  1. Good to be back Ultron, and thanks for the approve. One question of clarification before I start posting though, is there a rule yet on the level 2 teleportation limit? Certain amount of times you can use in in a short period, range of teleport, things like that?
  2. Name: Kovinth Variation: Teleportation Level: 2 Gender: Male Gear: A curved blade he keeps attached in its sheath to his left arm, a round shield, a canvas bookback with a journal and whatever books he's been reading lately. (Currently a world atlas and a book of more detailed maps, flora, and fauna of the world) Also an eyepiece with a telescoping feature to better see points he might be able to teleport to. Appearance: Tall and lithe, he has modified himself to not take up much room, horizontally speaking. His feet are smaller than standard, taking up only enough room to support his frame, no more. His shell has been upturned, so the Kraata stays mostly vertical with the exception of the head. His arms are longer than average, hanging just past his knees when resting. Form-fitting armor plates cover his limbs and his front, while his backside is protected by his spines, short barbs. His armor alternates at each joint, starting from his feet with a midnight blue, to a deep purple, back to blue, etc. termiting at his head in purple. Personality: Slightly obsessive would describe Kovinth nicely. He is fascinated by the world and all that resides in it, and the circumstances that surround himself and the other evolved Kraata specifically. Most of his free time is spent reading, with occasional bouts of furious writing in his journal as revelations about himself and his personality come to life. He works very hard not to neglect the social aspect that comes with sentience, though he's yet to fully figure out that most other Rahkshi are less interested in learning about new life as they are in ending it. He does have one other quirk that differentiates him from almost all other Rahkshi, he is afraid of flying. He prefers not to fight head-on and would rather use his teleportation and terrain to his advantage, sneaking up on and surprising the enemy when he must fight. Bio: Kovinth was a Kraata born to one of the lesser Makuta, Gavilk. She ruled over a small island chain in the southwest, and her specialty was in the creation of unique Rahi. Kovinth was fascinated by the work of his creator, and she was likewise fascinated by the sentient Kraata. She attempted to study him for several months, and he used that time to glean some knowledge of the world from her, reading about and studying the Rahi that she made. This sparked an obsession with knowledge, and he grew to want to learn about himself as well. Knowing she had no answers for the curious Rahkshi, Gavilk made arrangements to send him to Corpus Rahkshi. During his early days with her, however, it was discovered that there was a slight but significant defect in his original armor, the flight ability would erraticall fail, causing several glorious crash landings. Even after getting new armor, (with the changes he had requested for it) this formational experience was enough to shock him, and he now only takes to the air as a last resort, in a life-or-death situation.
  3. IC: Magneta closed her eyes and stretched out her arms, feeling the low magnetic pulse surrounding the team in a dome. It was a simple matter to amplify the magnetic portion of the field, pushing it up as high as she dared without having it violently attract any metal the team might have on them.IC: "Like I said, we let the psychic hater go in and take out the psychic, that's one big problem gone. I can always go after Hexas too, she might be able to take an energy blast, but what about a full on plasma cutter to the face?"
  4. IC: Magneta nodded to Loadstone and generated a weak magnetic field around the area. Once Loadstone set up the rest of it, she'd amplify her end. "Alright, I'm ready!"IC: "Greeeeeat, a psychic. Can we sic the psychic hater on him? If we're lucky, they'll both go down." Ember muttered that last part, only Tillan would hear him if he were paying attention.
  5. OOC: Yeah, I'm still around for the forest plot, just not sure what to have Magneta do. The animals really confused me for some reason. O.oIC: Plasmafire brightened up when Fade landed next to him, and approached his friend. "Alright, you made it out! Where do we go from here? I assume you have all this planned out."OOC: It's nice to post in that color again...
  6. OOC: Welp, my internet has been very angry with me as of late, so there's my excuse. So, I replaced the modem/router. We'll see if that helps.IC: In the ensuing chaos surrounding Romulus, Ember had dragged himself to his feet and limped towards the cockpit. He sat in the copilots chair and slammed his head on the console in front of him, taking care not to press any buttons with his face. He groaned in pain and sat back up straight. "He's got steel-toed boots... Oh lordy, that hurt..." OOC: I have no idea what to do with Magneta at the moment...
