  2. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable read. It's easy to see why BZPower's official reviews don't take the Ruthless Seran approach, though. It'd make the younger readers cry. They scarcely know what a Tahnok Va is, so even that flash of wit would be in vain.

Such is the shame of the world. -S

Yes, Tahnok Va had one of the best parts in the whole Ruthless Review. Anyway, I am amazed at how funny that was, especially the part about the box. Yes, if one does not look closely, one might have the ridiculous notion that it is underwater. I seem to suffer from that myself.

Just because I wanted to say that, this looks to me like something my Literature teacher would like.

Oh, and uh, I approve your blog. (I am too lazy to make a banner of approval).

  3. Well, I suppose I'll enter, seeing how I'm a member of the DTO.

My character is called The Dark Lord.

    Link to the picture

Story: The Dark Lord is a general in the Brotherhood of Makuta, on par in rank with Dark Toa captains Ahkmou and Xeriath. He is very old, being one of the most ancient members of the Order besides Makuta himself. The Dark Lord is wise, skilled in battle, and ambitious. Very ambitious. Extremely ambitious.

His history is a long and interesting one. Back in the days of old Metru Nui, when Makuta held command of Metru Nui as its benevolent leader, the Dark Lord led the Brotherhood. For a while, he held charitable acts, but as Makuta's true plan went into fruition, it was the Dark Lord who led the Brotherhood to attack Metru Nui and soon enslave the Matoran.

All was going according to plan until the Toa Hagah exposed the coverup. As the team destroyed Exo-Toa and faced Makuta, the Dark Lord and the Shadowed One led the Brotherhood and Dark Hunters against the Matoran rebels. However, thanks to the courage and skill of Toa Dume and his legions of Toa from all the nearby islands, the evil armies were crushed.

Makuta forgave his servant, however, seeing as how the newly Turaga Dume would not allow Makuta on Metru Nui anymore. So the Master of Shadows set out a new plan: All of his confederates would go to new islands to ally their peoples to the Dark Hunter and Brotherhood cause. The Dark Lord set out on this, and voyaged to an unknown island.

This place, called Sharu Nui, was in the same area as Zakaz Nui, homeland of the Skakdi, and harbored a similar but taller and broader race called the Sharaku. Seeing that Zakaz was already in Brotherhood and Dark Hunter hands, the Dark Lord set out to ally the Sharaku to his cause. Using eloquence, a bit of darkness powers, and general monologues, the Sharaku soon hated the "enemy" Toa and joined him. Their worker class, small Matoran-sized creatures called the Torika, soon began building cities, forts, and bases, while the Sharaku began forming factories and armies. The Dark Lord himself trained an Elite squadron of Sharaku, one of each of the six colors of the Sharaku and Skakdi: Red, green, blue, brown, black, white, and their corresponding Torika. A gold Sharaku served as his pupil and bodyguard.

After the Great Catacylsm, the Skakdi began a civil war between the Dark Hunter faction and the Brotherhood faction, and the Sharaku shut themselves off from the world to help their cousins. To avoid this, the Dark Lord and his minions commandeered a Brotherhood vessel, and set off into the unknowns of the south seas, in pursuit of an unknown Great Mask . . . . .
