LHIKEVIKK WINS IT! -Cressona
  8. That is a bit of a run-on, but that's not what I was looking at. Hint: it has to do with the line "...joined on ____ and has racked up ______ posts in that time." It's really more of a logical mistake than a grammatical error.

    Watchmen

Watchmen comes out tomorrow! I'd have gone for a Watchmen theme or something, but at this point it'd be too little, too late. lol@expression I'm going to see it tomorrow, I think, and from the trailer (which I got on my iPod for free, only to realize that it was still a waste because I'd only really watch it like once anyway ), it does look really good. The snow day on Monday still has me thinking a day behind, though, but when I catch up I'm probably going to realize that I'm not gonna be able to finish (or even start ) the graphic novel (read: cooler name for a comic book ) before I see the movie. Moving along, it turns out that "Vitruvian" (ala "Vitruvian Man", ala Kanohi Ignika, ala Mata Nui) isn't a word. At least, it's not in my dictionary. << Turns out that Vitruvis was an architect, actually considered the "first architect". Really, he was just the first one whose papers survived, because he does mention previos architectural works. And, yeah, he was Roman. Apparently when daVinci drew his Virtuvian Man (which is really just supposed to be a reference of accurate human proportions), he based the design on Vitruvius's work. And now you know... the rest of the story! -Cressona
  21. Wow, that is really good. Usually someone's either a good distance runner, a good sprinter, or good at field events, but to be good at all of them's amazing.

  22. Cool. My italian friend (=P) is a poll vaulter, and it does look like a lot of fun. If I wasn't so busy with the mile, I'd probably try it. =P

  23. I do cross-country, too, in the fall, so I'm a miler. I'll go for the 1000, too, once in a while, but not really any sprinting or field events. You pole-vault?

  24. spring season starts in a week here, too. do you do winter?

  25. Greg, you have-- by far-- the most profile views of any member on this site, over 5000 more than the second highest member.