  7. IC: N-Ber smiled a wicked grin. "Regrowing eyes and a jaw is a pain, really?" He asked, grabbing Romulus's jaw and igniting that hand. "Let's just see how much of a pain that is..." The ambiguous super ignited two fingers on his other hand and slowly aimed them at the villain's eyes.OOC: I don't want to get too graphic with that, so let's just assume he is, in fact, carrying through with his threat and we're just not seeing it, okay?
  8. IC: "Let me handle this one." Ember said, stepping between Lone and Romulus. he obviously had some stress to work out. He turned to the captive and ignited his hand, placing it on the front of the Roman armor. "Well, thanks to my associate, you know what kind of information we're after. I don't care how good you are at regenerating, you can't escape heat. Where is she? What sort of defenses are we looking at? Talk to us, or you're in for a world of hurt." At that momemt, Ember's hand finally melted through the chestplate and he heard a sizzle as his firey fingers hit skin.
  9. IC: Ember scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine I only got ditched in a saloon full of people who hate my guts and are actively trying to kill me in horrible, painful ways! Anyway, whatever. I just want to know if our deal's still on before we go any farther."
  10. IC: N-Ber saw the cargo doors open, and let go of his handhold. He noticed Madness passed out on the wing, and made a quick detour to grab the hero. He threw Madness into a fireman's carry, then made his way towards Tillian. As he entered the jet he let loose a string of curses that would make a sailor blush. He turned to Tillian after droppinh Madness in a chair and started yelling. "What was that?! You guys just ditched me, what the @&$! man?!"IC: Magneta turned to X-Caliber and sighed. "It seems we have a shapeshifter on the loose who has a vendetta aginst our newest member here." She said as she motioned to Epsilon.
  11. OOC: Negafire is waiting for /some/ sort of response to his banging on the jet, and I don't really know what the holdup is in the forest... Suppose Magneta can help out.IC: Magneta had heard the scream and flew through the woods, soon finding the source. It was Epsilon fighting... Epsilon. Lovely. She looked at her metal-coated form, it should be enough to withstand a bone attack. She flew between the two, pressing on both their chests and making the metal arms rigid so they couldn't get at each other. "Alright, enough! Which one's the real Epsilon, we need to get on with this mission!"
  12. IC(K): Korkoa had slipped into the water as the boat started moving, and had been swimming happily, surfacing occasionally to make sure he was on course. He heard something about an incident, and decided to learn more about this world. He rocketed out of the water and landed in the boat, swaying from side to side as the craft rocked. "Incident? What sort of incident are we talking about?"
  13. OOC: ... So... They just ditched N-Ber? So much for Tillian's deal... You know what? I'm getting him back on that jet!IC: N-Ber ducked as Madness blasted the floor, then looked at the man in confusion. "Um... Actually, I've been causing my distraction for long enough, we can leave now." Ember whirled around and threw a plasma spark at the nearest wall, blowing a hole in it big enough to fly through. He motioned for Madness to follow him, then burst into flame, rocketing through the hole. He flew towards the jet, trying to go faster as it began to lift off. He got closer and closer as the jet began to disappear from view, then finally landed above the cockpit at thr cloak fully engaged. He banged on the roof, hoping that someone inside remembered about the bay in the back that could be opened remotely... He also hoped Madness could fly. If not, he'd try to get them to go back under cloak. Otherwise, Madness was at least out of the hands of the Coalition...
  14. OOC: Just to be clear, is Madness blasting a hole in the wall in order to escape? I'm slightly confused by the wording...
  15. IC: N-Ber shivered as the temperature dropped, then chuckled. He snapped his fingers and an orb of plasma the size of his head sprang to life. The superheated gas counteracted the cold, the ice starting to melt. N-Ber then addressed Madness, yelling to be heard over the noise. "Yo, I got a deal for you! You help me out of this sticky situation and give me and hand with the shark lady thing, and you get to go home! Whadaya say?"IC: Magneta smiled and nodded to Loadstone, then pulled out her handful of marbles. The metal orbs floated in front of her, then flew to coat the heroine in a thin layer. Using her metal 'skin', she lifted herself off the floor and flew out of the jet, hovering by the others as she took in her surroundings.
  16. Man, it feels like just yesterday we were playing A Hollow Cry together... Geez, you and everyone else in that RPG are the reason I'm so addicted to RPing today! For that, I extend my undying gratitude, my friend! Happy birthday, man!
  17. IC(K): Korkoa stood by the boat, amused by the conversation. "Yes yes, you're going insane, Orion." The Zora said with a chuckle. "Now, do you two need me in the boat? I'll gladly help if you need me, but if not then I'm going to swim."
  18. IC(K): Korkoa walked over to the other Zora, and placed a hand on Zaied's shoulder, nodding to him. "I hope our adventure together can be the start of a great relationship between our people, brother." He said with a smile. "I hope to see you again, perhaps under better circumstances."
  19. IC(K): "Oh, what a shame!" Korkoa cried sarcastically as he made his way down the stairs. "I thought we'd be rid of you, and have to go into enemy territory down a solder! Imagine my disappointment when I discover that we can actually bring our full team!" He arrived at the bottom and grinned at Orion, chuckling.
  20. IC(K): Korkoa facepalmed and shook his head, sighing. "I just don't get it... I would think that if the Zora's had a map of their fortress, they would have put the secret stairs on it... I don't understand."
  21. IC(K): Korkoa had been sitting quietly by, but his eye twitched when he heard of the secret spiral staircase. "Oh. Staircase. Of course there's a staircase. Why wouldn't there be? Any why didn't we know of this?!"
  22. IC: Ember glared at Hivemind, scowling at the scientist. "Oh, lovely, you decided to open your mouth. I'm a bit busy right now, please leave a message after the 'fwoosh'." With that, he reached out and took control of the trio of flame jets. He directed one at Hivemind, one at Metallurge, and the last at Romulus, curving it around Gadgeteer.
  23. IC: "Oh goody." Magneta said, reaching into her pocket and pulling out one of the metal marbles she carried. She levitated it above her hand,, watching it closely. She channeled a small portion of her power into the sphere and simply watched for a moment. She'd learned long ago that if she extended her control to an object, but didn't actively change it, her subconscious would shape it. She watched with a small smile as the surface of the orb rippled, the metal seeming to flow like water. It slowly morphed through various shapes, the changes becoming bigger and more wild as she emptied her mind. It was oddly therapeutic for her, to see the 'inactive' portions of her mind at work, and doing this almost always calmed her down and put her at ease.IC: N-Ber looked around calmly at the Mystery doppelgangers surrounding him. Logically speaking, he /should/ be terrified, but... Well, he wasn't. He couldn't explain it, he just felt very calm about facing Mr. Mystery right now. "Ooh. /Very/ nice speech. Allow me my rebuttal. I may have started off as Plasmafire, yes, but that's because of one very simple fact: Our experiences define us. When I was created, I had his experiences, and by extension, was Plasmafire. However, I have had my own experiences in these past months, which allow me to grow beyond the boundaries he's got."As for his quote unquote 'flawed side'... You have no idea how wrong you are. He plays up how he's not like other pyro's, how he's got his temper under control, when really... He's got as much of a dark side as anyone. A deep-seated rage that he's learned to control. That's what I am. I'm his anger, his frustration, his rage. I am the fighter inside of Plasmafire. The part of him that birthed me is a huge part of what makes him a hero. Because it's not a vengeance-driven rage, or and anger fueled one. No, it's a righteous fury. A deep-seated hatred of evil, this is what drives his rage. That's the dark anger than Sakeme latched onto. He tried to twist it, but it's reverted. I inherited that hatred of evil. And I don't care if everyone knows. Because, Mr. Mystery... I AM A HERO!" N-Ber yelled that last sentence for everyone to hear, just before creating an expanding dome of fire around himself, sending it towards the ring of doppelgangers. He figured that Mystery was probably still in the corner, but he could at least get rids of the copies...
  24. IC: Magneta smiled at Skyra and shrugged. "So far, it's been good! I just went public on a live broadcast last night though, so it's still sinking in for some people. I've been getting all those wacky superhuman conspiracy theories thrown my way, but nothing out of the ordinary. Why,are you considering it?"
